Japan Vacation Review: Family Time, Temples, Historic Sites, 9 Nights

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Japan, our third family adventure with Zicasso. Our travel company provided excellent support throughout the planning process and outstanding resources for use during our trip. The accommodations in three cities were amazing and the mix of one-day guides, plus flexibility to wander and discover on our own, was ideal. Our entire experience was seamless. Thank you!

Japan Travel Review: Hiroshima, Kyoto, Tokyo, Arashiyama, Miyajima, Culture, Ryokan, Gardens, Tea Ceremony, 2 Weeks

This was our family's fourth trip using Zicasso's travel agents. We have never been disappointed with any of the agents they have recommended. Our travel company did an outstanding job from beginning to end for our two-week trip throughout Japan. They helped us prepare in advance for the trip, created an itinerary specific to our interests, selected perfect accommodations and tour guides, and simplified our travel by planning train routes.

We had a weather event that changed our initial plans, but our travel company reached out to us immediately and provided suggestions for alternatives before we even knew there was a problem. A bit later, they checked in with us to be sure our travel was secured.

Japan Vacation Review: Wildlife, Hot Springs, Culture, 12-Night Tour

Everything about the trip was well planned and executed. The Zicasso travel company communicated well throughout the process, from the initial inquiries through the end of the journey.

We did a mostly self-guided tour with a couple of days of arranged tour guides in the big cities. The tour guides were excellent. They tailored our sightseeing to our desires, while still providing a little history and cultural notes.

The travel agency arranged for our hotels and rail travel. Everything worked extremely well. The accommodations were very comfortable and check-in was seamless, despite the language difference. The rail schedule was very precise, as were the explanations about options for local travel from station to hotel and back. All the tickets were well organized, allowing us to methodically work through the itinerary without searching and wondering if we had the right tickets on hand.

Overall, we had a wonderful time in the marvelous country of Japan. The travel company really paid attention to our desires about the kind of trip we wanted. Although there were always some concerns about whether we would find the right rail platform (!), there was never any doubt about what we were looking for or the timetable. We didn't have a lot of pre-planned activities, but those that were planned were excellent.

Japan Vacation Review: 12-Night Trip

The whole process of planning was very smooth and Zicasso’s trip planner was very responsive and attentive to our questions and needs. The whole trip was very organized and we were very happy with all the information and details provided during the trip. The most amazing part of the planning was the stress-free transportation arrangement.

Our tour guides were also amazing. They were so flexible and knowledgeable about the areas we visited. We had a wonderful first trip to Japan and are looking forward to working with our trip planner and his Tokyo team again!
