Luxury Greece Family Travel Review: Athens, Crete, Acropolis, Delphi, Olympia, Meteora, Kalavrita, Olympia, Mykonos, Santorini
Irene's Company and all her Staff are absolutely among the best in the travel industry. Irene puts in special touches such as meeting us at the Athens Airport upon our arrival and giving us some useful gifts such as linen bags and water bottles. She also provided tips for our leisure days to occupy time and provide restaurant suggestions. She does not steer the client incorrectly in any way. She asked us in Crete to keep an open mind to visiting Chania. This part of the trip as a result was one of our most memorable! We enjoyed Crete and Santorini the most. Mykonos trip was memorable for shopping and the windmills. Here, Irene arranged a special sunset dinner at a very nice restaurant for our anniversary without the kids.In Athens, our guide for Acropolis was excellent. Our two guides that took us on "best eats " and culture around Athens was very unique! Irene and her Staff planned an evening meal on top of the mountain overlooking acropolis with beautiful sunset views to celebrate 2 of the kids' belated graduation due to the pandemic.Rest of the mainland was an incredible experience with our driver. He was always professional, well dressed, and kind. As he had previously worked in architecture, etc, he was a fountain of knowledge of all Greek culture- history, food, etc. We could have never asked for a better driver to take the 6 of us for the next 6 days on the mainland. Our best guides were ones at Delphi and Olympia- but every site we went to was unique - Meteroa, Delphi, Kalavrita, Olympia, Agammenon's kingdom. All in all, definitely one of the best trips we have taken through 6 continents and 75 countries. We are definitely asking Irene for help planning our trip to Turkey when we are ready!Devang D

Sisters' Luxury Trip Review, Greece, Chania Olive Oil & Honey Production, Gorge Hike, Swimming in Amoudi Bay, Monastery, Athens

My sister and I decided to plan a trip to Greece and it was everything we wanted it to be. We worked with our travel designer from this company to plan a itinerary for our trip and she was attentive to all of our requests. She met us at the airport when we arrived in Athens to welcome us, review our trip plan, offer additional suggestions and answer questions and checked in to see how our trip was going. All of the hotels we stayed at during our trip had great customer service, they were clean and in convenient locations. The transfers between locations were smooth and we had no difficulties. The timing of our arrival to the locations allowed us to miss the large crowds.

Our trip included Athens, Meteora, Olympia, Delphi, Corinth, Santorini and Crete.

Our Athens tour guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the history and made our tour of the city, Acropolis and Acropolis Museum very enjoyable.

We then left on a 3 day private tour of the mainland, Meteora-monasteries, Delphi, Olympia and Corinth. Our tour guide was great.  He made sure that we met up with each of our guides, had everything we needed and took us to lunch and dinner at great restaurants that had delicious food and allowed us to experience Greek cuisine.

We then left for Santorini. As expected, it was beautiful. Our local tour guide made the day fun with is knowledge of the island, all of the great spots for great pictures and local wineries that did not have all the tourists.  Our itinerary allowed us enough free time to explore on our own, hike the Fira to Oia trail and spend time swimming and eating in Amoudi Bay. Our last night there we did a kayak tour where we were able to see the island in a different perspective. We swam at the white beach and watch the amazing sunset from the sea.

Our visit to Crete was wonderful. We had a short stay in Heraklion and able to tour the town and eat local food.  We got to explore the Minoan Palace and learn a lot of history from our tour guide and driver. The car ride was long to get to Chania, but we did get to break it up with a stop in Rethymnon.

Our excursions in Chania allowed us to have a real Cretan experience. We learned about olive oil and honey production and attended a cooking class. The locals we met during these experiences will be remembered for a life time and our tour guide made it a great day.  Our hike through the Samaria Gorge was breath taking. Our tour guide allowed us to go our pace and enjoy the scenery.

During our last day there, we took a semi private sail boat to Balos and Gramvousa. The weather was windy which made the sailing and snorkeling a little more interesting, but overall fun.

A trip of a lifetime!!!!!

Greece Luxury Anniversary Trip Review: Peloponnese Region, Crete Minoan Archaeological Sites, Athens Food Tour, Delphi, Nafpilon
My wife and I visited Greece for 17 days in September, 2019 to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The travel planner of this travel company organized our trip, which started in Athens, moved to a tour of the Peloponnesus region including Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nafplion, Olympia, and Delphi, and then finished with islands of Crete, Naxos, and Santorini. The trip was everything we dreamed of, and from the start, our planner proved to be an exceptional listener and advisor, and ultimately, the consummate planner, as every single detail came off perfectly. She knows Greece, and knows how to visit the country in a way that immerses you with the people and culture. She guided us to sites and activities that reflected our interests and helped us to avoid the crush of tourists and touristy spots. Her personal touch was felt throughout our planning and even more so during our travels, as she connected us with exceptional guides, locals, and even friends and family, who showed us wonderful hospitality. We could feel her presence each step along the way as it was evident this company had been checking in and confirming with each of our guides, drivers, and hotels. Our planner even provided us a burner phone for use during the trip (with her number on speed dial) and checked in on us occasionally to make sure everything was going well. With the hundreds of minutiae involved in planning and executing our trip, we expected a hiccup or two, but none were found. Thank you, planner and the whole travel company's staff!

Greece Trip Review: Athens, Nafplio, Meteora, Thessaloniki, Kourouta Beach, Local Cuisine, Scenery, 21-Night Trip

Our trip to mainland Greece, organized by Zicasso's tour agency, was the best luxury trip my husband and I have enjoyed to date. Every hotel and site tour guide was carefully selected for our needs and interests, and they were all outstanding! Our driver for the entire trip was warm, courteous, and highly professional. We saw all the sites we'd requested and a couple of fun surprises along the way.

We travelled from Athens to various spots in the Peloponnese, then through the lush plains of Thessaly to Meteora, and then, finally, Thessaloniki. The accommodations were superb, with special shout-outs to the hotels in Athens, Nafplio, and Thessaloniki. We spent our last night at the Athens airport hotel and were so glad we did. The suite was stunning and completely soundproof. The food during our trip was incredible (especially at the hotel roof restaurant in Thessaloniki) and traveling by car allowed us to fully appreciate the gorgeous mountain and sea views. The Greek people were warm and super-friendly. Nearly everyone spoke English.

When we arrived in Athens, our travel consultants met us at our centrally located, fabulous hotel with all the info we needed, as well as a Greek cell phone and lovely gifts. All instructions were clear and details perfectly arranged. We really can't exaggerate how wonderful this trip was and we'll definitely return to this company for our next trip to Greece. 10/10 stars, though they deserve an even higher rating.

Greece Family Travel Review: Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Athens, Delphi, Meteora, Jewish Heritage, Local Cuisine, Private Tours
Please look no further for the trip of your dreams.  This travel agency took care of every single detail.  I mean EVERY detail.  Irene and her team are incredible.  Our family traveled from Florida to Greece in April 2023.  We went to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Athens, Delphi, and Meteora.      Our family of 4 adults travelled in private luxury vehicles, spent our nights in private luxury villas, and boutique hotels, and private guided tours of the beautiful ancient ruins, cities, towns, and countryside villages.  We specifically requested to stay in the historic districts, and we were not disappointed with our accommodations.  Irene and her team looked after every small detail.       We were particularly interested in the Jewish Heritage of Greece and the Aegean Islands.  Irene arranged private tour guides who spoke very clear English, and who had knowledge of the Jewish Heritage of the places we visited.       Some of our favorite places and things were: Meteora:  to say amazing does this place no service.  It is just breathtaking and should be a world wonder.  Our tour guide had incredible and in-depth knowledge of the monasteries/nunneries.   She was very patient with us as there were very many stairs at all the Monasteries.  Although I am not Orthodox Christian in my beliefs, these structures sitting atop monoliths were impressive.  Chania, Crete:  This is a beautiful seaside city with a rich and ancient heritage.  The food was incredible, and the people friendly.  There is much to see and do, or just stroll along the promenade and restaurant hop.  While visiting Crete, Irene arranged for us to tour a Olive Oil Production and plantation.  The tour was so wonderful, don't miss out on trying the food at their little cafe.  Athens:  History, history, history.  If you love ancient history, Christian history, Greek mythological history, you will LOVE Athens!!!!!  So much to see and do!!!! You will not run out of ancient sites to tour.  If you are a museum lover, as I am, then do not miss the Acropolis Museum.  New, modern, and WOW!Lastly, I would be remiss not to give a special mention to some of the amazing team members with the travel agency who made our stay especially seamless: Thank you for everything.  Thank you to our guide for meeting us at the airport in Athens, making sure we were well cared for, and checking up on us throughout our trip. And to our driver, thank you for all the miles you drove us.  Teaching us all the history of your beautiful and ancient country.   You were always courteous, accommodating, and a real pleasure to spend so much time with.  It was obvious by your conversations with us how much you love your country and heritage.  It was such a pleasure to meet you.  Traveling with our family is always complicated, and the company helped us with all the bumps in the road.  We are forever grateful for our experience with this company and would recommend to anyone looking for a highly reputable company who delivers what they say they will.  Irene and her team are absolutely, hands-down, the best!

Review: Tour of Greece, Thessaloniki, Crete, Nafplion, Athens, Santroini, Corinth

Terrific itinerary, wonderful personal service

We spent two weeks in Greece, Thessaloniki, Crete, Nafplion (with stops at Corinth and Marathon), Athens and Santorini, all travel by air not by boat. Our travel agent arranged it all with ease including our need for scent free rooms and a fitness centre that opened at latest 6am, and had good equipment. The tours and tour guides in each place were top notch as were the hotels. We discovered some excellent Greek wines and some amazing food. In fact the chef at the hotel in Santorini was the number one up and coming chef in Greece. Our agent even checked us in to all of our flights, emailed the boarding passes to our hotels and had them printed and put in our rooms. I would highly recommend this company and this travel agent for anyone wishing a wonderful trip to Greece.
