Belize Travel Review: Placencia, Mayan Ruins, Snorkeling, Horseback Riding, 8-Day Vacation
My wife and I had an amazing trip to Belize. Catarina was amazing, I had planned this for a couple years and Covid hit. I texted her years later in March, she responded immediately by name. She planned a perfect vacation understanding who we were and what we liked. Very easy to get a hold of. Belize is beautiful. The resorts in the Jungle and by the Sea, were top notch. Love the Mayan ruins and went horseback though the beautiful grounds. Went to an awesome 4 mile caye to snorkel for the day. All tours and staff at the hotels were awesome. Loved Placencia the peninsula, used golf carts to get around!

Belize Trip Review: Belmopan, Bocotora, Markets, Temples, Hiking, Cave Tubing, One-Week Tour
Our overall impression and experience was very positive especially for the resort in Belmopan. The room was very comfortable the views were excellent. the service was very helpful. In hindsight we wish we had not paid for the meals it would have been economical for us.The issue we had for the first day excursion, we were supposed to go on to market and so on in the morning but they changed to afternoon because of group of seven women also had signed up for the same excursion but they had another excursion in the morning. They were very late so they took us to market ourselves then the driver got a call to pickup the other group. so the driver left us at the souvenir market we had to sit there for almost two hours waiting for driver to come back then the ladies wanted to go grocery shopping so much time wasted that wemissed the chocolate tour because they were closed for the tour. We were very upset. and we complained to Byron and he was very nice, apologized  and promised to do whatever he could.the next day to the Mayan Xunantunich temples was an excellent, very knowledgeable guide, the green Iguana project was also a good experience . the following day guided nature hike was a very good learning experience with very good guide. The management adjusted the final bill to compensate for our troubles. It was OK. None the less that experience was not enjoyable. The Bocotora location is beautiful. The room was nice  not quite facing the beach had an extra bedroom which we did not need. The reception was not very welcoming but rest of the services were good. We are glad we did not sign up for all the excursions some of them did not have enough people signed up. we were able to go on the Herman cave tubing which was a very pleasant experience again with a good guide.Overall the Bocotora experience was average. well maintained resort clean and pleasant surroundings. Paddle boat restaurant was very average. we would be better off not including  the breakfast as paid meal. we really enjoyed the CHEF ROY restaurant. excellent food. thank you for your recommendation. walking around village was a good experience.Your write-up about the our Belize vacation was very helpful.

Belize Travel Review: Snorkeling, Mayan Ruins, Cave Tubing, Local Cuisine, Private Tours, 1-Week Trip

It was a wonderful trip to a beautiful country with so much history, natural beauty, and, most of all, friendly people. Our experience was nothing short of magical and we have to thank our travel planner, Catarina.

From accommodations (in Ambergris Caye and in Belmopan) to tours to the guides to all the logistics, there were no hiccups at all. We had different family members arrive and depart at different times/days. Very happy that the travel agency was so thorough, from the initial planning until the end of our trip. They were extremely patient with all our requests and made sure they gave us many options to pick from.

And the food we had was beyond good. A big thanks for making sure we had great choices as vegetarians, including on the food tours customized for us and special orders for dinner entrée at our resort in Belmopan. We couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend using them for planning a perfect Belize trip.

Belize Travel Review: Placencia, Ambergris Caye, Silk Cayes Marine Reserve, Snorkeling with Sea Life
The travel planner with the travel company planned the perfect beach vacation for us in Belize.  Our planner is very knowledgeable about the many options Belize has to offer.  We wanted a warm beach vacation and she picked two perfect places. Placencia, the town was fun to explore we could walk there on the beach or bike on the road.  The resort villas had Kayaks, Paddleboards, Bikes and Golf Carts.   We had a fantastic snorkeling excursion to the Silk Cayes.  The next stop was the Resort and Spa on Ambergris Caye, the resort was amazing! They also provided bikes, Kayaks, Paddleboards and Golf Carts for exploring the area.  We had two days of snorkeling where we saw sharks, star fish, barracuda, among the plentiful sea life there.  We chose Belize because they were testing for Covid 19 pre entry and felt that would be a safer environment.  And both hotels had testing before departure back to the U.S.It was stress free and our travel planner checked in on us daily, how can you beat that!

Luxury Belize Travel Review: ATM Cave, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Local Cuisine, Pottery Class, 9-Day Vacation

Social Media Post Belize: 5 days in the rainforest & 6 on a small island. We highly recommend this trip to all our fellow travel friends & family. Relatively easy to get there…only a 2 hr flight from Houston Tx, Everyone speaks English, use American currency and extremely friendly and welcoming people.

A quick shoutout to Catarina from our travel agency who coordinated all of our bookings in addition to land, boat transfers and excursions. She put together a perfect itinerary mixed with just the right amount of relaxation vs adventure. The lodge near Belmopan & resort on Hatchet Caye. #atmcave #mayanruins #mayavillage #corntortillas #potterywheel #archaeological #xunantunich #scubadiving #cocktails #yoga #snorkling #ceviche #stargazing #sunsetchasingUsing a travel agency was amazing as it took all of the worry, hassle with research and no struggles with information overload. Catarina stayed in text contact with us the entire time and that was very comforting. Would not change a thing.

Belize Travel Agent Review: Belmopan, Placencia, One-Week Tour
Our Belize travel company was helpful and highly communicative.  I did feel they were a bit pushy and aggressive on closing a deal.  In part, that may have been due to a perceived limitation of rooms available in Placencia.  When I visited, there seemed to be more occupancy than I was led to believe but that may have been because of Omicron.  The summary of travel and ideas were quite good, but it would have been good to manage expectations on cost a little bit more.  For example, "all inclusive" in Belize doesn't really mean that.  Also, they could have done a bit of a better job in understanding our physical limitations/ability and the availability of Wi-Fi (a big deal for me) at one of the resorts.
