The itinerary was awesome! We had a few snafus with hotel reservations, but they were quickly resolved. The tours were perfect and all private, with excellent guides. This was a three-generation trip. Our objective was to fully engage our two grandsons (ages 10 and 8) for a winter break trip that included learning about the history and culture of New Zealand, including the Māori people, the local plants and animals, rugby, and having a number of fun activities as well, while keeping the adults interested.
Zicasso’s travel agent and her team created an itinerary that superbly met our objectives. For example, our youngest grandson now has a Māori pen pal who is his age and they have started exchanging emails.
Our accommodations were superb, particularly the house in Nelson over Christmas, where we BBQ’d steaks while the kids swam in the pool and hot tub.
The next time we plan to go to New Zealand, we will definitely contact this travel company.
