Travel Review: Luxury Italy Vacation, Rome, Florence, Venice, Sorrento, Siena, Pisa, Isle of Capri

Outstanding trip to Italy!   We did the 3 major cities plus Sienna, Pisa, Sorrento and the Isle of Capri.  Hotels were wonderful, tours were excellent and everything was as good or better than advertised.  Very happy with the customer service, trip planning (without any hard work for me best of all), and the price.  Everything was well organized and ran smoothly.  I would happily book travel with with this agent and this Italy travel company again.

Italy Trip Review: Positano, Lake Como, Rome, Colosseum, Tuscany, Winery Visit
Have always had great results with Zicasso Luxury Tours in Greece and Scandinavia, but our trip to Italy was a little disappointing. We started a year in advance with Matthew, as we approached the start date tried to contact Matthew and learned he went on sabbatical. We were handed over to another associate and that is when the issues arose. Matthew was to deliver all of our travel documents 10 days in advance, we received 4 days in advance. Arrived in Rome, had 3 day free time, 4th day tour guide arrives on motor scooter and informs us due to holiday, cabs are booked so we would have to walk to the Colosseum, we said NO finally got a cab and took the 40 minute ride to the Colosseum. No way was it a short walk. Headed to Positano and was told to meet our Captain on the pier, there were 4 piers had no name of the boat or company. Hotel manager got involved and we finally reached the help desk at our travel company. (Help Desk was a 45 minute ordeal) went to the pier at 9, nobody knows what we are talking about, boat arrives at 9:30. Had a great trip. Started to look at agenda and all future boat trips/water taxis listed "meet at the pier", no company or boat name. So I contacted our travel agency and finally got some information. Requested with Matthew all First Class arrangements, hotels other than Positano and Lake Como were standard.Tour guides were 80% great 10% good, 10% poor. We were to hit 2 winery's and cheese tour in Tuscany, we hit one. Our travel company apologized and comped us a very nice meal in Milan.

Luxury Italy Travel Review: Sicily, Siracuse, Greek Temples & Restaurants, One Week Vacation
If you want the Italian trip of a lifetime, call this Italy travel company.  They find the best itinerary, hotels, restaurants, guides, and drivers.  Our trip to Sicily occurred just after the lockdown ended -- we were termed the first tourists by our guide.   He knew almost everything there was to know about Siracuse, our base in Sicily.  The visit to the temple on the south coast was exceptional.  It is one the finest Greek temple still existing and a major item on my bucket list.  As I wasn't walking well that day, our travel planner arranged for our driver to drive into the temple domain and park next to the edifice.  The driver told me that he had never before driven into the domain.  Obviously, our travel planner knows how to arrange things.  I also recommend our driver who knew the best restaurants in Siracuse.  We had so much of the best fish that I asked for veal one night.  Our driver arranged it, telling the restaurant, in advance, to buy some veal for us.  Getting things done, arranging the best, and satisfying their clients is the objective of this Italy travel company.  We recommend them highly.  Gerald & Josée

Review: Luxury Italy Tour, Rome, Venice, Florence, Siena, Positano, Pompeii

What an amazing experience.  From start to finish, our travel company was wonderful.  Our agent was on top of things from the very beginning and really "listened" to us to plan the trip of a lifetime.  The communication between us was wonderful and quick and he knew just what we were looking for.  Even when we made a few additions/changes, he was patient and attentive.  The trip was indescribable.  The hotels were beautiful and accommodating and the transfer drivers were all on time and professional.  We traveled to many different areas and had a number of transfers, train rides and hotels.  Each one was planned perfectly.  Our agent knew just when to leave some time for relaxing (i.e. shopping) and touring.  The tour guides were fantastic and knowledgeable and never looked at their watch once.  We had private tours throughout for just my husband and I and the guides were happy to show us their favorite gelato store along the way to the next site.  The personal attention was wonderful. I was able to contact our agent throughout the trip via whats app or email if I needed anything or wanted a restaurant suggestion.  He was always available and responsive.  I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to take the guesswork out of travel and get the most out of their Italian experience.  We traveled to Venice, Florence, Siena, Positano, Pompeii and Rome.  Amazing!
