My wife and I had a wonderful time in Spain and Portugal! We visited Madrid, Granada, Córdoba, Seville, and Lisbon over two weeks.

We had great personal tour guides who were exceptionally knowledgeable.

We enjoyed learning the history of the two countries and visiting the monuments that were visual reminders of that history.

We walked, biked, sailed, and rode trains during our trip.

As for Zicasso’s travel agency, we cannot say enough positive things about their services. We have used many agencies over the years and they are at the top of the list for such great service. No trip happens without some glitches and they were there to take care of the small issues that did come up. They were super-attentive and knowledgeable. Their communication skills were top-notch. Every driver, tour guide, and transfer was on time and they gave us such detailed information that it would have been difficult to go wrong. We were very impressed with the quality of the service, clarity, and communication provided throughout the months we worked with them to figure out a robust two-week itinerary.

Zicasso’s tour planners put together a fantastic trip that our family of five enjoyed.

We recently returned from a fabulous trip to Spain, planned by our Zicasso agent. She was amazing to work with!! She was so attentive and helpful! We communicated by phone and email for a couple of months to plan every aspect of the trip. My husband and I were traveling with our four children, ages 13 to 22, and wanted to ensure everyone would be happy with the locations and activities. Our agent made great recommendations for hotels, restaurants, and day trips, and also planned every last detail, like private transportation and personal tour guides. The entire trip was seamless and it was such a relief to not have to worry about the details.We spent 12 days in Spain, visiting Barcelona, the Costa Brava region, Santiago, and Madrid. Every hotel was wonderful, with beautiful rooms, fabulous complimentary breakfasts, and convenient locations. All our personal guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to spend time with! We could not have asked for a better trip! We would book with Zicasso’s travel company and our agent again in a heartbeat!

Our family planned a trip to Spain and wanted some unique experiences that went beyond the traditional "museum-and-cathedral-style” tours. We got itineraries from two vendors through Zicasso and chose our travel team. We are so glad we did!

They designed an amazing tour that combined must-see locations like La Sagrada Familia and the Alhambra with unique experiences like a paella cooking class and private flamenco lessons. Our trip was 11 days and we were busy every day, but it never felt overwhelming. We saw many of the highlights of Spain and felt we got a great understanding of Spanish culture. We also got a list of restaurants to try.

Our travel agent booked all the hotels, transfers, and in-country travel, and everything was great. When we encountered problems that were outside their control, they rushed to fix them. For example, our flight to Spain was postponed by a day at the last minute and they were able to adjust our tours so we didn't miss anything.

This was the first time we had hired a travel agency for a private tour and we were very impressed with every aspect. I highly recommend our travel agents for your Spain tour!

Our trip and itinerary was wonderful – five stars. I appreciated the Zicasso travel agent’s suggestions. She listened well on our first call and developed the perfect itinerary. All of the hotels were very nice and perfectly located. The breakfasts at the hotels were amazing. All the guides and drivers were professional and helpful. The itinerary and trip were five-star.

I gave four stars because communication during the planning process was frustrating. I am well traveled, so only had a few questions. I had to follow up on unanswered emails and sometimes got terse responses.

I asked for hotel gyms for my teenage son, but none of the hotels had gyms. One had a relationship with a gym down the street, which was fine. This was not a deal breaker because we loved the hotels and locations, but I feel my request was not addressed. I would have liked to have a conversation about the trade-offs regarding different hotel options to determine which worked best.

The itinerary just said “train station”. Luckily I looked at the tickets and noticed that we were using different stations. Pointing out the exact station on the itinerary would help others who may not notice.

In my entire life, I have never been so taken by a travel agency as I have with Zicasso. From beginning to end, you delivered on everything I asked for. I put the plan together and you made it happen seamlessly, flawlessly, and efficiently. By keeping our itinerary at our fingertips through the trip plans app, we were always plugged in to our deadlines, our activities, our guides, our transportation means, our tickets, our passes, our collateral cultural opportunities, etc. You were the ultimate dream enabler and safety valve when information or technology portals went awry. One more thing to add of major importance: the tour guides you assigned us for each activity were simply amazing! I cannot thank you enough for your first-class service.
