"The trip was amazing and exceeded our expectations," Ann recalled, reflecting on their odyssey through Costa Rica's breathtaking landscapes. From the moment they arrived, they were immersed in vibrant colors and sounds – red-stemmed palm trees that seemed painted by an artist's brush, orchids that appeared too perfect to be real, and hummingbirds darting through the air with iridescent feathers glimmering in the sunlight.

“We were spoiled by the private transfers and private tours. All of the tour guides were professional and very informative,” Ann said. In the early mornings, mist swirled around them like a veil, revealing cloud forests alive with the melodic trills of tropical birds like scarlet macaws. The soft patter of raindrops on broad leaves added a soothing melody to their journey. “Our time in Monteverde included a rainy day hiking the hanging bridges and ziplining for the first time.“ As they crossed hanging bridges, breathtaking views of the canopy below unfolded, accompanied by the calls of howler monkeys echoing through the forest. The thrill of ziplining through the treetops added another exhilarating touch to their vacation.

"The cloud forests were breathtaking," Ann said. These moments were just the beginning of their Costa Rica experience, an introduction to the country's natural beauty, vibrant culture, and unforgettable flavors.

One of the most memorable moments for Ann was a vanilla tour, which taught them about the intricate process of growing and curing vanilla beans. They were also introduced to the rich flavors and aromas of Costa Rica's local produce – exceptionally sweet, honey-like mangoes, papayas with their bright orange flesh and musky taste, and passion fruits that burst with tangy sweetness. The country's markets were filled with spices and vegetables like nutmeg, cinnamon, and chilies, adding depth to local dishes like gallo pinto.
