Handcrafted for explorers and curious minds, this two-week tour will allow you to discover the best of Belize. This tour will also spit your time between the white-sand cayes, the lush interior, and the southern coastline.

Your tour will begin at the best-known of Belize’s destinations, Ambergris Caye. Surrounded by Caribbean waters and part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, this white sandy base quickly introduces the tranquility of the country. You can bask in the laid-back island life, snorkel in Hol Chan Marine Reserve and the Shark Ray Alley, and explore the Great Blue Hole. In the evenings, you can relax at your lodge and look out over the Caribbean.

You will then travel to San Ignacio via a combination of water-taxi and forest roads. Your days here will be all about the interior. During your time here, you will be surrounded by forest and  immersed in the local life. You will spend the next day in Guatemala, where you can explore the Tikal ruins in the afternoon before returning to them for a temple sunrise the following day.

After returning to Belize, you will spend your final few nights in Placencia, which is a coastal destination of luxury developments and beautiful beaches. You can spend a day diving or snorkeling around Gladden Split for a spectacular experience. Belize Honeymoon Review: Stay on Private Island, Ambergris Caye, Drinks & Food, Relaxation & Dives

First, we want to say that our trip to Belize was exactly what we were hoping for! We reached out to Zicasso for help planning our honeymoon to Belize and were matched up with the travel agent at the travvel company.  We had envisioned a beach honeymoon that included relaxing on the beach but also scuba diving multiple times during the week.  We are also foodies and love to experience a countries cuisine via private dinners or cooking classes wherever we travel.  Our agent heard all of our requests and brought it to life for us.  It was a perfect combination of romantic and relaxing, while also being fun and adventurous at times. We spent 7 days total in Belize. The first portion was spent on a private island resort close to Dangriga.  We could only utilize a boat to get on and off the island.  We had one day of diving and the rest of the time was spent relaxing on the beach, drinking fruity drinks, and eating delicious food.  The resort was very welcoming and accommodating. Our final night on the island included a private dinner with the head chef of the resort.  That was certainly a highlight of the trip! This first leg of our trip was truly incredible and forced us to unwind and really detach ourselves from our hectic home lives and enjoy the moment in time that we had on this beautiful Caye. The second portion of the trip was spent on Ambergris Caye at another 5 star resort just outside of bustling San Pedro.  We stayed in a beach front cabana.  Having our front door open up to the sandy beach, with the ocean steps from our front door was breathtaking! The food and service at the resort were top notch and the diving excursions we had were something we will not ever forget. Throughout the trip the travel company was just an email or phone call away.  They checked in on us throughout the vacation making sure everything was going smoothly.  We constantly felt taken care of and that our happiness and satisfaction with our trip/experience were the most important thing to this travel agency.  We cannot recommend the travel agent and her affiliates enough if you are planning a trip to Belize. Everything service related (both by the agency and the resorts) was impeccable and executed seamlessly and took any and all travel related stress away.  When we go back to Belize we will be using the travel agency again!  Thank you so much for the amazing honeymoon and the fantastic memories we created while in Belize.

Luxury Belize Honeymoon Review: Belize City, Maya Flats, Caracol, San Ignacio, Ambergris Caye, Barton Creek, Big Rock Falls

The trip to Belize was absolutely fantastic! We had an amazing time exploring Barton Creek Cave, Caracol, and Big Rock Falls at our first resort at the Blancaneaux Lodge. I highly recommend paying the extra money to book a flight to San Ignacio, Maya Flats, and having the shorter drive of 45 min - 1 hour instead of the long drive from Belize City to Blancaneaux Lodge which is 2 1/2 hours. The drive from the airport to the resort was a very hard drive due to the road being so rocky and not what you want to do after travelling for 8 hours.

Our second stop was at Victoria House on Ambergris Caye, this place was absolutely amazing as well. The food was fantastic at Blancaneaux Lodge and Victoria House! The people of Belize are so friendly and helpful and did not make you feel unsafe at all.

Our travel agency helped us book a flight from San Ignacio to San Pedro and were very receptive to emails/calls while we were in Belize. They are absolutely fantastic to work with and I would love to work with them in the future!

Your overall comments on Zicasso

I found out about zicasso through a google search because I was very unhappy with a local travel agent in Raleigh. Zicasso service was very helpful with travel agents that know the area best that you are visiting!

Belize Travel Review: Placencia, Ambergris Caye, Silk Cayes Marine Reserve, Snorkeling with Sea Life
The travel planner with the travel company planned the perfect beach vacation for us in Belize.  Our planner is very knowledgeable about the many options Belize has to offer.  We wanted a warm beach vacation and she picked two perfect places. Placencia, the town was fun to explore we could walk there on the beach or bike on the road.  The resort villas had Kayaks, Paddleboards, Bikes and Golf Carts.   We had a fantastic snorkeling excursion to the Silk Cayes.  The next stop was the Resort and Spa on Ambergris Caye, the resort was amazing! They also provided bikes, Kayaks, Paddleboards and Golf Carts for exploring the area.  We had two days of snorkeling where we saw sharks, star fish, barracuda, among the plentiful sea life there.  We chose Belize because they were testing for Covid 19 pre entry and felt that would be a safer environment.  And both hotels had testing before departure back to the U.S.It was stress free and our travel planner checked in on us daily, how can you beat that!

Belize Vacation Review: Ambergris Caye, San Pedro, Cave Tubing, Iguana Conservation Project, Snorkeling, Local Cuisine

Our Zicasso tour operator's suggestions and planning for my first trip to Belize were beyond amazing and outstanding, especially given the short amount of time given for planning and then our requested change of dates about a month before flying. Together, we put together a land package that included the Mayan ruins and cave tubing.

The private transportation driver who took us to the mountain was patient in waiting for our delayed flight and knowledgeable in pointing out areas of interest on the two-hour trip.

We stayed at a hotel which was quaint, clean, and beautiful. The staff were completely service-driven. Our driver/guide for the Mayan ruins and cave tubing was extremely polite and so knowledgeable. We loved him! Cave tubing is way too much fun and I am looking forward to going back to do it again. Our travel agent added an unexpected and welcomed tour through an iguana conservation project located at the hotel.

The small plane/flight to Ambergris Caye was easy and gave great views. The inn right on the beach was cute, quaint, and small. It was in a great location to get away from the business of San Pedro by walking along the beachside or getting into the hustle/bustle of the town by walking one block.

We took two snorkel excursions on which both crews were extremely knowledgeable, polite, and very nice. One had us going out on a sailboat, which was a pleasant surprise.

We were able to rent a golf cart directly through the hotel, whose staff were kind and provided exceptional customer service, to travel to Secret Beach.

One minor thing was being on the second floor of the hotel instead of the ground floor, but we completely understand that we were probably lucky to have even got a room there due to our late changes.

We are more than excited about planning a trip to go back next year!

Belize Travel Review: Placencia, Mayan Ruins, Snorkeling, Horseback Riding, 8-Day Vacation
My wife and I had an amazing trip to Belize. Catarina was amazing, I had planned this for a couple years and Covid hit. I texted her years later in March, she responded immediately by name. She planned a perfect vacation understanding who we were and what we liked. Very easy to get a hold of. Belize is beautiful. The resorts in the Jungle and by the Sea, were top notch. Love the Mayan ruins and went horseback though the beautiful grounds. Went to an awesome 4 mile caye to snorkel for the day. All tours and staff at the hotels were awesome. Loved Placencia the peninsula, used golf carts to get around!

Guatemala, Belize Luxury Vacation Review: Pacaya Volcano Hike Tour, Lake Atitlán, 10-Day Trip

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Guatemala and Belize. Every part of the trip was wonderful, from the seamless travel and transfers to the lovely food, the fascinating range of experiences, the knowledgeable guides we connected with along the way, and so much more.

Zicasso's travel partner listened carefully to our requests and interests, and every detail was addressed to perfection. We had a wonderful mix of active adventure (volcano hike, kayaking, snorkeling, etc), culinary delights, cultural immersion, and ancient exploration (the ruins of Tikal). What's more, our travel team was communicative, checking in with us a couple of times along the way, and highly responsive (on the one or two occasions we had minor questions, we got almost immediate responses).
