This was a once in a lifetime trip thanks to this travel company and their recommendation to go to Tanzania! My family of four (my husband, sister and brother-in-law) originally wanted to go to S. Africa, but because we were planning to vacation around February and March, our travel planner, who planned our trip advised us to go to East Africa where we could also see the Great Migration and the birthing time of all the animals (it really was incredible how many babies we saw!). We agreed to go to Tanzania and then relax in Zanzibar and we are so happy we made the change. Words cannot describe the amazing experiences we had in the Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater, and Zanzibar and we owe it all to the great advises of this travel company. If there is anyone with any quelms about going to East Africa, I can say that we were all very well taken care of!! For example, there was one day my sister decided she couldn't join us for our last safari in the Serengeti because of a very severe tooth ache and she decided to spend the day in her tent at Elewana. Our main server checked up on her every hour to see if she needed anything, bringing her food and drinks to make sure she was confortable. She said she was so grateful for his care. Another example were the bush flights we took whose pilots were so understanding about our fears flying in small planes that they took extra time to fly around the clouds so we wouldn't experience any turbulence. And lastly, there was one night at Bushtop, the rain was pouring so hard that none of us wanted to fly the next morning so the manager offered to drive us to our next destination (which would have taken his driver hours to get us to our destination) but he knew we were freaking out about the flight. Fortunately, the clouds cleared and we didn't have to take him on his offer. Every person we encountered, went out of their way to make our trip memorable and we will never forget this! (By the way, we got to see the Big 5 and so much more!)

The trip was great. We got to see everything we wanted to see, including the big five and the migration of large herds of wildebeests and zebras.
The travel company was extremely helpful. The pre-trip prep was very thorough, but the true test came when I lost my cell phone in Mara towards the end and then our return flight was unexpectedly canceled. So I was stranded in Nairobi with my 12-year-old, having almost no means of communication with the rest of the world, and the rebooked flight was not until five days later.
The travel agency worked with local providers and put together a three-day side trip for us to go to Lake Nakuru to see rhinos, rebooked our local transportation, and made sure a local agent would be at the airport to help us when we departed — and they made all the arrangements within a day. They helped make a really stressful situation a lot easier to deal with.

We had a fantastic trip. There were a few hiccups, but they were minor and were resolved very quickly.
This was pretty much the trip we had envisioned coming to life! Zicasso's travel agents on the ground, assisting us, were on top of things and made the trip go super-smooth. Thanks!
The camps we stayed at were amazing, the food was fabulous at both camps, the hotel in Nairobi was very nice; all in all, a great trip. Thank you so much for putting together my bucket list, including the experience with elephants in Tsavo East National Park!
