We had a good relationship with our Zicasso travel agent, who helped to organize our dream trip to Japan. The trip itself was lovely. The accommodations were top-notch and our agent created a customized itinerary that accommodated our special requests to attend a baseball game, overnight at a Zen monastery, and visit a tea farm.

The only downside was that once we were in Japan, our main contact ended up being another outfit, one that organizes tours for countless tourists each year. As a result, we didn't have consistent contact with our tour operator. It was only possible to reach their representatives via email or by using roaming to call them on ($$$). It would have been better to be able to reach reps and local guides via text message or WhatsApp.

The information provided by the in-country tour company hadn't been updated since before the Covid-19 pandemic. It consisted of a series of PDF files with hyperlinks that weren't live, so you couldn't simply click for more information. It left a less-than-luxurious impression.

Nevertheless, the trip was still spectacular and we had a great time.

All transportation occurred in first-class automobiles by very professional drivers.The hotels arranged for us were above expectation and truly appreciated in terms of comfort, customer service, and location to the things we wanted to see.Our private guides were friendly, fluent in the English language, and extremely knowledgeable of all things in the places we chose to visit. Moreover, they knew of special places and sites that we did not think to visit, but they helped us squeeze these special things into our time together. These extra efforts went beyond imagination as far as helping us to have a wonderful experience.

I want to give special mention to our agent, who worked with us diligently to make sure our plan was what we wanted and expected. Her responsiveness was truly incredible and some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in any situation.

Lastly, the travel company’s personnel gave us day-to-day updates and guidance via WhatsApp. Their professionalism and help was priceless, ensuring our desires and needs were met.

For a person who wants to put together their own itinerary, but have the guarantee that all things will be first class and all needs will be met, this travel company has the staff and the capability to execute the perfect trip, no matter where, in my opinion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Scandinavia trip that was put together by Zicasso’s travel agent. She listened to us and what activities and adventures we were interested in pursuing. Her ideas were great and matched our lifestyles and interests. Well done!
