Travel Review: Luxury Croatia Family Vacation, Split, Dubrovnik, Elaphiti Islands, Blue Cave, Krka Waterfalls, Michelin Restaurant

We wanted to thank our Croatia travel company, and especially Matea, for all that they did for us to make this vacation perfect. We really had a wonderful time. We just completed 11 days; 5 days in Split and 5 days in Dubrovnik which was amazing. The whole family enjoyed it, all the trips were such fun, and we especially appreciated that the logistics were all so well planned. Absolutely nothing went wrong, all tours were on time, all drivers, all cars, everything was flawless!

The highlight was definitely the Elaphiti Island yacht trip which was really special, but all of the trips were fantastic. Matea was thoughtful in her planning and came to meet us one morning before a trip which was lovely. She was always on hand to connect with any small question.

We valued their strong attention to detail, their communication both before, during, and after, the high level of quality in the guides and tour operators, and the hotel choices. The hotels and locations were perfect.

We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Croatia Travel Review: Split, Trogir, Hvar, Krka, Dubrovnik, Elaphiti Islands, Private Tours, 10-Day Trip
Spectacular trip!  Zicasso provided three option for Croatian travel advisors and we chose this travel company, working directly with Antonia. The trip was originally planned for Sept 2020 and was postponed until Sept 2023. Totally worth the wait!  Antonia was so patient and planned the perfect Croatian holiday for us. We had private transfers who took such good care of us during our 10 days. Antonia planned excellent private tours of Split, Trogir, Krka, and Dubrovnik. Our hotels in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik were just what we wanted and provided impeccable service. Antonia’s recommendation of Bibich Winery, the Mali Ston private mussel and oyster experience, Elaphiti Island day long boat tour with a wonderful guide and the private Hvar history tour with our guide (a Peka lunch in Dol at Konoba Kokot) are all highlights. Really, what wasn’t a highlight!!!  Antonia greeted us in Split with a bottle of red wine and was so sweet. We are so thankful we worked with her and the travel agency to plan our perfect Croatian vacation. Honestly, we would not change a single moment of the trip.

With the help of the travel agency, we traveled from Zagreb, Croatia, cross-country by car through Bosnia with stops in Mostar and Medugorje on our way to Dubrovnik. Then, with friends, we came up the Dalmatian coast visiting Spilt, Trogir, Zadar then on to Plitvice Park and Slovenia. This travel company's arrangements were flawless and their in-country contacts extremely helpful.

Travel Review: Luxury Honeymoon in Croatia, Dubrovnik, Ston, Split, Trojir, Zagreb, Elefiti Islands, Plitvice Lakes National Park

Words simply do not effectively describe our REMARKABLE 10-day honeymoon in Croatia or our EXCEPTIONAL experience with this agent and this travel company!  Our agent and his company “nailed it” in every aspect…from first rate & interesting accommodations to his personal attention & assurance of an amazing time!  Our agent took the time to learn about us, and provided an itinerary well-matched to our interests. With fantastic tours of Dubrovnik, the Elafiti Islands, Ston & the private oyster/mussel farm in Malostonski Bay (where our guide personally prepared fresh oysters/mussels & buzara and shared with us his family’s homemade wine & rakija) to Hvar where we peacefully relaxed by the sea, traveled by private boat to visit the Blue & Green Caves and “took a dip” in the crystal clear Adriatic waters.  We were privileged to explore Hvar’s countryside, learn of the Plavac grape and finally settle-in for a fabulous wine-tasting & a paired food experience that one may likely never encounter outside of Croatia.  We also had similarly incredible experiences in Split, Trogir, Zagreb and Plitvice Lakes National Park, where the water was near luminescent.  Croatia is truly a hidden gem of the Mediterranean…with a magnificent coast line boasting endless spectacular sights, phenomenal wine and local cuisine, and friendly people.  We’ll be back!

A special thanks to our agent, our chauffeur,  our agent's talented staff, the knowledgeable tour guides and to our travel company.
