Greece, Croatia Tour Review: Santorini, Athens, Fira, Elaphiti, Private Boat Ride, 12-Day Trip

We could not have been happier with this trip! We were overwhelmed by the possibilities, so Zicasso's travel agency helped us create a great itinerary that was wonderful! Once we were there, we felt taken care of. The transfers were particularly great! It was such a relief not having to worry about getting somewhere on time.

We made an addition mid-trip and our driver was heroic getting our luggage to a hotel in Fira, where he could not drive and had so many stairs to navigate. The guides were great as well. Our very best excursion was a private boat day in the Elaphiti Islands. We would 100% use them again.

Travel Review: Luxury Croatia Family Vacation, Split, Dubrovnik, Elaphiti Islands, Blue Cave, Krka Waterfalls, Michelin Restaurant

We wanted to thank our Croatia travel company, and especially Matea, for all that they did for us to make this vacation perfect. We really had a wonderful time. We just completed 11 days; 5 days in Split and 5 days in Dubrovnik which was amazing. The whole family enjoyed it, all the trips were such fun, and we especially appreciated that the logistics were all so well planned. Absolutely nothing went wrong, all tours were on time, all drivers, all cars, everything was flawless!

The highlight was definitely the Elaphiti Island yacht trip which was really special, but all of the trips were fantastic. Matea was thoughtful in her planning and came to meet us one morning before a trip which was lovely. She was always on hand to connect with any small question.

We valued their strong attention to detail, their communication both before, during, and after, the high level of quality in the guides and tour operators, and the hotel choices. The hotels and locations were perfect.

We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Travel Review: Tour of Bosnia, Croatia & Slovenia, Ljubljana, Medjugorje, Zadar, Plitvice Lakes, Lake Bled, Local Culture

I HIGHLY recommend this travel agency!

I am an Event Planner with 20 year experience in coordinating events and traveling the world.  I normally research and book my own travel but I just did not have time to research and pull this trip together myself.  I Googled tour operators in Central Europe and came across the Zicasso site.  Zicasso referred me to this travel agency.  This travel planner reached out to me immediately and we began planning my 14 day trip to Slovenia and Croatia with my cousin.

This travel planner was very responsive and sent me great suggestions within a day or two of our initial contact.  From there I was able to easily identify which cities, towns and activities we were interested in.   The planning was seamless!

What made this company extraordinary was their ability to handle urgent change requests.  While at Plitvice National Park, my cousin had a horrible allergic reaction to the wood in a resort we were scheduled to sleep that night.  Our driver called our travel planner and she quickly made arrangements for us at another hotel in the coastal town of Zadar.  She then reached out to make sure my cousin was OK and offered her assistance in case we needed to seek medical attention.

Then later in the trip we decided that we wanted to cut our island hopping trip short to visit the religious town of Medjugorje in Bosnia.  Within a few hours, our travel planner had secured a driver, guide and hotel accommodations for us.

Our travel planner checked in with us several times throughout our trip to make sure we were satisfied and to inquire if there was anything further that we needed.

I was really impressed with this company's professionalism, responsiveness and overall coordination of our trip!  My expectations were high and this company not only met my expectations, but exceeded them.  I will definitely work with them again in planning my next trip to central Europe!

Travel Review: Luxury Croatia Vacation, Split, Hvar, Zagreb, Lopud, Ston, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Boat Trip, Wine Tasting
From the very beginning of this process the travel company, our travel consultant, and his people, have been very informative, patient and helpful.  Their initial proposal was very professional with many choices and suggestions and we couldn't help but get excited for our trip with all the info and video that was provided to us.  It was very easy to add and subtract activities even if we had paid for them already.  All the drivers were very courteous and friendly and even made some impromptu stops to show us things.  All the guides for the walking tours were friendly and knowledgeable.  Our contact people in Zagreb and I believe it may be, were informative, and more importantly, they were fun.  Had a fun time with our wine tasting in Zagreb. Plitvice lakes was stunning although still a bit crowded.  I would suggest to people going in mid to late Sept. to avoid the crowds. I thought Split was a very special place which we loved.  Our boat trip from Split to Hvar and the blue grotto was nice but the snorkeling was terrible.  This was my one major complaint.  You should tell the people who ran it to buy some decent snorkel equipment.  There were no snorkels even available and the masks were cheap junk.  The snorkel location was terrible also, dead coral and not many fish.  Dubrovnik was wonderful and our cooking class was one of the highlights.  The family was warm and inviting.  We had a lot of laughs with them and the food was terrific.  Our contact helped set up a last second boat trip to three islands for us.  So grateful for the opportunity to visit these islands.  It would be my highest recommendation for other travelers. All the hotels we picked were fantastic, although the windows at the hotel in Dubrovnik leaked rain in pretty badly and were never fixed despite us notifying them of the problem. A small amount of mold on the ceiling of our room in the Hotel in Split, but the very friendly desk clerk promptly moved us to another room.  Overall a great trip which we would do again.

Review: Croatia Family Vacation, Wine Experience, Island Speedboat Tours, Hiking

We traveled in July 2016 and had an outstanding and flawless service experience with this travel agency.  We were a party of 4, two people in their 50’s and two people in their 20’s.

In the past, we have traveled with tour groups and have also used private tours.  I can say this tour far surpassed any of our previous experiences.

All the guides and drivers were courteous, timely and very accommodating to any need we had.  The hotels were extremely convenient to what we wanted to experience and luxurious at the same time.

We had a wonderful, one-of-a-kind wine experience that we never could have arranged on our own along with two private speedboat tours to the islands of our choice.

I gave him very little lead time to arrange our trip of 2 weeks and he met every wish I requested.

Our travel agency had excellent response time to every email and question I had.

We did not encounter one problem in our scheduled itinerary, everything was perfect as planned.  Truly, how often does that happen-LOL!

I would highly recommend this tour company for anyone wanting a to dream up a trip and have it all executed with excellent service.
