We received great communication and stayed in wonderful accommodations. Our driver in Cape Town was outstanding. Everything went smoothly. Zicasso's travel designer was so patient and helpful during the planning stages and preparing us for the trip.

We just loved our African safari.

Zicasso’s travel specialist planned our trip of a lifetime to Africa and their services were impeccable, down to the smallest detail!! The lodges, service, food, accommodations, airplane transfers, pick-ups and arrivals, and game drives made this trip stress-free, reliable, and so enjoyable.

Trip was well organized by Zicasso’s travel specialist and her team. Support in Kenya with my missing luggage was outstanding. Safari tours, city tours, and the respective accommodations more than met our expectations.

This review is long overdue, but better late than never! Zicasso’s travel agent helped us plan our South African adventure and it was the perfect vacation. Everything went completely flawlessly and all the accommodations were fantastic. The communication and service she provided were excellent and I just wish she was the person who could plan all of our vacations. We did Cape Town, Kruger, Zimbabwe, and Botswana, and it was the ultimate bucket-list trip. Her plan made it the best vacation ever!!!

We loved everything about the trip! It was definitely a five-star experience! Zicasso’s travel specialist was wonderful. We had to cancel the original trip due to my health, but she was able to work with the travel companies, so we lost less money than we might have. She is very responsive and patient with questions. Her team was able to track down my visa to Tanzania when the other three had already received theirs!

We were a bit nervous about using a travel agent/company for the two of us rather than traveling with a tour group. We ended up working out a trip hitting six locations. The complexity and uncertainty of getting from one location to another could have been better explained to reassure us that someone would always be there to get us from one location to the next, but as it turned out, everything worked out great.
We loved our time and guest house in Victoria Falls. A couple of restaurant recommendations for lunch would have been nice. We did not realize that the guest house had a taxi driver they recommended until we were checking out, so over-communicating as much detail would have been great.
Also, in moving from Zimbabwe into Botswana, we did not realize we would have to treat our shoes for hoof and mouth. Knowing that ahead of time would have allowed us to have our shoes ready in a single bag in our luggage.
Also, flying into Zimbabwe from South Africa, we did not realize we needed $30 each in cash. I assumed a credit card would be fine. More clarity on that would have been much better.
Our first safari location was great. Our guide was excellent. The room and food were fine. It felt more like family there.
Our second safari location was also great. The food was a bit better. We did have an issue with never having hot water in our room, but that was specific to us and something they tried to resolve.
I would recommend exactly what we did, three nights in each safari location.
The rest of the trip in Cape Town, Franschhoek, and the wine region were perfect.

The trip was the dream of a lifetime. Everything was above and beyond. Zicasso’s travel operator made the process smooth and I had zero to worry about.
