This was the first time I'd used a travel agency and it was money well spent! There is so much to do in Iceland and I felt overwhelmed when trying to plan myself.
Providing the agency with our budget and being able to not stress about planning was amazing! Our week-long trip was perfectly smooth and we were able to see and do so much!
The last day of the trip was my favorite, when we did an extreme lava cave tour (totally wouldn’t have picked this on my own) and saw the Northern Lights in all their glory from a yacht!
We would definitely recommend Zicasso’s agency and when I plan my next trip, I will see if they can assist me again.

I can't say enough amazing things about working with Zicasso's travel partners! They met and exceeded all of our expectations as they helped my wife and I plan our dream honeymoon to London and Croatia in June. They were there every step of the way and left no stone unturned regarding coordination, communication, and execution. From the beginning, their team asked thoughtful and in-depth questions to really learn about the things we would like to do, while giving their honest opinion on any idea we had. All of their third-party travel partners, who assisted us along the way in each location, were also amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning their next trip, as we plan to use them for all future travel. Thank you!

Zicasso’s travel agent did an outstanding job of working with us to set up our beautiful Iceland travels. We did not have a complete idea of what we wanted to do in Iceland, but after several back and forths with our agent, we came up with our itinerary.
He said a self-drive trip would be quite easy with the way he was going to arrange it. He was absolutely correct. We were given a detailed itinerary for every day, with suggested sites to visit, when to visit them, and how long to spend there. Additionally, each day we had a physical activity that lasted from one to three hours. Everything was optional. It was up to us to decide whether to see the sights he suggested or to pass on them, depending upon our mood. At the end of the day, we stopped at every site he recommended.
Our tour was mainly in the south, from Diamond Beach in the east up to a peninsula in the northwest. Our activities, which included snowmobiling on a glacier, an ATV ride on the beach, hiking on a glacier, exploring a lava cave, horseback riding on the beach, and doing a Zodiac boat ride in a lagoon filled with icebergs, were all delightful. Since we had taken an overnight flight from the USA, our agent suggested we do the 30-minute ride from the airport to the Blue Lagoon to refresh ourselves. That was really nice.
Our agent was readily available to answer our questions, whether we were still in the United States or had arrived in Iceland. We shall recommend him to all of our friends and hopefully we will be able to return to Iceland and use Jonathan‘s services for another set of travels.

I had the pleasure of having Harpa as my travel specialist. This was my very first solo international trip and I was extremely happy with Harpa's knowledge of Iceland. She designed the perfect trip. I explained to her my interests and the things I wanted to do. Harpa was very attentive to all my questions and concerns. I really appreciated her checking in on me while I was there. I couldn't have done this trip without Harpa.

We had a great experience with Zicasso’s travel agency in organizing the trip to Iceland. Our agent even helped us book a last-minute helicopter ride over the volcano that was erupting. It was an absolutely amazing and unique experience. I also appreciated wise advice during planning when I wanted to do activities not appropriate for summer weather (which I did not realize).
All aspects of the trip were seamless. Everyone and every activity was on time and fun. The travel app was great, having all the details of the itinerary, as well as guidance on clothing, restaurants, etc. We highly recommend our travel company to anyone looking to visit Iceland.

We had a great experience, given we were a party of six from different regions of the US, all trying to get to one place. Despite some logistical challenges and quite a bit of back and forth with our Zicasso travel agent about which sites and events we wanted to do during our stay, he was more than gracious and patient as we finalized our itinerary.
Both of our accommodations were comfortable. There were quite a lot of bugs in one of the lodges since it was in the farm country of Iceland, but it wasn't problematic. Our only note would be to invest in some fly swatters.
All of the spots we went to with our guide were beyond gorgeous. Our photos of the landscape, canyons, waterfalls, glaciers, and rivers and streams do not do the sites justice. All the more reason to book a trip with our travel company and see for yourself!!
Our guide treated us more like extended family than clients, even going so far as to share a meal with us at our lodge. He basically took the lead in preparing it. It didn't hurt matters that he was a trained chef.
Overall we had a 13/10 experience.
By the time we returned to the States, we were all pleasantly exhausted. In a short week, we visited the Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon; participated in Reykjavík Pride and attended the parade; went shopping and ate delicious food in Reykjavík; and traveled to the South Coast to see waterfalls, hike across rivers and streams into canyons, hike to the summit of hillsides for vast valley views, hang out on a bluff by the black-sand beach and see puffins, and walk along the beach. It was a full-slate adventure that we hope to continue when we eventually return to Iceland!

I will discuss the experience in phases. The experience itself was overall a five, but only due to the service provided once there.
Booking and presale: Communication was great. I worked with Kjartan directly and he provided lots of information. Pricing came quickly and there were reminders to book due to things selling out.
Once booked, communication slowed to a crawl. We did not get a complete itinerary until a day before we left. Part of this delay was because we were waiting on a cancellation to book our final hotel, but it was stressful. I was told, "Don't worry, I have it taken care of", which held zero weight when I hadn't met the person in person. I asked direct questions that were not answered directly for days to a week. I feared making the final payment, feeling like we may have been scammed with our down payment. The only thing that made me feel secure was that it was through Zicasso and they would back their agents/tours. I was given the WhatsApp of our tour guide and information about what happens at pick-up only after I asked for it. Ahhhh!
Arrival: In a complete turn of events, the rest of the trip was bliss. Our guide and Kjartan showed us all the majestic beauty of Iceland. They accommodated every request and suggested things when we were noncommittal. Our guide became a part of our family on the trip. We sang songs, went out to dinner, and took endless photos and videos together. She could not have been more kind, welcoming, and gracious. Our three-year-old son fell madly in love with her and she and him created a special bond. Our tour could not have been better, with times being booked and times of rest. We always felt like our guide would take care of us. I could not be more thankful for her.
Overall: I would highly recommend this travel company to friends/family, but push for what you need prior to the visit.
