Zicasso's travel specialist did an amazing job of selecting locations and properties in rural areas that perfectly suited me. I loved the tented camps and safari lodges, visiting rural villages and schools, kayaking, horseback riding, walking, and enjoying cultural activities.
I selected two resorts and they were everything I hoped they would be, with fabulous service and wonderful experiences. The travel agent selected four other hotels and they were everything I hoped for as well. I loved them all, but especially the one in Jawai Bandh, which may have been my favorite spot on the trip. The service was spectacular, with great leopard spotting, guides, and butlers.
I really wasn’t keen on the cities. I was sick in Delhi and stayed in my hotel, and quickly went through Jaipur. Two hours there was enough. Udaipur was the best of the three. I especially liked my hike there. The hotel in Udaipur was OK, but there were a lot of pigeons making a noise around the rooms.

This was the worst-organized trip we have ever experienced.
Bhutan on its own was superb — great guide, perfect organization, and itinerary.
However, Nepal was a disaster from the beginning. Although we did not book the flight from New York to Delhi, the travel agent was totally unaware of the visa requirements and told us to get a visa to India to be safe. We called the airline, and they reassured us it was not necessary to go to Kathmandu because we were staying in the transit zone.
The travel agent told us to get the visa to Nepal, which we applied for and only had to pay the fee. But when we told the person who picked us up that we had it, he insisted on getting it himself, and we waited one hour at Kathmandu airport for no reason after our long trip from New York.
I won’t go through minute details, but the worst event was when we got the visa to Bhutan last minute at the airport. The guide dropped us at the airport four hours before the flight, and when we finally checked in, we were told the visa was not valid because the passport I had did not match the information on the visa. The travel agent got the visa in January, and I sent in September a picture of my new passport, but he did not update it.
We called the guide, who answered that she could not reach anyone. I was able to find a picture of my old passport after one hour, and it saved us. There was a fee at arrival in Bhutan that we paid and were reimbursed.
jeremiah called and said that we did not inform him that it was a new passport and put the blame on us .we asked why the guide dropped us 4 hours before at the airport and he said he ll look into it . Basically he did not acknowledge any responsibility for anything. All he had to say was sorry we made mistakes .
We travel extensively, and this was the worst experience we have had.
We won’t use Zicasso again.

We appreciated the smooth logistics of our trip with Zicasso’s travel company. We had representatives meet us upon arrival at the airport, at each hotel, and upon departure from the airport to help ensure our check-in at each point was smooth. Our driver stayed with us for the duration of our trip and was friendly and prompt. We really enjoyed sightseeing in Jaipur and our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming.

I just wanted to share my amazing experience with Zicasso’s tour company! They coordinated my 60th birthday trip to India, taking me to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Mumbai. Zicasso’s travel specialist was incredibly attentive and responsive to all my inquiries, and the birthday celebration in Mumbai was epic—think 10-course meal! The tour guides were super-knowledgeable and added so much depth to the trip, making it fun and educational.
One suggestion for the travel company: consider incorporating visits to some of the more affluent and clean areas within the Golden Triangle. It would give tourists a contrast to the poverty and crowds in the main cities, and create a more well-rounded memory of India.

The hotels were okay. There were some minor inconveniences in a couple of them.
The guides were above average, with one being barely average.
The drivers were all good.
The staff who met and transported us in and out of the airport, and arranged the meet-up at the hotels, were excellent.
