Italy Trip Review: Rome, Florence, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican, Pompeii, Appian Way Bike Tour, Hiking
We had a wonderful trip exploring Rome, Florence, and Sorrento/Amalfi Coast. All the important details were taken care of, and we were able to relax, make memories, and explore this beautiful country. This travel company, and Rose in particular, was able to craft a wonderful trip after we corresponded and spoke about our ideal trip. Great responsiveness overall.

Italy Family Travel Review: Venice, Florence, Amalfi Coast, Rome, Path of the Gods Hike, St Clements Basilica Underground Tour
Our trip to Italy overall was wonderful. We felt we had the right amount of time in each city: Venice, Florence, Amalfi coast and finishing in Rome. The tours we took were all excellent with wonderful guides. We especially liked our guide in Rome. We love the small private tour groups as we feel we get much more insight into the places we travel outside the obvious tourist spots. Most trips I've been on have a few small hiccups and how they are managed matters. We were scheduled to do a lace making tour on Burano but our guide did not have this info and we did not get to see this island. While to be totally honest, my kids were fine missing the lace part, we were bummed to miss the colorful houses. I don't think I realized that the Amalfi coast was a cruise boat destination and on our arrival day the streets were jam packed with tourists which is something we overall try to avoid. The hotel was right on the main street and was very noisy. Not sure any of us slept much those two nights. In retrospect we would have not chosen Amalfi had we realized this. The Path of the Gods was a fantastic hike and we very much enjoyed that. We booked this trip last September and the single tour we as a family were most looking forward to was the underground Colosseum tour. I knew it had very limited spots available and I requested tickets literally 9 months early. We found out at 9pm the night before that we did not have underground tickets. I asked if we could try for the following day, knowing it was a long shot and was told our agent would get back to me "ASAP". We did not hear back for well over 24 hours and not until after 1am the following day that we could not do the tour the following day either. The last day in Rome we missed a 3rd planned tour to see the houses in Celian Hill because we did not have tickets as planned. My kids are 5th year latin students and they were quite disappointed to miss the special underground Rome sites that were saved for the end as a way to cap off our tour. The tours we did take were wonderful and the rest of the trip was lovely.

Italy Tour Review: Rome, Florence, Venice, Tuscany, Amalfi Coast, Pompeii

I love everything about Italy and wanted to give my husband an introductory sampling of why my love for Italy runs so deep. I worked closely with this travel company to design an elaborate and multifaceted itinerary that provided us with a grand tour of this amazing country across a 10 day excursion.  Our essential destinations included Rome, Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Pompeii and taste of Amalfi (Minori, Maiori, and Ravello). This travel agent took my vision and executed an incredible plan that whisked us around Italy with private drivers and first class train tickets and water taxis from one incredible place to the next. Not to mention the tour guides our agent handpicked for our journey were extremely knowledgeable and their love of Italy matched my own! Next on our Italy bucket list is visiting the Puglia region of Italy and I'll most certainly be going through this travel agent and his incredible team! Grazie mille!

Travel Review: Italy Honeymoon, Venice, Siena, Florence, Cinque Terre, Maiori, Rome, Wine Tasting, 14-Day Tour
We went to Italy for our honeymoon and it was absolutely incredible.  It was a 2 week trip that took us to Venice, Siena, Florence, Cinqueterre, Maiori (near Amalfi), and Rome.  We worked with this company and could not have been happier with our selection. Our trip planner was fantastic to work with and did a great job planning our trip.  We were originally skeptical about working with a travel agent as we thought we could plan it all ourselves, but we are so relieved that we decided to work with our trip planner.  It took absolutely all of the stress away from traveling as he took care of it all - from arranging private tours with really great tour guides to door to door transportation across the 6 hotels we stayed in throughout Italy.  He even arranged for several dinners and lunches.  Each time we changed hotels he arranged for a driver to meet us at the hotel to take us to the train station and as we got off each train another driver was waiting for us to take us to our new hotel.  He also provided all of the train tickets.  The greatest thing about working with our trip planner is that he is very responsive.  We had one day where we were worried that some bad weather might disrupt our travel plans, so we reached out to our trip planner via the App and he was able to quickly respond and let us know he would help us out with any changes we'd need to make if weather caused us to miss our original scheduled train.  He stayed in touch throughout the day to check in on us and confirm we were still on schedule.  It was very comforting knowing that our trip planner was so accessible if we needed help.  When a boat tour that our trip planner had arranged for us was cancelled due to rough surf, he refunded the cost of the tour to our credit card within 3 days of us getting back home.  We'd definitely recommend this company to anyone traveling to Italy and will use them again when we return!

Italy Vacation Review: Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Pompeii, Mount Etna, Winery Tour, 12-Day Trip

My husband and I have just returned from a 12-day trip to the Amalfi Coast and Sicily. The trip, planned with Zicasso’s travel company, met all of our expectations. They listened carefully to the types of travel experiences we enjoyed and delivered exactly what we wanted. The accommodations were very good. The guides and drivers were all prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly.

We especially enjoyed the visits to the towns on the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii when we stayed in Amalfi. In Sicily, the visits to the Valley of the Temples and the archeological sites were fascinating. The two wineries we visited were fun and the food and wine delicious. We also enjoyed our visit to Mt. Etna. Our guide was so much fun.

The trip was fantastic and this travel company exceeded our expectations. We visited Rome, Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Sorrento, stayed in 3 different Hotels in three different cities, and traveled between destinations by car, train, and ferry. And all of these arrangements were made by our agent flawlessly.
