African Safari Review: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana & Nambia, Chobe District, Victoria Falls, Cape Point Tour
The trip was well planned and executed, covering four major locations in Africa. The land and air transportation were organized in a very efficient manner; no major delays, and drivers were always on time. The accommodations at each location were high quality and provided excellent service. The locations of accommodations were well selected. All the drivers, guides and staff were courteous and helpful; we received a lot of help at immigration points in getting all the forms completed and passports submitted without having to wait in long lines. The sightseeing tour in the  Cape Town area and Victoria Falls were thrilling and memorable. Our safari trips at Umkumbe were also memorable and the guide was top rate. The safari trip in Chobe park  took us to see many  wild animals up close, especially elephants; that trip was quite bumpy, and we would encourage the safari provider to provide vehicles with improved shock absorbers;  the sunset cruise at Chobe Villas was most enjoyable. There was a previous sunset cruise at Victoria falls I believe, which was not worthwhile.Received excellent service from the travel company; would have like them to check in with us during the trip

Zambia/Zimbabwe, South Africa & Botswana Review: Luxury Africa Safari, Cape Town & Victoria Falls, Chobe Reserve & Okavango Delta
The trip was great. The Cape Town - Victoria Falls - Botswana safari route is the classical Southern Africa highlight trip and it did not disappoint. July also seems to be a good time for this trip, with the Falls at a relatively high water level, and the weather ideal for safari. The travel agency was great to work with. We were originally planning to do this trip much later in the year, so we did not start this discussion until late May. It became clear to us in the discussions that an earlier trip would be best for the Falls, and we started thinking early July, but we were unsure if we could get everything done on such a short notice. This travel agency put this trip together for us within a couple of weeks, and everything went very smoothly from there. The transfers, accommodations and guides were all great. Given how little time we had, we thought it was remarkable.

Luxury Botswana Travel Review: Wildlife & Nature, Helicopter Ride, 12-Night Tour
Our trip was seamless!  From the time that we left Johannesburg heading for the lodge in Chobe River, Botswana there was always someone right there to pick us up and deliver us to the right place. It made the trip so easy, allowing us to just enjoy the accommodations, the scenery and the game drives. We were promptly notified when there were adjustments to the transportation schedule and so we were never concerned or anxious. The only slight misunderstanding was at the hotel in Tambo airport when we checked in. The reservation was made under Betsy (which I go by all the time) but my passport shows only my formal name, Elizabeth. Although my last name is very unusual, the reception staff was only focused on my first name and thought we did not have a reservation. The manager straightened out that problem.  The lodge in Chobe River is gorgeous and we lacked for nothing. The tent camps were also extremely well done.  The staffs were wonderful and totally accommodating. Everyone, everywhere was so pleasant and the guides were fantastic. They know their stuff and they became our best friends. Overall the hospitality shown throughout our trip was nothing short of perfect. We chose to go during the rainy season and so we expected some weather inconvenience. Remarkably, the little rain that we got did not interfere with any activity. In fact, we got a bonus because of the downpours at the camp in Central Kalahari prior to our arrival. The runway was flooded and so we took a helicopter to the camp. That was so much fun!We thought the food was much better than we anticipated. Sure there were a few things that we did not care for, but 90% of the selections were excellent.  With three substantial meals along with coffee breaks on the game drives and tea at 3:30, my husband and I returned to the US heavier than we left! In summary, we could  not be happier!!

Luxury South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe & Botswana Trip Review: Cape of Good Hope, Zambezi River, Victoria Falls, Safari
We just returned from a 3 week four country (South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana) trip that involved six internal flights and numerous transfers, seven hotels and lodges and other tours and events. All sent off without a hitch. Rachel provided a clear detailed itinerary that met all our needs to intimate, interesting locations away from overly commercial, crowded tourist trap accommodations. Highlights for us was self-driving through the rugged and empty roads of Namibia, down to the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, the stunning beauty of the Zambezi River and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and wild beauty of our safari in Botswana. What was priceless were all our conversations with the different people we met from Africa on our journey. I have traveled extensively around the world, but had never spent time in Southern Africa, and cannot wait to return. The hospitality, the food, the wine and the adventure surpassed my expectations, and I have Rachel to thank for an incredibly well-planned adventure.

Review: Africa Family Safari, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Savanna Private Game Reserve, Victoria Falls

Our family trip to Africa was phenomenal! We worked with this travel agent. She planned the perfect trip for us! And we were not an easy group...23 in all with 10 adults and 13 children (ranging in ages from 2 to 17). We went to two different safari lodges, toured Victoria Falls and spent three glorious days in Capetown. The itinerary was perfect. There was a fair amount of travel involved. But there was no way to avoid that if we were to experience all that we wanted to! Our travel agent arranged all the transports and they were flawless. The hotels were also great and the safari lodges were absolutely perfect! We spent some time along the Chobe River, which we loved. Doing our safaris by boat. Our final Safari was at Savanna Private Game Reserve. This place was amazing. The food was to die for and the special drinks so fun! The game drives afforded incredible game viewing and we all left there wishing we could stay.

At at one point, we lost a passport. Panic ensued as we were then in Zambia. Our agent was so calm and helpful during this pressure-packed moment. Fortunately, we found this passport at the bottom of a bag.

We wouldn’t change one thing about this trip!
