The travel agency that we used through Zicasso planned a first rate experience for our trip to Italy. Everything went smoothly - drivers, prepaid museum vouchers, and excellent tour guides at every stop. Communication was wonderful at each step of the planning process. I would definitely use Zicasso again for our next vacation.

Zicasso’s travel company planned an outstanding trip. From the tours and excursions to the transfers and accommodations, the trip was excellent, a great balance of activity and education for our family of four.

We were delayed getting into Milan, but the driver was updated, so we had no challenges getting to our hotel.

Zicasso’s travel company was excellent, starting with the first contact with our travel agent to the finish of our seven-night visit to northern Italy. The resources available were outstanding, beginning with a video call with the expert in Milan to start the Lake Garda itinerary, followed by day-to-day operational contact with our travel agent and staff while preparing for the trip.

Upon recommendation from our travel company, we included Bolzano and a tour of the Dolomites, and ended the trip in the lovely city of Verona. They delivered on all of our wishes – excellent accommodations in town centers that were convenient for walking, timely transportation and touring, and top-level communication throughout the planning and execution.

Malcesine in Lake Garda was spectacular, with a ferry service to Limone and other spots, which added to the appeal of the lake. The hotel in the heart of Malcesine offered excellent services and cleanliness, and a restaurant on site that offered the best breakfast and meals throughout the day. It was obvious this was one of the best restaurants considering the full tables throughout the day and night.

The hotel in Bolzano offered first-class accommodations, with a unique design in local South Tyrol wood throughout, outstanding staff, delicious breakfast, and a short walk to the Ötzi iceman museum, shopping, and restaurants. Our departure to the train back to Verona was a close call due to a taxi delay, but the hotel was ready with keys in hand to drive us there if necessary!

The last two nights in Verona immersed us in Italian culture, beginning with unique accommodations in a 1,000-year-old building with beautiful wood finishes. The convenient location made it easy to have a great meal, cappuccino at the piazza, and attend a food and wine tour. An agent from our travel company helped us when we were lost walking to the meet-up spot for the tour. She gave us step-by-step directions over the phone. It was truly beyond expectations!

On the last evening in Verona we had the pleasure of meeting this agent for aperitivo. This was a special time for my sister and me, considering the connections we had throughout the trip. To end the trip with a visit from her was a highlight. We highly recommend our travel company!

The Zicasso travel company was outstanding with meeting our needs and giving suggestions of what was best to see and do before the trip. If it weren't for this company, we would have gone to Puglia in June during the G-7 conference, which would have been a mistake. I am so glad they steered us differently!! They were also exceptional in changing our dates to a day earlier once we signed off due to an important meeting we had to attend at home.

We loved meeting our agent virtually the week before the trip for any final questions, comments, etc. Great service!! And while in Italy, our agent was helpful if there were last-minute changes or questions!!

The itinerary on our phones was ingenious and so helpful!!

Our driver was great to be with, even though we might have had some language issues at times, but thanks to Google Translate, we were good. He was an excellent driver and gave us tidbits to peruse on our own.

The hotels were all exceptional and we were truly pleased with all of them!!

We feel fortunate that we had this opportunity to visit the Puglia region of Italy and learn so much while taking in the beauty of this country.

They were extremely professional and amazing at what they do. I have passed their name on to everyone who has asked me about our trip and will continue to do so.

Everything was so carefully chosen with so many different experiences for us to enjoy. We loved our guides and drivers, so knowledgeable, friendly and always on schedule. It made it so easy and stress free for us to travel and see Italy. Her choices in hotels, wineries, restaurants, tours and overall experiences were impeccable. This was a fantastic trip. My husband and I had never been to Italy, and I felt so much more comfortable knowing Zicasso was taking care of us. We had a driver pick us up from the train station (the train tickets were already provided by the travel agent, so that was made super-easy). We checked into our hotel, had a golf-cart tour, a personal tour guide for the Colosseum, a personal guide for our wine-tasting tour the next day, and a personal driver to take us back to airport. All was timed perfectly, with no stress. It was truly a vacation.

My husband and I just returned home from a 16-day private tour of Italy. It included Sicily, Venice, Florence, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast. Once we were in Italy, we had a local contact. Each day, she would let us know the pertinent information for our transfers and tours. She was our guardian angel while we were in Italy. Her diligent efforts to ensure each detail was executed seamlessly made our experience even more enjoyable and unforgettable.
