Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam Vacation Review: Elephant Sanctuary, Private Tours, Local Culture, Cuisine, Angkor Wat, Cu Chi Tunnels, Trekking, Biking, Boating, 10-Night Trip

Our Zicasso travel agent did a wonderful job taking our requests and styling a complex, detailed itinerary. Everything worked perfectly. The guides all communicated with each other and the drivers were always at the expected locations. All accommodations were awesome and well-located.

Beginning in Chiang Mai, Thailand, we visited Doi Inthanon National Park, the Doi Suthep mountain temple, and had an absolutely awesome time visiting with elephants at the elephant sanctuary, among other things. We even got to play with a two-week-old elephant. All our dining recommendations were awesome and we particularly enjoyed our time with the guides.

Next, we flew to Krabi for unforgettable views and relaxing beach time. Again, the resort was awesome. We even went mountain climbing on Railay Beach. My son got engaged at the New Year's gala at our hotel, which was spectacular; an unbelievable stay. We particularly enjoyed our time with the guide!

Next, we finished in Bangkok, where the highlight was riding in the tuk-tuks and doing a city food tour. Our guide was so awesome and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, eight of the 10 of us then flew home, while my wife and I continued to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Our guide was such a good travel companion and we left Cambodia with a true knowledge of Cambodian life/history/temples. He was very forthcoming about his life growing up under the Khmer Rouge. Although a long day, the temple tour was unbelievable, culminating in Angkor Wat. Our hotel was awesome and blocks from the nightlife on Pub Street. It was such a great stay.

Next, we flew to Saigon. We were met by our guide, who noticed we were hungry and immediately stopped at a local street food vendor for our first foray into bun bo. It was so good. The mix of history, countryside visits, and city tours with our guide was awesome and she even left us with a customized pictorial of our visit. The other excursion that needs mention is the Vespa city and food tour. Our main guide was delightful, giving us a true taste of Saigon culture and food. The drivers were so great.  This tour finished with a surprise visit to a local bar/club, where we had front-row seats to an awesome Latin band for a nightcap. It was truly unforgettable. Also, we cannot forget our visit to the Cu Chi tunnels, where our guide did a great job educating and touring us through this unbelievable history.

Then, we flew to Hanoi to another awesome location. Highlights in Hanoi would be visiting the Hoa Lo prison, having dinner in a local family's home, and especially the Minsk backstreet tour. Our tour drivers were so awesome. This excursion really gave us a feel for the city/backstreets, as well as an idea of the frightening life of riding a motorbike through the city and back alleys of Hanoi. It was truly unforgettable. This tour finished with my knees about a foot away from the speeding train at Hanoi train station, another can't-miss site!

Next, we visited Ninh Binh for trekking, biking, and bamboo boating. The scenery was awesome and it was definitely a nice break from the busy city.

The trip finished with a two-night, three-day cruise on Hạ Long Bay. The scenery was unbelievable and the staff were excellent; so attentive and informative.

This trip truly was spectacular and we are so happy that Zicasso connected us with our agent to make all of this happen. We couldn't be happier with the entire trip!

Thailand Luxury Travel Review: Bangkok, Siem Reap, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Phra Nang Bay, Food Tours, Culture, History, 2-Week Trip
Wow, what a trip!  What an adventure!  We cannot say enough good things about the travel agency, Lenny and his team. From the very start of our travels, the team was on hand, catering to our every need and staying one step ahead of us.  We were greeted at airports, bustled through customs and baggage, driven by expert drivers to our beautiful accommodations and then met each day by knowledgeable and fun tour guides taking us to the top tourist spots as well as the little known, hidden gems that most non-locals would not know about. With the travel company on the ground, we were able to enjoy our days, immersing ourselves in the culture, history, food, nature and beautiful sites of Thailand, Siem Reap (Angkor Wat), Chiang Mai and finally Phuket. We loved experiencing all the must-sees and at the same time, having local guides at each destination that could take us to more remote, lesser-known destinations, and fill us in on the local flavor, customs, current and recent history of the people, including government, religion, economic situation, traditions and even some of their family backgrounds. Very warm and personal, yet professional at the same time. Not to be missed were the various food tours and tastings in Bangkok, at the floating market south of Bangkok, and in Siem Reap. And learning about the local hill tribes and Lanna cultures, going to the highest point in Thailand, bathing the elephants, and kayaking around the caves in Phra Nang Bay. Did we mention the spectacular Wats everywhere?  Wish we were still there, just anticipating our next day's adventures, with the travel agency managing every detail in the background.  Thank you Lenny, and the rest of the team and their on-the-ground guides for an absolutely perfect vacation!

Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam Luxury Vacation Review: Angkor Wat, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, 18-Day Tour

Oh, my, Zicasso's tour operator organized our best trip ever! We are two couples who have been traveling extensively since we retired. Our 18 days in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand were flawless and amazing!

Our travel agent organized six flights and fast-tracked us through every airport. We were met every step of the way. All of our tour guides were local, personable, knowledgeable, and helped us feel like we were seeing the “real” country. And how he was able to book us in six different five-star hotels, each one more beautiful than the next, for the price we paid, was unbelievable.

All of the activities he suggested and organized were spot-on, from the hectic rickshaw ride in Hanoi to the waterfall hike in Chiang Mai to the full-day, private boat/snorkeling trip to the Phi Phi islands in Thailand. I could go on and on.

We loved that everything was private for the four of us. I can’t recommend this company strongly enough!

This travel team organized a wonderful trip through several locations in Thailand and to Siem Reap.  The travel designer and his crew are incredibly organized, easy to reach, and very responsive.  All went smoothly from the planning stages to the guide at each airport to our final drop-off to fly back home.

Luxury Thailand & Cambodia Travel Review: Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Koh Samui, Cycling Tour, Floating Market, Railway Market
This travel team were absolutely great. The first partner proposed by Zicasso was much faster giving me a full program and the agent was also very nice and easy to talk to, but I would have had to ask for many changes. Particularly the type of hotels and tours, which were proposed likely due to the lower budget I had given initially. It took a bit more to hear from Lenny at this travel company but he first requested a call to understand our likes and dislikes, what we were looking for and the type of travelers we were, and during that first call I mentioned that the experience was more important than sticking to the budget too. When the proposition came, I couldn't wait to travel and visit all the places suggested as well as the hotels. It's as if it had been me selecting everything, if not better, without spending all the time a trip planning requires.

We still adapted a few destinations mostly due to our time constraints and then flights availability.

We did Bangkok-Phnom Penh - Siem Reap - Singapore (although we had to book the hotel ourselves here as they don't provide services for Singapore) - and Koh Samui

In Bangkok, Siem Reap and Koh Samui we had some organized trips that were great. We loved the hotels proposed, all transfers went smoothly and couldn't be happier at the end of our holidays that Lenny and his team were with us all along the way, always in contact and available.

Excellent Excellent Excellent!
