Brazil Travel Review: Copacabana Beach, Rio, Manaus, Amazon, Helicopter Tour, Botanical Garden
We loved working with a local, eco-friendly travel company for our week-long trip to Rio de Janiero and the Amazon.  Our travel designer was able to provide us with answers to all our questions, as well and provide top-notch drivers, guides and hotels. We were met at the airport by a driver and a guide who spoke great English, transferred to a great hotel (and room) overlooking Copacabana Beach -- and the travel designer had arranged for us to check in to our room at 7 am!  After an overnight flight, this was very much appreciated. We kept the same driver and guide later that day for a leisurely tour of the Botanical Garden and Park Luje. A lovely way to de-stress after a long, long day of travel. We were suppose to do a helicopter tour late this afternoon, but when the clouds rolled in to cover the views, our guide made alternate plans for the next morning.  Again we were promptly picked up by the same driver and guide, and taken directly to the heliport for a fantastic helicopter tour (arranged by our designer, of course). Then we were taken to a clinic for Covid tests (required to stay in the Amazon) on our way to the airport to catch our flight. The travel designer arranged all flights & transfers: Rio to Manaus, overnight stay, then Manaus to Tefe where we had a transfer by boat to our Amazon lodge. The small lodge she recommended was delightful.  At the end of our stay she arranged for boat transfer and airline flights with all the necessary transfers. We were delighted to have booked thru our travel designer because she made sure all our guides and transfers had English speakers, which were immensely helpful in hotel and airport check ins, etc.The travel company made our trip stress free and allowed us to see, experience, and learn so much about Brazil thanks to her knowledge and her staff's quality assistance. We would highly recommend the travel company and won't hesitate to use them again for our next trip to Brazil.

Brazil Anniversary Tour Review: São Paulo, Manaus, Amazon, Cuiabá, North Pantanal, Wildlife Safari, Horseback Riding
We had a blast during our trip to Brazil. It was during the height of the pandemic in Brazil in April'2021. So we waited until the last minute to finalize our trip with our Brazil Travel Company. Our travel planner was very professional throughout the process. She patiently listed to what we were looking for in our experience and modified the itinerary based on our feedback since the pandemic kept changing the situation with what was open in Brazil. We decided to go to Amazonas and Pantanal region for our trip. We wanted to go to places that were less crowded and as is our travel style we chose to go to places less travelled (among tourists visiting Brazil for the first time). As such Portuguese was the main language for communication but our travel planner arranged for English speaking guides for us during our entire stay. All the guides were fabulous and their presence made for an enjoyable trip since they took us to places where locals visits (Instead of just taking us to touristy places), spoke in details about the culture and history of Brazil.During the 2nd day of our trip we were in Amazonas and our flight from Manaus to Cuaiba was cancelled. There was no internet connection in the lodge in Amazonas as such we did not even know about it. Our travel planner called the lodge immediately to inform us of the change along with a proposal for a revised itinerary option that was very close to the initial cost of the trip. They took care of making all the flight reservations and hotel reservations for us while we enjoyed out stay in AmazonasThe Lodge in Amazonas and all the hotels (Manaus & Cuaiba) chosen by our travel planner was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.Last but not the least we were celebrating our 20th anniversary and our travel planner arranged for champagne in Juma lodge, chocolates and sparkling wine in Cuaiba and wine in Pousada Puival (Pantanal Lodge). We were so happy and surprised with this gesture of putting a personal touch to our trip.We would highly recommend the services of our Brazil Travel Company to anyone who wants to visit Brazil. Infact we have already decided that when we visit Brazil again (We have to go since Brazil is a big country and this time we could not visit Rio or Iguazu falls due to the Pandemic) we will go with this company again.

Brazil Luxury Vacation Review: Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, Amazon Experience
We had a great time and loves our trip to Brazil. We went to Rio for a couple of days and saw the sites, and was there for New Year's eve.  Then, we flew to Iguazu Falls and viewed the falls from the Brazil side and then the next day from the Argentinian side.  Then, we flew to Manaus and drove to the Amazon where we spent a couple of days.  While we had a great trip to Brazil, I would say that the only downside was that our travel agent didn't plan enough for the time that we had alotted with the tour guide for the days that we were with him.  Our tour guide was amazing, but our travel agent only planned 2 things for an 8 hour period on our first day.  Then, on the second day, we had a 6 hour tour and only one thing was planned.  We ended up revising our schedule on the fly, and it all worked out thanks to our tour guide. However, we were disappointed in the lack of time management for our two days in Rio. We didn't know in advance that these things weren't going to take as much time as the travel agent allowed as we just went with her recommendation.

Dear Zicasso.............................this is the third or fourth time we have used your service to find excellent travel advice and bookings. On this occassion, we were on a cruise up the east coast of Brazil and down the mighty Amazon and were connected to Camille. In particular, we wanted a one day whirl wind tour of Rio de Janeiro and a deep Amazon experience out of Manaus. Camille delivered on all fronts - we will never forget Brazil !!

Brazil Vacation Review: Rio, Copacabana Beach, Christ the Redeemer Statue, Food Markets, Hiking & Biking, Shopping and Culture
Let me start with our trip was AMAZING!We are truly are world travelers and because of that, we know exactly what we want to do and see. Seeing the Christ the Redeemer statue was the last of the 7 wonders on our list.  Along with that, we wanted to see and experience Rio.I gave our travel planner a list of what we wanted to do.  She sent back an itinerary.  It was as if she had known us for years.  We like to keep moving with little downtime.  Not only did we see the Christ the Redeemer statue, there was also a bike ride along the beach and city, hikes to incredible overlooks, cachaça shots, we learned how to make caipirinha cocktail, a favela tour, shopping, food markets...and more!   So much fun!Our hotel looked over the Copacabana beach.  Beautiful! And any COVID questions I asked she had the answers for. Then, our guide was also AMAZING!  He made sure that every minute he had with us was exactly what we wanted.  Not only did he bike and hike with us, he made sure we saw the views from every mountain top and why they were important. He spent time with us sitting at the local restaurant/bar outside and watching the locals go by all while explaining the culture.  Not to mention the mini Portuguese lessons..LOL. I know I'm missing so many things.  Honestly they made our trip incredible.  What a dynamic duo.

Brazil Travel Agent Review, Rio, Juma River, Piranha Fishing, Brazilian Carnival, Culture, History, Wildlife

We booked through Zicasso and this tour company although a travel specialist provided a lot of the local transfers & guides. Obtaining a visa online only took a few days. The entire itinerary was arranged by the trip planner at this tour company and she did an outstanding job organizing it. We had no prior experience with Brazil so we really hoped for a tour which would show as much of the diversity of the country as possible. She delivered big time! At every stop we were met an guide who escorted us to our hotel. In spite of a couple of delayed flights, they were always there waiting for us. Very important. The tours were all good and just about the right length of time at each location. A couple of extra days in Rio would have been good but it is a big country to we had a lot of ground to cover. The individual tour guides had excellent English and were very experienced and knowledgeable. I have to say that from beginning to end this was a trip of a lifetime made possible only by the professional service provided by the tour company.
