We absolutely loved our family vacation to Australia. We went to Sydney, Tasmania and Port Douglas. After speaking with our agent from the travel company and receiving a proposed itinerary I knew that she understood what we were looking for in a trip. She planned a trip that was fun for me and my husband but also fun for our six year old daughter. She also planned the trip within our budget.

Our Zicasso travel agent helped us plan a dream family vacation with our adult sons to Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, and Cairns) and New Zealand (Queenstown, Te Anau, Milford Sound, Wanaka).
We only had three weeks for two countries, but our tour operator fit in a Great Barrier Reef dive, Melbourne and Sydney bike tours, wine tastings, a private luxury boat tour of Sydney, river rafting, a Siberian Air and jet-boat experience with a 7km hike through New Zealand's wilderness, an overnight stay on a boat in Milford Sound, glow worms, a wildlife sanctuary, and a steamboat ride to enjoy tea at a farm to watch sheep shearing. All this and we still had free time to explore on our own. The accommodations were top-notch and the majority had laundry facilities in our unit!
He was fantastic to work with – highly responsive and detailed, and we would definitely recommend his services! His presentation of the itinerary and activities was really helpful. He spent over two hours with a video presentation covering all aspects of our trip. This included hotel and activity locations, with detailed views. This made things really easy to navigate once we were there. Anything he reserved for us went without a glitch and all transports showed up on time.
Cyclone Jasper hit Australia right before our trip and Zicasso's travel partner spent a lot of unexpected extra time reconfiguring the first few days of our itinerary, given the storm's impact on our first location. Again, another two-hour conference covering these changes, which put our minds at ease. We still got everything on our dream list covered and greatly appreciate his extra time, especially as this was during the holiday season. It really was the trip of a lifetime!

Our travel agent saved our vacation! About 5 months ago I started planning an epic once in a life time trip to Australia. We were going to vacation across the country, first in Melbourne, then Hamilton Island, and finally Sydney. Our agent worked directly with me to set up an itinerary that suited my family's needs and budget. He thought of everything, even making sure there were car seats in our rides to and from the airport and that we scored basinet seating on the airplane so I didn't have to hold my 9 month old the whole time. He also had people waiting for us at each city with signs waiting for our arrival, which is awesome when you don't know where you are going. Here is where our agent became a super hero to my family. We were on Hamilton Island when Cyclone Debbie hit the Gold Coast (CAT 4). All air and sea traffic was stopped so we were basically stranded on the island waiting for Debbie to arrive. Our agent rescheduled our flights to Sydney and then back home without any need for me to even pick up the phone (except to call him). In a twist of fate we were emergency evacuated from the Island and dropped off in Brisbane, which was an unscheduled stop. With a very bad phone connection our agent was able to book us a hotel in Brisbane and reroute our air tickets to Sydney the next day. He took care of all the rebooking of the hotels in Sydney and changed all the tickets for our outings, as we were 3 days late arriving because of Debbie. A cyclone wasn't a pleasant surprise on my vacation but our agent and his wife definitely were. I can not sing his praises enough! I will never travel without a travel agent again (and trip insurance). He saved our vacation and after we got off Hamilton Island we really enjoyed ourselves.

We did a two week tour of Australia and we had a most memorable time! Our travel agent was very patient in packaging a tour that was tailor made to our specifications. This involved a lot of outdoor activities, like snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, climbing the Harbour Bridge in Sydney, ziplining in the rainforest of Port Douglas, searching for kangaroos and koalas in the wild in Melbourne, watching little penguins up close in Philip Island, trekking through the wonderful gorges around Uluru and having a magnificent dinner in the desert amidst the Field of Lights, among other things. We loved it! She also booked us in nice apartments/hotels when possible, so that our family of 5 would be accommodated in just one unit. Also, our flight out of Melbourne was cancelled and they took care of immediately rebooking our flight. Thank you to our agent and her company for making our Australian experience extra special!
