The Zicasso travel agent was amazing throughout the planning and execution of the trip. He has spent significant time in the area where we traveled, so we got a local's perspective on activities, restaurants, and lodging. He remained with us by phone and text the entire time we were traveling, so we knew we had backup if anything went wrong. Of course, nothing did go wrong, but it was awesome to know he was there.

We had some unusual requirements for the trip, but our agent was able to deliver everything we wanted and more. It was very personalized at every step. Also, with his military and travel background, he was a very interesting guy to talk to. I would strongly recommend him to anyone interested in seeing the best of Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.

I truly value the Zicasso experience and received two excellent proposals from local travel agents. We decided to go with our agent and his company for several reasons. His proposal was great from the start. His communication was excellent, responding patiently to my many emails. He was organized and knowledgeable. His proposals and final itinerary included everything we could have needed. He anticipated all of our questions. He agreed to make changes and suggest options based on our requests.

Once we arrived in Europe, every aspect of the trip went smoothly. Our driver/guide met us at the Venice airport and shepherded us through to Slovenia and all the way down through Croatia. We stayed at six hotels and I'd say five of the six were really great. The sixth was good and served us well, though it was possibly less impressive than the others. We worked with five local guides, all chosen by our agent and his company, and each brought a local and knowledgeable perspective.

During the trip, I felt like our agent and driver each took a personal interest in our group. They did whatever was needed to deal with bad weather. They made sure that one member of our small group was able to celebrate her birthday. They listened to us when we had any questions.

Overall, Zicasso’s travel company did a very nice job of planning our trip and they were great in supporting us while on the trip.

The hotels were great. We especially loved that they were in the best locations, where we could walk to everything.

Everything was pretty well coordinated and the tour guides, boat rides, etc, were generally very good.

I can't say enough amazing things about working with Zicasso's travel partners! They met and exceeded all of our expectations as they helped my wife and I plan our dream honeymoon to London and Croatia in June. They were there every step of the way and left no stone unturned regarding coordination, communication, and execution. From the beginning, their team asked thoughtful and in-depth questions to really learn about the things we would like to do, while giving their honest opinion on any idea we had. All of their third-party travel partners, who assisted us along the way in each location, were also amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning their next trip, as we plan to use them for all future travel. Thank you!

The Zicasso travel company listened to where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. From day one, everything went as planned. Every driver and guide was there on time and was extremely knowledgeable. All of the representatives spoke English and made valuable recommendations.

I do want to point out that the best guide was the one in Belgrade. He truly was an encyclopedia of information. We will definitely be returning and will ask that he be assigned to us. I would recommend, and already have, our travel company to anyone looking to go to Croatia and Serbia. It was the best vacation ever!! Thank you.

I was impressed with the caliber of the tour guides, especially our guide on the first full day. We spent six hours with her, and she was a font of great information and background. She showed us everything we requested and when she found out I was fretting about our train trip to Amsterdam, she brought us over to the train station and showed us how to find the train, the car number, and seat numbers. It greatly relieved my fears. We also took the subway twice with her.

The trip to Potsdam and Sanssouci Palace was a great day, with a wonderful guide and driver. I was highly impressed.

Our trip was wonderful! It was nicely planned and executed by Zicasso’s tour company. Our agent was very reliable, very available, and honest. I felt cared for. She understood that this was the first trip we'd taken since the pandemic and, with us, created an itinerary that allowed sufficient time to do the things we wanted to do. The app, which we resisted at first, was actually very reliable and extremely helpful each day. We came home a few days ago and are already thinking about where we want to go on our next trip with our travel company.

We had a 9 night tour of Budapest - Vienna - Salzburg - Prague, for which we paid $12,500. With the exception of the Salzburg portion of the trip, we had excellent guides and were fully pleased with the tours we took. For the Vienna to Salzburg portion of our trip through the Wachau Valley, we did not receive the guided tour with a Driver-Guide, but instead had a driver only, which was a disappointment, as the driver was not qualified and did not provide the kind of service a guide would have.

Our travel agent provided a refund for our missing out on this experience, and we were grateful for that. It was unclear who was responsible for this mistake, but it obviously should not have happened - though we received the funds in return, we lost that day and the experience it might have brought us.

We found the hotels in Budapest, Vienna and Salzburg to be excellent hotels. The hotel in Prague was, however, a disappointment. The room was clean and well cared for, but the bathroom was very small and there was no elevator to our floor. The hotel provided no complimentary water, as all other hotels did. The breakfast was OK, but unlike the other hotels, there was no food cooked to order available. The entrance to the hotel was flanked by 2 rollaway garbage cans that were picked up at 6 am each day, which wasn't an especially nice way to be awakened. Moreover, one of the nights that we returned to the room, there was a homeless gentleman who was going through the garbage, which was concerning, as we had to enter the door alone. There was no one at the reception desk in the evening, nor a bellman or other employee in that building. When we pointed this out to our agent, when he kindly met with us, his response was that this hotel received a 9.1 rating on bookings.com, so it was acceptable for him. We respectfully disagree on its suitability, for the reasons outlined above.

Finally, we believe that for what we received for our approximately $1,400 per night, the tour was overpriced. We had no meals provided besides the breakfasts each morning and a food tour one day in Vienna. While the hotels, with the exception of the first hotel, were nice, they were not the quality we would have expected for such a daily price.

We did not find our travel company to respond consistently through WhatsApp, but when we used the email that routed through Zicasso, our agents were responsive. When we spoke to our agent's assistant by phone and when we met with our main agent at the end of the trip, we ended up in verbal disagreements that could have been handled with better customer service. I would not characterize the interactions as customer friendly.

Overall, we enjoyed most of this trip and were glad we made the journey to those great cities. I would not recommend our travel company.

We have used Zicasso - associated tour companies for 5 vacations besides this one, and all the other operators were amazing, so this appears to be an unusual circumstance.
