As you learn about these fascinating ancient civilizations of Peru, you will also immerse yourself in the local culture and learn how Peruvians honor the customs and traditions of their ancestors today.
Your trip begins as you coast along the tarmac at Lima's International Airport. You can peer out at outstretched sunny beaches as they disappear into the horizon. The following morning, you will depart for Cusco, where a vibrant culture, lively music, and arts scene explodes. Textiles of every hue burst from open-aired markets where women sell skirts, bags, and sweaters fashioned from alpaca wool. During a private cooking class, you will fall in love with Cuso's local delicacy known as cuy. Then, it's all about uncovering the past as you stroll down Avenida del Sol to the opulent gold-leafed Sun Temple, or Qorikancha, first built during the 12th century. You will continue your discovery of grand Incan innovation as you venture beyond downtown Cusco to the ruins sites of Tambomachay and Saqsayhuaman.
Surely, the anticipation will build during the second half of your trip as you begin your way through the mystical Sacred Valley with undulating green hillsides and the swift river waters of the Urubamba. Our agent at this Peru travel company planned a 16 day private tour for my family through Southern Peru. We visited Lima, Paracas, Arequipa, Puno, Machu Picchu and Cusco. This trip was AMAZING!! Our agent intuitively knew exactly what kind of excursions, accommodations and guides we would be most pleased with. The entire trip went off without one problem - every connection, every tour, every hotel - perfect! I was so incredibly happy with every aspect of the trip. I would give this travel agency the highest recommendation possible! Thank you Zicasso for referring us to this travel company :)

In general, the trip was laid out and organized very well. We always had a pick up and drop off and they were always punctual and very helpful. All but 2 of the tours of were excellent. Our guides in Arequipa, Puno/Colca Canyon, Cusco/Sacred Valley, Lake Titicaca, Lima, Machu Picchu were all absolutely amazing. They made the tours and the sites very enjoyable, interesting, and they felt well worth the price paid. The remaining 2 left much to be desired. The tours were a bit boring and both men seemed to repeat themselves quite a bit. They were not very engaging at all. Also one guide and his driver, did something I've never seen before - they ordered food and arranged a pickup on the side of the road. I have taken many, many tours and have never see such a thing before. I understand the gentlemen need to eat, but this to me seemed very unprofessional. Not to mention, it's a little disconcerting that the person driving a very large tour bus is attempting teat a meal with a fork and knife at the same time.
Overall, the trip was excellent and I have very few complaints. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

We used this travel agency for a 16-day trip to Lima, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, the Amazon ecolodge, Rio De Janeiro, and Iguazu Falls. The advisor, Ezequiel, was in frequent and timely contact with us in planning all the particulars of the trip. It involved 11 flights, two train rides, and two boat trips, as well as five-star hotels, a private driver, and guides in all destinations (except the Amazon ecolodge, obviously).
All hotels, transfers, and guides were perfect. The hotels were beautiful, provided great service, the transfers were all punctual and flawless, with all the guides professional and wonderful. Traveling to South America was daunting for us, but the travel agency made the trip incredibly stress-free.
Due to the fault of American Airlines, our connection from Miami to Lima was missed. Our destination host (all clients of the travel agency get a destination host upon arrival, who stays in contact with you during your trip as needed) immediately booked us another flight from Lima to Cusco so our carefully planned itinerary remained intact. This despite it being midnight (his time) during our communication. He was most pleasant and helpful. They even helped arrange some refunds for unused services due to our missed connection from Miami that first day.
If planning luxury travel to South America (including Peru and Brazil), you cannot find a better company than this one. The staff were simply awesome and we could not have done this trip without them. Looking forward to traveling with them again to visit Argentina and Chile!

Our trip planned by this travel company could not have been more perfect. Our travel planner's recommendations for all of our tours worked out beautifully and we saw so much of the beautiful countryside as well as Lima. Every tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the area we were seeing. No one could know more than our guide about the Cusco area. I highly recommend them
