Day 1

Nusa Dua – Arrive in Bali with an Introductory Tour around Nusa Dua

Long stretches of white sand border the town of Nusa Dua and separate the quiet streets and indigo waters. Soaring coconut palms shade the coastline amongst the hidden cafes that fill the air with the seductive aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The aromas of nutmeg and clove emanate from the market before fading beneath the scent of wild hibiscus growing around the outskirts of town. Your flight will land at Ngurah Rai International Airport where your private transfer will meet you upon arrival. You will pass the gates that lead into Nusa Dua to find a hotel that blends contemporary luxury with architecture inspired by the Balinese tradition. Two islands to the east resemble mounds rising out of the Indian Ocean as the sand glints against the lapping water as surfers take to the waves breaking past the reef.

After settling into the comforts of your resort-style accommodation, you will make your way to Pandawa Beach for an introduction to the captivating mixture of land and sea. Towering limestone cliffs hide the long beach, and the cliffs contain human-made arches inside which stand statues that depicting heroes from the epic of Mahabharata. Colorful waistcloths decorate the white stone statues that elegantly bring together the splendor of Bali’s nature with the community’s deep connection to heritage.

Indonesia Vacation Review: Menjangan, Sidemen, Wildlife, Nature, Rice Terraces, 16 Nights

Our trip with Zicasso's tour company was nothing short of exceptional. From the start, our travel specialist took the time to really understand what we wanted and created a perfectly paced itinerary that reflected all of our preferences. Everything felt thoughtfully planned and tailored just for us.

What truly set this experience apart was how the team handled the unexpected. When our flights were cancelled, the agent who supported us on-site went above and beyond. He quickly rearranged every hotel and activity, shifted our entire schedule by a day, and extended our trip so we wouldn’t miss anything. He made it all look effortless.

Throughout the trip, our specialist acted as our personal concierge, helping with every schedule change and request with kindness, patience, and professionalism. It made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free.

We’ve traveled a lot and this was hands-down one of the best services we’ve ever received. A huge thank you to our specialist and agent, and to the entire team at the travel company. We would absolutely book with them again and have already recommended them to family and friends!

Indonesia Vacation Review: Bali, Jungle, Elephant Sanctuary, Wildlife, Boat Trip, E-Biking, Rice Paddies, ATV, Canyoning, Rappelling, Cliff Jumping, 2 Weeks

Our trip to a Bali was simply amazing and it could not have been better. I contacted three agencies about Bali a few years ago, but we didn’t end up going at that time. When we started to plan our Bali trip this year, we contacted Zicasso's tour company because they had been the most helpful the first time around.

Indonesia Tour Review: Snorkeling, Eco-Lodge, Balinese Dancing, 12 Nights

I travelled with my son Marshall and had a great time. There was a lot of time sitting in airports, but that was the fastest way to get around Indonesia to do all of the things that we wanted to do. We had to go to so many islands! The guides at each stop were fantastic. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. They also suggested good alternatives to the places we visited that gave us the same experience, with the added plus of not being where there were a lot of tourists.
