This morning, you will have a slow start so that you can get adjusted to your new surroundings and time zone. After having a few hours at your leisure, you will embark on a food tour. Your local guide will also be a native of Porto. During your tour, your guide will lead you to many of the city’s noteworthy eateries to sample many of the signature dishes of the country. This evening, you will partake in an art class that will teach you how to craft an authentic Azulejos tile.

After breakfast this morning, you will venture to the Douro Valley for a private wine tour. Instead of just touring the winery and vineyard, you will delve into the history of wine production in the region and have the chance to grape-stomp. After your tour, you will be able to explore the vineyard at your leisure before pausing for a tasting of some of the wines that are made onsite. Your evening will conclude with an outdoor picnic on the estate with your gracious host.

You will have an early morning today so that you can transfer to Vila Nova de Gaia. Here, you will visit an herb farm that specializes in growing aromatic herbs. These unique plants are said to be the hidden secrets that make the Portuguese cuisine so flavorful. After arriving at the farm, you will embark on your tour of the farm. After a brief lunch, you will learn how the herbs are grown in addition to having a tasting. At the end of the tour, you will be treated to a lovely meal. You will then be returned to your accommodation, where you will have the remainder of the evening to spend at your leisure.

After breakfast this morning, you will transfer to Lisbon. After settling in to your new surroundings, your guide will lead you on a private tour of the city. Your tour can travel by your preferred method of transportation, such as by foot, by car, or by trolly. Touring by car allows you to see much of the city, but a walking tour provides you with a much more intimate view of the city. This evening, you will have a private cooking course that will teach you how to make Pastel de Nata. Afterward, you will be able to indulge in the fruits of your labor.

After breakfast, you will venture to the countryside of Lisbon, where you will visit a working sheep farm. Here, you will be introduced to the shepherd, who will be your guide for an enlightening excursion. Your tour will teach you about the inner workings of the farm, and you will even get to sample the sheep’s milk. After having an interactive tour of the farm, you will return to Lisbon for the evening.

Today, you will have an early morning so that you can transfer to the coast of Ericeira. Upon your arrival, you will have an early morning surf session. If this is not for you, you can enjoy the morning in Lisbon before transferring. After your surf session, you settle in to your new surroundings, and you will have most of the day to relax and spend however you see fit. Your guide will also be on hand to help customize your day based on your interests.

After breakfast this morning, you will transfer to Serpa. Upon your arrival, you will settle in to your new accommodation before meeting your guide for a day of engagement and fun. Serpa is famous for its sheep’s milk cheese and other delicious offerings. During your tour, you will try the sheep’s milk cheese in addition to exploring much of the village. After your tour, you will have the rest of the day for some self-exploration. Your guide can even provide you with excellent dining recommendations.

After breakfast, you will travel to the coastal city of Lagos, which is a popular destination for residents and tourists due to its stunning beaches. After settling in to your accommodation, you will embark on a catamaran cruise along the Algarve coast. This sail will allow you some time for watersports, and if that is not your thing, then you can relax on deck with a glass of champagne. After your sailing excursion, you will have an afternoon walking tour of the city, during which you will visit some of the city’s most iconic sites. Your guide will provide you with dining recommendations so that you can truly enjoy your final evening in Portugal.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport so that you can connect with your departing flight.
