Italy Anniversary Travel Review: Rome, Venice, Florence, Vatican City, Colosseum, Forum, Cooking Class, Private Tours, 8-Day Trip
We can not express enough gratitude for all the travel agency did to make our first trip to Italy a dream come true!My husband and I visited the country for our 10 year wedding anniversary and selected tours planned the perfect vacation for us. Over 8 days we went from Rome, to Florence, to Venice, and back to Rome. The team at the agency took care of EVERYTHING fo us. From a private driver to transport us from airport to hotel and to and from train stations, to a personal guide and water taxi in Venice – she gave us a wonderful welcome and run down of what to do and where to go!Then we have the private walking tours! Our first tour was Vatican City. Our skip-the-line private Vatican guide and his passion and love for Rome and Vatican City came bursting through in the first 10 minutes. When we got to Florence, we spent 3 hours with another guide who's Florentine pride emanated throughout the entire tour. She was a wonderful story teller and we both learned SO much. When we came back to Rome to tour the eternal city, we were elated to see our guide awaiting us once again to guide us through the Colosseum and The Forum. By the end, we felt like we were being given a tour by an Italian family member. He is a true gem! of a human! Then there's the accommodations! We had beautiful boutique hotels throughout our stay! Our first stay in Rome was made extremely comfortable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Our hotel in Florence felt like we were actually immersed and living in the center of the city.In Venice, we were welcomed with a complimentary upgrade for our anniversary. We had a room overlooking a canal with a beautiful bottle of Venetian Prosecco awaiting us. I felt like a queen and never wanted to leave the room!Upon our arrival back to the eternal city we were upgraded to a junior suite for our anniversary. This room was on the corner and had views of The Forum Ruins directly from our room. We could even see a slice of the colosseum! It was absolutely breathtaking! We are already chatting about a return trip to southern Italy and when that day comes, this agency will be the first call. 100%!

Italy Family Trip Review: Rome, Naples, Florence, Venice, Vatican City, Colosseum, Murano, Burano, Cooking Class, Private Tours
We had a wonderful vacation to Italy. We chose this trip as a retirement trip for my mother and it was three of us on this trip (mother, father, and daughter). We traveled to Rome, Naples, Florence, and Venice. The private transportation from the airport to the hotel and the hotel to the airport at the end of our trip made things smooth and easy. It was lovely having a private tour guide for Vatican City and Colosseum, she was kind and informative and we had the same guide both days. I wish we could have had more time at Vatican City as it felt very rushed to do it all in 3 hours. The Rome cooking class was exceptional and I highly recommend it! The day trip to Naples was wonderful. We were also quite rushed and did not have any time at leisure after the tour in the city as we would have hoped. The guide in Naples was one of our favorites and we would highly recommend her! We also would highly recommend a day trip to Naples for anyone who loves food, as it is a great city for that. The trains between cities were easy to navigate and the business class was worth the extra cost. Florence was a nice city and would recommend at least two days of traveling in the countryside. Venice was also a gem and taking a day to go to the islands of Murano and Burano was worth it! In terms of our tour company, we would give them 4/5 stars. They did well to plan activities that we liked and listened to our interests in planning our trip. They seemed to be quite expensive for what we got from the experiences and most of the tour guides were rushed each day ending 1 hour early or more. There was some lack of communication and confusion about where to meet guides and obtain tickets such as the gondola ride and the company did not check in on us while we were in Italy unless we had questions. When we did have questions though they were always responsive.

Italy & Austria Vacation Review: Tirol, Rome, Venice, Innsbruck, Walking Tour, Cable Car Ride, Castles & Villages
Our family enjoyed a fantastic, well-planned trip that started in Rome, Italy and ended in Innsbruck, Austria. The accommodations in each location were perfect for our family of five; each unique and welcoming. This travel team was accessible24/7 for any questions and to verify pick-up and meeting points for private guided tours. Our planner arranged a private 2-3 hour introductory tour upon arrival to each of our destination cities to give us a "lay of the land", identify local, non-tourist spots to eat and enjoy a drink, as well as give us the local customs related to tipping, dining, and everyday greetings/pleasantries.Additionally, the Private Guided tours in Rome, Venice, and Innsbruck were paramount since they permitted us to "skip the que" at incredible sites like The Vatican, Coliseum, Gondala rides in Venice, St. Mark's Bascillica, etc.  The lines at some of these locations were greater than 3-hours and the group tour's were massive and the patrons appeared unsatisfied were as we got detailed historical information and bypassed the waits.I would recommend this travel team for anyone looking for an incredible, tailored experience in Italy and Tirol!!

Italy Anniversary Vacation Review: Rome, Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Uffizi Gallery, Vatican Tour

We did a 12 day trip that included Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Rome, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. It was a 30th anniversary trip for us. My brother and sister-in-law also travelled with us. It was our first trip to Italy and we wanted to make sure that we could enjoy our vacation without worrying about logistics, transportation, etc. And having never been in Italy, we needed guidance and recommendations for the right accommodations. Our travel agency met or exceeded all of our expectations. Our agents paid close attention to our wishes and carefully planned out the perfect itinerary. They did so while also honoring our budget. They put us in great hotels in the hearts of Venice, Rome and Florence. And we had spectacular views from our hotels in Tuscany and Sorrento. Great drivers and guides were arranged at every stop. In addition to private tours of traditional sites (Vatican, Coliseum, Uffizzi Gallery, St. Mark's Basilica, Pompeii), Our agents also arranged a one of kind wine-tasting and lunch at a small Tuscan farm and a special cooking class at a Michelin starred restaurant. Even with all of the activities, we still had plenty of free time to wander on our own or simply relax. Plus, our agents were always available by phone or e-mail both before and during the trip if we had any questions. They are incredibly responsive. And all of this cost about the same as a high quality group tour. We felt like we got the perfect 30th anniversary trip and that it was an excellent value. I highly recommend this company.

Review: Italy Family Vacation, Rome, Tuscany, Florence, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii, Pisa, Vatican Papal Mass

Our family of five just got back from the most wonderful vacation in Tuscany and Rome.  Our agent crafted a set of amazing experiences for our family from the private tour guides to Florence, Pisa and Lucca; a private wine tasting lunch at the Capannelle Winery and vineyards in Chianti; tickets to the Papal mass at the Vatican; to a tour beneath the church of San Clemente to see the excavations of a byzantine and then a Roman street neighborhood; a day excursion to the Amalfi coast to visit Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii; and more! Our agent and the guides found excellent restaurants from a simple salumeria where the locals ate to some high end restaurants.  The hotels were right in the center of Florence – on the piazza della Repubblica - and Rome – between the Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps.  Our agent was attentive to our plans and made excellent suggestions.  Everything went extremely smoothly.  All the guides drivers were very friendly, spoke English and were very knowledgeable about art, history and the local culture.  We saw so much every day because everything was so well planned.  Simply the best travel experience ever!
