Italy Trip Review: Venice, Naples, Sorrento, Rome, Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, Capri, Vatican City, Colosseum, Boat Ride, 10-Day Tour
We had a wonderful time in Italy.  We visited Venice, Naples, Sorrento, and Rome for 10 day trip with me and my wife.  We were a little nervous being in another country, but we were glad that we were able to contact our travel agent 24/7 if we needed to.  We were picked up at the airport and train stations and taken to our our hotels.  Our personal drivers were on time every time. They made sure we were on the right train and where we needed to be.   Everything went very smoothly.  We did have 5 tours scheduled but the one in Venice was canceled but at no fault of the company.  The other 4 tours were great. One group tour to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, one small group boat tour to Capri island and 2 private tours to Colosseum and Vatican in Rome.  Our tour guides were outstanding.  Very personable. Spoke good English and took great care that we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.   We stayed in 3 different hotels on our trip and everyone of them was top notch.  Especially our hotel in Sorrento with the ocean views on the hillside was fantastic.

Trip to Italy Review: Amalfi Coast, Alife, Pompeii, Rome, Vatican, Colosseum
I was happy with the service our travel planner provided. I would highly recommend our hotel in Amalfi.  The driver that took me to Alife and the driver that took me to Pompeii and the train station were also great and I am grateful for the company and information they provided.I would not recommend the hotel we stayed at in Rome. I did not get breakfast there. Both the air conditioning and the internet worked intermittently. The room was very ornate, but very small. This did not bother me, but it should be noted as a larger or claustrophobic person may have issues.I also think you should make travelers aware of the difficulties in getting to both of the hotels. Again, this was fine for me though a bit challenging with luggage, but would be extremely difficult if not impossible for someone with even mild disabilities. Several of my family members would not have been able to access either hotel, so perhaps I am more aware of accessibility than most. The driver who picked me up at the Napoli train station on the first day was across the street from the train station and it was lucky that I took note of a black van that looked out of place. There were many drivers right by where one exits from the trains and into the station who were holding name signs. The tour guides at the Vatican and the Colosseum did not speak English very well and I found it very hard to understand them. The guide for Pompeii was excellent.I am very satisfied overall with the trip and arrangements with the exception of the comments above.

Travel Review: Luxury Italy Vacation, Rome, Florence, Venice, Sorrento, Siena, Pisa, Isle of Capri

Outstanding trip to Italy!   We did the 3 major cities plus Sienna, Pisa, Sorrento and the Isle of Capri.  Hotels were wonderful, tours were excellent and everything was as good or better than advertised.  Very happy with the customer service, trip planning (without any hard work for me best of all), and the price.  Everything was well organized and ran smoothly.  I would happily book travel with with this agent and this Italy travel company again.

Travel Review: Luxury Italy Tour, Rome, Venice, Verona, Pisa, Florence, Chianti, Siena, Vineyard Tour, Wine Tasting, Cooking Class
Every aspect of our trip was taken care of. Our agent was always in contact by text to make sure everything was OK. We went to Venice (had a tour there and a day trip to Verona by train). From Venice took a train to Florence. We did a private tour of Florence by a very knowledgeable guide as well as an evening trip to Chianti for a vineyard tour with wine tasting. From Florence we had a private taxi take us to Pisa. The driver waited while we had a tour of Pisa. After Pisa the driver took us to Sienna. In Siena we had a Tuscan cooking class. From Siena we took a train to Rome and stayed at the beautiful Hotel there. We had a couple of great tours including the Vatican and Sistene Chapel on one day, and a Colosseum the next. We finished the day with a walking food tour. The next day we took a train to Naples. We were met at the train station by a guide and driver and we took a tour of Pompeii. After a delightful lunch at a small Pompeii vinyard we had a breif tour of Naples and we were dropped off at the train station for our trp back to Rome.We were met at each train station with a driver or guide who either took us on our tour or back to our hotel. Our flight from Amsterdam to Venice was late. When we landed and I took my phone off of airplane mode I already had a text from our agent letting me know that they were aware the filight was delayed and our ride would be waiting for us. Dealing with the travel company made our entire trip as stress free as possible. It was like having somebody in each city who had a tour guide friend that they fixed you up with. Guides were all very good.
