This was the trip of a lifetime!

For nearly 50 years, my mom has dreamed about attending the Salzburg Music Festival, and Zicasso’s travel company helped make it happen.

I started working with our agent about six months before the trip began to allow us time to prioritize securing tickets for the festival (very hard to do), then built the activities in Italy and Germany around that. Communicating with our agent once on the phone and then via email was very easy and the program turnarounds happened quickly, reflecting our adjustments. We finalized a two-week trip through Milan, Innsbruck, Salzburg, and Munich, with day trips to surrounding areas. It was fantastic!

On the trip, our personal guide went above and beyond in terms of driving, helping to attend to logistics, and working through oddball travel delays (not on our doing), all with a fantastically positive attitude. I would certainly recommend our guide!

Zicasso’s trip planner was amazing to work with. From our first phone conversation, I could tell he really listened to what my husband and I enjoy when traveling and put together an amazing itinerary. He was super-helpful throughout the trip and when we had questions and wanted to make a last-minute change.

The trip itself was an absolute dream. All three hotels he booked were perfect and the tours were outstanding.

She provided invaluable insight into what we may enjoy based on the communication we had going back and forth on the phone, as well as through emails. Everything exceeded our expectations.

All the drivers and guides for our various tours and excursions were top-notch, professional, and fun. Everything ran like clockwork and there was never a time where we were concerned we were not going to make it on time or that we didn’t have what we needed. All of it was handled by our agent and we did not have to worry about a thing.

We requested downtime in each of the cities we visited so we could explore on our own and take in the culture. She provided great suggestions for each place. All of our accommodations were top-notch as well.

Our agent provided us with a detailed itinerary, including all the meticulous details about traveling in Croatia, such as the currency accepted, appropriate amounts to tip at various places, voltage/outlet information, ways to travel when there wasn’t transport booked, etc. She thought of everything. She even took time to visit us in person at our hotel before we started one of the private walking tours, which I thought was such a personal touch.

This travel company provided a great experience for our family. We had wanted to see Croatia for the past few years, but were intimidated to plan it on our own. I worked with an agent who made regular phone calls with me and listened to what we wanted. She planned a beautiful trip for us.

We had private transfers throughout our trip and the drivers were timely, helpful and friendly, and spoke perfect English.

The hotels she booked were modern and charming, and having an extra room for our teenage son worked well.

We traveled into Dubrovnik, visited several islands, and ended up in Split. The pace of our trip was fantastic.

Every guide was knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. We had private tours with just our family. The boat tour from Split to some islands nearby was decadent. We loved that day. We also did an e-bike tour on the island of Hvar, which was a special highlight of the vacation. This tour group was fantastic.

Our agent and I were able to meet up in Split and speak in person. She brought us a bottle of Croatian wine to enjoy on our trip. We could not have been more pleased with all of the accommodations, tours, drivers, guides, and hotel experiences. It was perfect.

We were matched with this Zicasso travel company to assist us with the planning of our trip to Croatia. The travel agent contacted us promptly to set up a Zoom meeting to discuss options as to where to go, where to stay, activities, and overall intent for the trip – touring, relaxation, physical activities. After we narrowed down the cities to visit based on the number of days we had, she provided a comprehensive proposal, suggesting hotels, tours, activities, and restaurants. We exchanged emails and had additional calls to tailor the proposal until it was exactly what we wanted. The travel company also provided our full itinerary, with all required ferry tickets or other items, in an easy-to-use app. Our agent was also available via email, text, and phone to assist with any issue that arose or to offer additional suggestions. We had an amazing time in Croatia and cannot wait to return to visit more of the beautiful country.
