Travel Review: Anniversary Vacation in Italy, Florence, Siena, Tuscany, History, Hiking, Cooking Lesson, Hiking

We had a wonderful trip. "Tuscany in Winter" was my husband's idea to experience this beautiful  part the world beating summer crowds. We visited the lovely ancient city of Siena the historic Florence and the Tuscany countryside for a few days in between. We were able to enjoy the galleries, restaurants and other popular sites pretty much on our own and were welcomed very warmly in cold weather by all.

Our guide and driver were very professional and pleasant. They were very concerned about all aspects of the responsibility of providing the very best service possible.

Travel Review: Luxury Italy Tour, Rome, Tuscany

Our agent and her staff did an excellent job setting up our trip to Tuscany and Rome. We loved every minute of it! Our drivers were on-time and polite, our tours guides were top-notch and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed our time in Siena staying at Hotel Villa Elda. This place was so relaxing and beautiful. The excellent service at Rose Garden Palace in Rome is notable as well. I highly recommend!

Italy Travel Agent Review: Siena, Umbria, Tuscany, Montechiello, Montefollicino, wine tour

This trip was absolutely wonderful. Alexandra, our travel advisor, listened to what we wanted from the very beginning and during the planning process was attuned to the type of travel experience that we were seeking. Wow, she really delivered in every way. The lodgings she selected were all first rate. The base locations were well selected based on our desire to travel regionally without the necessity of having to change locations too often. This allowed us to have the maximum time to visit each region with comfortable day trips followed by more leisurely evenings at each stop. Even the dining recommendations were stellar -- about 75% of the restaurants we visited were on her recommended list.  They were uniformly outstanding. Finally, we had a nice visit with her in Siena in the main piazza which allowed us to be a "face" on our multiple contacts that evolved during the planning process. Our group (4) can easily give her the 5 star rating that her services deserve. If we travel to Italy again, and I am sure that we will, we know where to return with the complete faith that all services will be provided professionally and with a keen insight into satisfying the travel experience that we are seeking.

Italy Vacation Review: Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Venice, Siena, Uffizi Gallery, Academy of Fine Arts, Winery Tours, Cooking Lesson

I worked with this agent to plan our first trip to Italy.  After the initial contact, we communicated by e-mail and telephone to plan exactly what we wanted.  Our trip included stops in Rome, Florence, Tuscany (Sinalunga) and Venice.  Every aspect of our trip was well planned - hotels, tour guides, train tickets and drivers and there were absolutely no problems.  The hotels were perfect and each of the tour guides was extremely knowledgeable, personable and also had a sense of humor in telling us the historical facts of whatever city we explored. At the conclusion of the tours, we felt as if we had made a new friend.   I can't imagine touring these historical cities without the benefit of the wonderful guides arranged by our agent.   Our agent's partner drove us through southern Tuscany with stops at a boutique winery and Castellina and our driver drove us through Valdorcia with stops in several small towns and lunch at an organic farm with excellent food and breathtaking views.  We had an opportunity to meet our agent in Siena where her company is based.  We were happy to meet with her to share our appreciation for her expert planning of each detail of our trip.

Overall, the trip could not have been better planned and executed.  I can't think of any way our trip could have been better.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip to Italy and hope that we are able to use their services again.
