The Zicasso travel agent was amazing throughout the planning and execution of the trip. He has spent significant time in the area where we traveled, so we got a local's perspective on activities, restaurants, and lodging. He remained with us by phone and text the entire time we were traveling, so we knew we had backup if anything went wrong. Of course, nothing did go wrong, but it was awesome to know he was there.

We had some unusual requirements for the trip, but our agent was able to deliver everything we wanted and more. It was very personalized at every step. Also, with his military and travel background, he was a very interesting guy to talk to. I would strongly recommend him to anyone interested in seeing the best of Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.

The trip Zicasso’s tour operator planned for my husband and me was incredible! Our agent was very easy to work with and the planning process was detailed and creative.

When we arrived at our first hotel, we had a large package of itinerary information, with printed daily packages with tickets, maps, recommendations, and a Switzerland book. The attention to detail was outstanding. Our agent listened to our ideas and planned a custom itinerary that accommodated our request for biking, hiking, and cultural experiences. I requested hotels with spas, and at every location, the accommodations were top-notch. The transportation arrangements were excellent. The luggage service was especially convenient so we didn’t have to carry ours between hotels.

We would absolutely work with this travel company again and have highly recommended them to our friends and family.

Zicasso’s travel company planned the trip just as we hoped. It was truly a magical trip with the historical sights and cultural elements that changed with the landscape. It was a hard trip to organize since we wanted to see so many different sights and the distances made it challenging, but it was meticulously planned with a private driver who drove us from place to place. I can’t give enough thanks to everyone who made this dream experience come true. Our driver was patient, friendly, and extremely helpful. All our guides were knowledgeable and enhanced the experience further. The trip was long, but very seamlessly organized.

I was impressed with the caliber of the tour guides, especially our guide on the first full day. We spent six hours with her, and she was a font of great information and background. She showed us everything we requested and when she found out I was fretting about our train trip to Amsterdam, she brought us over to the train station and showed us how to find the train, the car number, and seat numbers. It greatly relieved my fears. We also took the subway twice with her.

The trip to Potsdam and Sanssouci Palace was a great day, with a wonderful guide and driver. I was highly impressed.

We had an outstanding adventure! This was our third Zicasso trip – a complex, two-week vacation with six people, ourselves, adult children and their significant others across Germany and Austria. We had many standard (wine tasting, castle touring) and non-standard (canyoning, via ferratas) requests, and Zicasso’s travel company did an amazing job of connecting us with incredible tour guides.

The key for me, and what really helps me come back to Zicasso again and again, is "connecting the dots". Our travel company perfectly set up all of our logistics and travel arrangements. On one occasion, things were not quite perfect and they quickly remedied the issue. In addition, they quickly received our feedback during the trip and gave suggestions and/or alternative plans. The adventure was amazing!

This trip through the Basque region had everything: beautiful beaches, lush scenery, history, delicious food, outdoor activities, knowledgeable and friendly guides, wine culture, local flavor, and unique experiences (running with the bulls and a bullfight). Every hotel was very comfortable (even iconic in some instances) and well-located. We experienced great service from the drivers and all the people we encountered. There is not a thing I would change. Our travel agent simply nailed exactly what we wanted. Our local support person was attentive and responsive, and made changes along the way to enhance the trip.

I can't say enough amazing things about working with Zicasso's travel partners! They met and exceeded all of our expectations as they helped my wife and I plan our dream honeymoon to London and Croatia in June. They were there every step of the way and left no stone unturned regarding coordination, communication, and execution. From the beginning, their team asked thoughtful and in-depth questions to really learn about the things we would like to do, while giving their honest opinion on any idea we had. All of their third-party travel partners, who assisted us along the way in each location, were also amazing.
