Argentina Trip Review: Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Bariloche, Mendoza, Iguazu Falls, Wildlife, Glaciers, Wine Tasting
By my standards, our trip to Argentina was complicated. Through Zicasso’s travel agency, we visited six locations (Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Bariloche, Mendoza, and Iguazú), involving six flights. Overall, the trip proceeded smoothly, with only a few minor problems. I was amazed by the efficiency of the airlines, and the tours and tour guides at each stop were top-notch.

Argentina & Chile Vacation Review: Buenos Aires, Santiago, Mendoza Wine Tour, Dining & Tango, Horseback Riding, Iguazu Falls

The trip this tour company planned for us from Santiago, Chile, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had.

Our tour planner tailored the trip to our desires. The accommodations were outstanding.  The private city tours were excellent--we were never kept waiting,  the arrangements were flawless. The tour planner himself met us at the airports for all of the flights and transported us, in the case of our flight home, from the local airport to the International airport, in a most timely manner. Our special experiences he arranged for us, i.e., horseback riding with a guacho, deluxe wine tour in Mendoza, tango dinner show and a unique Argentine asada dining experience another night were just what we were looking for.

Our most memorable excursion was a flight to and guided tour of the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, a thrilling experience, not to be missed.

We highly recommend this tour company and would be happy to answer any questions about this exellent service from anyone considering a trip to South America.

Argentina Travel Review: Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Pampas Region, Iguazu Falls, Cooking Class, 10-Day Trip
We loved our trip! It felt so personal and we were taken care of every step of the way. We visited, Buenos Aires, the Pampas region, Mendoza, and Iguazu falls. All our flights went smoothly and we were met each time with an English speaking guide to get us settled at our next stay. All of the different locations offered up great cultural experiences, the hotels that were chosen were wonderful! We can't say enough about the Argentinian people - so so nice!

Argentina Review: Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Iguazu Falls, Music & Dance, Horseback Riding
We had a marvelous time in Argentina.  It is a beautiful country and almost everyone we met was kind, generous, and friendly.  Our planner organized an itinerary that provided all of the experiences we were looking for.  We enjoyed a variety of activities in and around Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, and Mendoza.  The travel company accommodated all of my requests -- not just in finalizing the itinerary but also the process for payment, providing vouchers, and offering support while in country. He was also very responsive to my many questions.

Argentina Tour Review: Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Iguazu Falls, Glaciar Castano Overo, Cerro Campanario, Helicopter Tour, Olive Oil Tasting, Wine Tour, 14 Days

Argentina is an amazing country and we had a fantastic time! The travel agent from Zicasso's travel company helped curate a trip that checked all the boxes of what we enjoy about travel. The history, neighborhoods, and dancing we experienced in Buenos Aires were fascinating. The dining experience at the restaurant near Plaza Serrano was top-notch. The scenic beauty we observed in Bariloche was inspiring, and the thrills and views of Iguazú Falls we experienced and witnessed were simply amazing.

Highlights included the Glaciar Castaño Overo hike with the guides (they were great people and we really enjoyed their company; we would highly recommend them). The views from Cerro Campanario in Bariloche. The jet-boat ride and helicopter tour at Iguazú will leave lasting memories imprinted on my brain. It was just a stellar experience that no one should miss when coming to the area. The lunch and olive oil tasting on our wine tour was a delight and unique from any wine tour we’ve ever done.

All around, it was a great trip that went pretty smoothly from start to finish. We are grateful to the travel specialist for putting it all together (hotels, excursions, internal flights, transfers, etc.) so all we had to do was show up and enjoy.

Argentina Vacation Review: Buenos Aires City Tour, Iguazu Falls Boat Tour, Salta, Mendoza Wine Tour, Horseback Ride, Food & Fun
Overall this was a great vacation and things went better than expected. We had to postpone this trip twice due to COVID  restrictions in both the US and Argentina and it took us 2 years to finally get here from our original scheduled date. I was getting to the point where I just wanted to cancel the trip during that period. I'm sure glad we waited it out and finally made it.  Everything was fantastic. We spent 3 nights in Buenos Aires which included 2 specialized/fun dining experiences, a tango show, and a private 1/2 day city tour. Transfers from the airport to the hotel were included along with the pick-up and return to the hotel for the tango show. The hotel was located in the Palermo district and was near a lot of activities, restaurants, and bars. The hotel was very nice which included breakfast. It was an older boutique hotel with a lot of charm. The staff was friendly and did their best to speak in English to us.We then flew up to Iguazu for an amazing 3 nights. The hotel was located in the rainforest and was extremely nice, clean, and very relaxing. Breakfast was included. The restaurant at the hotel was tops and we had lunch and dinner there during our stay. I highly recommend the hotel restaurant. If you want other dining options you'll need a car or take a taxi into town, which we did one night. We went to the falls and spent a full day on the Argentinian side which included a boat ride under the falls. You will get soaked so be prepared, but it was so much fun. You get to see the falls from every angle on the Argentinean side and it was really breathtaking.  We also spent a 1/2 day on the Brazilian side one of the days. I personally think the view is better from the Brazilian side, but the Argentinian side gives you so many more viewing options. I recommend you see the falls from both sides since they are completely different views. We had a private escort/tour guide the two days we went to the falls and he was great. Iguazu is a must-see stop for your first trip to Argentina. We went from Iguazu to Salta for 5 nights. Our hotel was in the city center near some great restaurants. The hotel was older but very nice and clean. The staff was great and again they tried their best to speak to us in English. Salta is an area where knowing some Spanish would be helpful. This was the only part of the trip where we felt communication was a little difficult for us. Everyone was friendly and we were able to get by. Breakfast was included at the hotel and it was a basic continental breakfast. All our activities were great, but again knowing some Spanish would have been better for us. I would still recommend Salta to anyone coming to Argentina. It's another region of the country so different from every other area we visited. It was very beautiful and the people were so nice. Our final destination was Mendoza for 4 nights. Mendoza was super and all the activities we did were great.  We did a wine tour one day which couldn't have been better. We spent a day horseback riding which included a BBQ after the ride with some of the best food we had in Argentina. This was probably one of our favorite activities we did. They really rolled out the red carpet for us and gave us some great memories. Our hotel in Mendoza was our favorite on our vacation. It was in a beautiful setting. We ate dinner at the hotel one of the nights and it was great. The staff was amazing and it had everything we wanted. The travel company was great to work with and communicated with me multiple times throughout our vacation to make sure we had a great time. Right from the beginning, they helped us plan an amazing vacation. Communication was always easy either through emails and/or an App. Even with the trip getting postponed twice they were very flexible with us and made everything happen. All our drivers, activities, tour guides, and hotels were great and everything went flawlessly. I highly recommend them to plan your vacation in Argentina.
