We had a wonderful trip. "Tuscany in Winter" was my husband's idea to experience this beautiful part the world beating summer crowds. We visited the lovely ancient city of Siena the historic Florence and the Tuscany countryside for a few days in between. We were able to enjoy the galleries, restaurants and other popular sites pretty much on our own and were welcomed very warmly in cold weather by all.
Our guide and driver were very professional and pleasant. They were very concerned about all aspects of the responsibility of providing the very best service possible.

An excellent itinerary which gave us a very insight into Bologna and the Tuscany region, with a good balance of organised trips and relaxation time. All of the recommended tours were extremely worthwhile, giving us a view of Italy which we would not have discovered on our own. In addition, the knowledge and information imparted to us by our driver was the bedrock of the trip, very much enhancing the experience.
The reasons we have not awarded 5 stars was of our slight disappointment with our accommodations, along with some concerns we had with the travel agency and their administration prior to our trip.

A dream come true. Our travel specialist from this Italy travel agency did an exceptional job planning our trip. Once we landed in Rome we were on our way to a real adventure. Our villa in Tuscany was perfect and our trips to the villages, a winery, and Florence met or exceeded our expectations. Even though Rome was crowded our tours were easy to navigate because advance tickets were arranged. Our driver was very accommodating and took us to many out if the way places off the beaten track. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation

Italy Travel Review: Amalfi Coast, Isle of Capri, Florence,Tuscany and Rome
Our tour agent, did a superb job of helping us plan and put together an ideal itinerary that enabled us to savor the beauty, culture, food and wine of several amazing Italian regions. From the very start she listened to our desires and then made travel and accommodation suggestions that were sensitive to our budget and desire for a mix of structured and unstructured time in each region of Italy visited. The hotel accommodations she arranged for us were incredible with each room far exceeding our expectations. The locations of our hotels were ideal allowing us to explore on our own and take advantage of the great local authentic Italian eating establishments that were recommended to us.Our agent arranged personal private native Italian drivers and private tour guides at each location that were extremely friendly, passionate and highly experienced. Our planned tours and activities allowed us to have a relaxing vacation and exposure to a wonderful mix of the historical sites, natural beauty sites and the people of Italy. The private food and wine tours were incredible. Our trip ran smoothly and seamlessly with our agent communicating with us often to make sure we were having the dream vacation we had hoped for.

Having traveled and worked extensively in Northern Italy, we wanted to travel to Tuscany, Florence and the Amalfi coast.
I enlisted the assistance of Zicasso to find capable travel partners for our trip to Italy. We received 3 proposals and began working on the trip.
It became clear that this travel company was listening and finding options that met our needs and our budget.
We wanted to concentrate on some private sightseeing (with private drivers and tour guides), the usual great food in Italy and numerous winery visits.
Over several email and calls the trip was set and booked with our agent, who was listening, attentive to our requests and providing options to consider.
While I am not a fan of booking and paying ahead of time, especially for a luxury vacation, everything worked out magnificently!
Accommodations were better than the websites showed.
The restaurants we booked or that were recommended, were absolutely wonderful, without exception.
The private winery tastings were with owners or managers who knew the intimate details of the wine and their estate.
The logistics were seamless!!!! The drivers were on time, knowledgeable of the particular area or sight and very personable.
Trips to the train stations for longer distances between cities were prearranged and ticketed. They made sure we knew where to go in the stations and each train!
The guides arranged for our private tours were extremely knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and made each visit enlightening.
