Paris – Finding Your Pace

No better ambassadors of the French culture and history exist better than Paris. For your inaugural day on this tour, the French capital will be yours to enjoy and explore. Upon your arrival at the airport, a private transfer will be waiting to whisk you effortlessly from the city outskirts to the beating heart of Paris and your luxurious accommodation. After you have had a chance to settle into your new accommodation, you will have the remainder of the day to explore the city at your leisure.

You can visit the Champs-Élysées and walk on a trail created in the 17th century by Louis XIV's gardener. The iconic 1.2-mile stretch from Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe is lined by some of the world's most expensive retail spaces and comes alive during cultural events like Bastille Day parades and the Tour de France finale. During the 2024 Summer Olympics, it also acted as a pathway for cycling, marathon, and race walking events adding another chapter to the boulevard's legacy.

France Review: Luxury Trip, Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon & Nice, Monte Carlo Ferrari Drive, Fine Dining, Wine Tours, Cooking Class
Our trip to France was absolutely memorable! We experienced Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon and Nice over the course of 2 weeks and each location was a unique mini-vacation on it's own. This travel team did a phenomenal job at selecting hotels that truly encapsulated the feel of the city. They also coordinated the transport (both by air and train) along with drivers at each destination that were all professional and courteous. The team's recommended excursions were also spot on. Personalized and private wine tours with wine experts in Bordeaux, Lyon and Nice, a cooking class in Paris and even a ride in a Ferrari when we did a day trip to Monte Carlo! I can't say how important it is to speak with the agency when creating an itinerary because its important that they really know how you want to spend your vacation. Communication was also phenomenal before and during the trip to help with anything. The mark of a great agency is being available and responsive during the trip and they nailed that part perfectly. The itinerary was clear, well documented with contact info at every step (if needed). Tour guides were all extremely knowledgeable and genuinely fun to be around too.

France Review, Paris, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Provence, Fine Dining & Wine/Champagne Tours, Hot Air Ballon Ride at Sunrise
Fantastic trip to France for 12 days. We went to Paris, The Loire Valley, Bordeaux and Provence. The hotels this tour company recommended were very nice boutique hotels in great locations. Traveling between cities were flawless with easy pickups by private drivers waiting for us at the train terminals. The went to 4 different wine/champagne tours in different areas of France. All welter very good but the tour with one guide in Provence was exceptional. The company gave great recommendations for restaurants in each of the areas. We celebrated my Wife’s birthday eating at a Famous Restaurant on the Eiffel Tower which was amazing. In Bordeaux we ate at a Michelin restaurant. Probably the best meal of our lives. Unforgettable. In the Loire Valley we took a hot air air ballon ride at sunrise. Stunning views.

Luxury France Vacation Review: Paris, Bordeaux Region, Nice, 8-Night Trip
Our travel agency's team did an amazing job of gathering the specific details for our trip to France and tailoring the itinerary exactly that way we wanted. Being able to visit several Chateaux in Bordeaux and having exquisite lunches were a major highlight of the Bordeaux region. The boutique hotel selection was top notch and added a very personal touch. In Nice our hotel check in was flawless without issue and the location was right on the water with a glorious view each morning with breakfast included. All transfers and tours were just want we wanted and the staff supporting us each step of the way was 5 star.

France Review: 16-Day Luxury Vacation, Dinard, Bordeaux Winery, Food & Sites
I gave them 5* although there a few misses that I think could have been avoided.   All The hotel choices were quite good, but the location of one of them was sort of in the middle of nowhere and quite a distance from the days events resulting in too much car time, so we improvised the schedule.   The 3 of the four guides were very good.  I would totally recommend two guides and our guide in Dinard.    One was not very good in Bordeaux.    Our winery visit in Bordeaux was spectacular.   On the last day we had a 4 hour + ride to Paris, which ended up being a 6+ hour car ride because of some laws about the driver having to take breaks - I think this could have been planned better by taking the TGV or something else.  (It all worked out fine but not the way you want to end a trip).  So I think this travel company could improve on the logistics a bit.  The food choices we all pretty darn good, some exceptional, one was not good at all.  I hope this helps.  This is our third time using Zicasso and your service works VERY well.    Thx!!  Steve & Pam T.

France Birthday Celebration Travel Review: Castle Picnic, Winery Tours, Bike Tour of Bordeaux, Local Cuisine and Dining
The trip was for my wife's birthday. Her comment was "the best vacation ever". The connections and drivers were perfect. Hotels amazing, the lunches booked by the travel company near the Chateau Chenonceau and winery were fabulous, the best meals of the trip. The bike tour guides through Bordeaux and the wineries ( our guide) and Castle picnic is exactly what my wife wanted for her birthday, it was the hit of the trip. We also had a bike tour and visited a cave winery in Loire Valley. I prefer red wines but I think this white wine tour was my favorite.

Travel Review: Birthday Trip to France, Lyon, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Paris, Champagne, Wine Tours, Fine Dining

After years of researching, planning and scheduling our own vacations, I decided that due to time constraints and the complexities associated with the trip we wanted to take, that we needed to reach out to a travel company to help us plan our trip to France. We found Zicasso online and completed a profile and were referred to this agency to plan our trip. Our travel planner was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and patient in asking questions to help guide the experience. After reviewing several iterations of the itinerary, we settled on a fabulous 10-day journey to Burgundy, Lyon, Bordeaux. Paris and Champagne. The travel team is highly professional and organized. After the itinerary was confirmed and deposits made, we worked with a travel company team member, who facilitated our trip details including reservations for hotels, transportation, tours and even making dinner reservations on our behalf. She was also available during the trip to take care of us.

Not having any other travel company experience to compare it to, I can only say that we found their service to be incredibly helpful and felt that we received value for the investment. We would definitely use them again.
