Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam Vacation Review: Elephant Sanctuary, Private Tours, Local Culture, Cuisine, Angkor Wat, Cu Chi Tunnels, Trekking, Biking, Boating, 10-Night Trip

Our Zicasso travel agent did a wonderful job taking our requests and styling a complex, detailed itinerary. Everything worked perfectly. The guides all communicated with each other and the drivers were always at the expected locations. All accommodations were awesome and well-located.

Beginning in Chiang Mai, Thailand, we visited Doi Inthanon National Park, the Doi Suthep mountain temple, and had an absolutely awesome time visiting with elephants at the elephant sanctuary, among other things. We even got to play with a two-week-old elephant. All our dining recommendations were awesome and we particularly enjoyed our time with the guides.

Next, we flew to Krabi for unforgettable views and relaxing beach time. Again, the resort was awesome. We even went mountain climbing on Railay Beach. My son got engaged at the New Year's gala at our hotel, which was spectacular; an unbelievable stay. We particularly enjoyed our time with the guide!

Next, we finished in Bangkok, where the highlight was riding in the tuk-tuks and doing a city food tour. Our guide was so awesome and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, eight of the 10 of us then flew home, while my wife and I continued to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Our guide was such a good travel companion and we left Cambodia with a true knowledge of Cambodian life/history/temples. He was very forthcoming about his life growing up under the Khmer Rouge. Although a long day, the temple tour was unbelievable, culminating in Angkor Wat. Our hotel was awesome and blocks from the nightlife on Pub Street. It was such a great stay.

Next, we flew to Saigon. We were met by our guide, who noticed we were hungry and immediately stopped at a local street food vendor for our first foray into bun bo. It was so good. The mix of history, countryside visits, and city tours with our guide was awesome and she even left us with a customized pictorial of our visit. The other excursion that needs mention is the Vespa city and food tour. Our main guide was delightful, giving us a true taste of Saigon culture and food. The drivers were so great.  This tour finished with a surprise visit to a local bar/club, where we had front-row seats to an awesome Latin band for a nightcap. It was truly unforgettable. Also, we cannot forget our visit to the Cu Chi tunnels, where our guide did a great job educating and touring us through this unbelievable history.

Then, we flew to Hanoi to another awesome location. Highlights in Hanoi would be visiting the Hoa Lo prison, having dinner in a local family's home, and especially the Minsk backstreet tour. Our tour drivers were so awesome. This excursion really gave us a feel for the city/backstreets, as well as an idea of the frightening life of riding a motorbike through the city and back alleys of Hanoi. It was truly unforgettable. This tour finished with my knees about a foot away from the speeding train at Hanoi train station, another can't-miss site!

Next, we visited Ninh Binh for trekking, biking, and bamboo boating. The scenery was awesome and it was definitely a nice break from the busy city.

The trip finished with a two-night, three-day cruise on Hạ Long Bay. The scenery was unbelievable and the staff were excellent; so attentive and informative.

This trip truly was spectacular and we are so happy that Zicasso connected us with our agent to make all of this happen. We couldn't be happier with the entire trip!

Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam Luxury Vacation Review: Angkor Wat, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, 18-Day Tour

Oh, my, Zicasso's tour operator organized our best trip ever! We are two couples who have been traveling extensively since we retired. Our 18 days in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand were flawless and amazing!

Our travel agent organized six flights and fast-tracked us through every airport. We were met every step of the way. All of our tour guides were local, personable, knowledgeable, and helped us feel like we were seeing the “real” country. And how he was able to book us in six different five-star hotels, each one more beautiful than the next, for the price we paid, was unbelievable.

All of the activities he suggested and organized were spot-on, from the hectic rickshaw ride in Hanoi to the waterfall hike in Chiang Mai to the full-day, private boat/snorkeling trip to the Phi Phi islands in Thailand. I could go on and on.

We loved that everything was private for the four of us. I can’t recommend this company strongly enough!

Thailand Vacation Review: Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Phang Nga Bay, Lantern Festival, Elephant Sanctuary, Sea Caves
We had a fabulous time on our journey through Thailand. Our trip was very well planned, tour guides were excellent, and questions/issues were responded to in a timely manner. With Covid interruptions, the third time scheduling was the charm! All throughout the multiple times the trip was scheduled, the tour operator was in constant contact with us. My initial goal was to attend the lantern festival in Chiang Mai, so everything was planned around the dates for that event. We started in Bangkok, then continued to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and ended in Phuket. We enjoyed each and every aspect of our trip.

Thailand Luxury Travel Review: Bangkok, Siem Reap, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Phra Nang Bay, Food Tours, Culture, History, 2-Week Trip
Wow, what a trip!  What an adventure!  We cannot say enough good things about the travel agency, Lenny and his team. From the very start of our travels, the team was on hand, catering to our every need and staying one step ahead of us.  We were greeted at airports, bustled through customs and baggage, driven by expert drivers to our beautiful accommodations and then met each day by knowledgeable and fun tour guides taking us to the top tourist spots as well as the little known, hidden gems that most non-locals would not know about. With the travel company on the ground, we were able to enjoy our days, immersing ourselves in the culture, history, food, nature and beautiful sites of Thailand, Siem Reap (Angkor Wat), Chiang Mai and finally Phuket. We loved experiencing all the must-sees and at the same time, having local guides at each destination that could take us to more remote, lesser-known destinations, and fill us in on the local flavor, customs, current and recent history of the people, including government, religion, economic situation, traditions and even some of their family backgrounds. Very warm and personal, yet professional at the same time. Not to be missed were the various food tours and tastings in Bangkok, at the floating market south of Bangkok, and in Siem Reap. And learning about the local hill tribes and Lanna cultures, going to the highest point in Thailand, bathing the elephants, and kayaking around the caves in Phra Nang Bay. Did we mention the spectacular Wats everywhere?  Wish we were still there, just anticipating our next day's adventures, with the travel agency managing every detail in the background.  Thank you Lenny, and the rest of the team and their on-the-ground guides for an absolutely perfect vacation!

Thailand Review: Luxury 2-Week Tour, Bangkok, Phuket, Lopburi, Phang Nga Bay, Chiang Mai, Wildlife, Boat Tours, Markets

We are always looking for a local travel agency to book a tailor-made tour. 6 persons (2 adults, 4 kids 5-16 years old). So I posted our ideas and wishes and we got a response from the travel company. We exchanged many emails and ideas to make the tour as we wanted it to be, added with all the goodies and insight knowledge from the travel planner. We covered Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket and for all the guides we used, it seemed that the travel planner handpicked them. They gave information when wanted and stayed discreetly in the background if not needed. The guides were also very important for visits at very crowded sites. They always managed to make our waiting time very short and to skip the big lines and crowds of tourists.

When something went not like plan, he immediately reacted, helped and solved the problem. Also for questions, he was always there to help. So far I really can say the travel team is the best travel agent/company we ever had. – And we used many, from “every tourist” to luxury travel agent companies.

We would use the travel company again. We most probably will in the closer future.

Travel Review: Luxury Trip to Thailand, Bangkok, Phuket, Phi Phi Islands, Food Tour, Snorkeling

My husband and I really enjoyed our trip to Thailand organized by this travel company. Our agent was very patient with planning as my husband and I were pretty last minute with everything. We stayed in great hotels in Bangkok and Phuket. Both hotels included a fantastic buffet breakfast with the additional option of ordering specific items from a menu. Each hotel also prepared breakfast boxes for us when we had excursions that left before breakfast started at the hotel. The tours he planned in Bangkok had very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Our guide was so funny and helped us capture some great cellphone pics. The food tour has me longing for Thai street food, especially that sweet chicken! Our agent was also available to give us info on other things we could explore while in the city. In Phuket we took the early morning tour to the Phi Phi islands and had a lovely time.  Our hotel was able to help us arrange time with a tailor so we could get clothes made. All of our flights and transfers were seamless. I highly recommend using this travel company, especially this travel agent, if you plan to go to Thailand.
