Zicasso’s travel company planned an outstanding trip. From the tours and excursions to the transfers and accommodations, the trip was excellent, a great balance of activity and education for our family of four.

We were delayed getting into Milan, but the driver was updated, so we had no challenges getting to our hotel.

Overall, we had a very good experience with the Zicasso travel agency. We had good conversations about what we were looking to experience during our initial talks. Due to our inability to finalize our dates until about six or seven weeks prior to our departure, the agency was still able to put together a very good itinerary for our group that changed from three to four people.

We had a WhatsApp number to contact the agency if necessary. The agency was very helpful with assisting us complete a lost luggage report with our airline and kept us updated on the status of our lost bags so we could enjoy our vacation rather than waste time in contact with the airline.

The agency also booked many dinner reservations for us throughout our time in Italy and all the restaurants selected were outstanding.

Overall, we had a great time. One of the drivers even wished us a happy 15-year wedding anniversary as he greeted us in Rome for one of our tours, which was very nice. The Zicasso travel company was very responsive and helpful with all my questions, and our itinerary was very clear and descriptive.

The guides for the walking tours were excellent, demonstrated great knowledge of the culture and history of the different cities we visited, maintained great energy throughout the tour, and made sure we were able to get to our next destination safely. The guides had a good command of English for the most part, which made communication easy.

In Venice, the gondola ride turned out to be 20 minutes as it was probably a busy time of day (around 12.30pm local time). The gondolier was not very engaging. However, we appreciated the experience on the canal.

Florence was a beautiful city, with so many museums, buildings, and gardens to see. Sorrento was wonderful. The Amalfi Coast was a sight to see, along with the everyday view of Vesuvius from Sorrento.

Our hotel in Sorrento was by far the best of all in the four cities in terms of size and view, even though all the hotels were rated four stars.

Planning a whirlwind 10-night, four-city tour of Italy in the summer is not easy and I thought the company did an excellent job.

Our trip to Italy was awesome. We got to enjoy the many sites, sounds, and delicious smells that make Italy such a special place to visit. Zicasso’s travel company was helpful in every way. They provided accommodation and travel choices, whether by train, bus, or car, and handled every request with thoroughness and care.

Our honeymoon trip to Italy went very well; we truly enjoyed every minute. It felt very luxurious. The hotels were all very nice. Every tour, experience, and tour guide was amazing. All of the private transfers around Italy were helpful and we felt very taken care of and safe.

As far as the travel company, we had some issues along the way. I provided our flight information into Italy ahead of time, but on the travel plan they noted we were arriving at a different airport than we did – I used their plan to book trains and other transportation to our hotel, so we had to take a last-minute bus, which started the trip on a rough note.

We also would have appreciated someone to reach out to while in Italy to make sure the trip was going smoothly. The communication overall was lacking, although they did provide phone numbers in case of emergencies, if we were running late, or had travel delays, which we appreciated. We also wished more information had been given for some of the experiences as a lot of the time we went into them without truly knowing the itinerary or plan for the day.

Overall though, we would recommend this travel company.

Wow, this travel agency was incredible. From the get-go, they were a really good help. We organized a phone call from Western Australia, and after the call, we decided how the trip would go. We gave all of our ideas and our budget, and then our Zicasso agent started our adventure. She made changes when we asked and did such a great job in creating the perfect itinerary for us. We loved what she came up with, from the private tours to the small group tours, transportation, and hotel organization.

When we were in Italy and had some issues with transport, the emergency app was always there to assist us safely in getting to our destination. I can’t fault this company. Thank you so much for everything! We had the best trip.
