Your adventure through the Balkan Peninsula will begin with your arrival in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, where you will spend three nights. Your private tours will introduce you to the fabulous history and distinctive culture of the city and greater Bulgaria. You will also visit the remarkable Rila Monastery for insight into the religious history and architectural grandeur of the region. You will have one night in Plovdiv to discover the remains of the former Thracian trading center and one of the oldest towns in Europe.
