Vacation Review: Japan, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Local Cuisine & Food Culture, Villa & Garden, Temples & Shrines
The three tour guides assigned in Tokyo and Kyoto were outstanding.  All three were personable, professional, and enthusiastic.  They all made great recommendations for dining and were flexible to accommodate any changes to the itinerary. The hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto were great.  The rooms were comfortable and spacious and in great locations.  The room in Osaka was super small and not comparable to rooms provided in Tokyo and Kyoto.  There was a booking snafu for the hotel in Kyoto.  Our itinerary called for a nonsmoking room and they put us in a smoking room.  The smell in the hallway and room was overwhelming.  When we requested a room change, we were told that no room was available.  We packed up and stayed in the lobby until a room was made available at 2:00 AM.  Unfortunately this put a damper on our tour the next day (starting at 9:00 am).  We never did get an explanation as to how this happened. As as for the itinerary, would have preferred more time in Tokyo, one less day in Kyoto and scratch Ōsaka all together.  The itinerary set for Tokyo did not allow enough time to experience all the events.  For example the lines for The Mori Tower and Edo Tokyo Museum were very long and essentially eliminated experiencing these sites.  All the sites in Kyoto were great and we enjoyed the cooking class. We would have preferred a guide in Osaka or at least the option to consider the increased cost vs. no guide.  Lastly, all the transportation arrangements were great.

China Travel Review: Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Guilin, Shanghai, 12-Day Trip

The trip to China my that husband and I took this year was amazing and memorable. We visited five cities in 12 days: Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Guilin, and Shanghai.

All of the guides were great, professional, knowledgeable, open to answering our questions, and willing to accommodate us.

I’m a planner, so having most of the day mapped out with what we were doing was exactly as expected, with some free time in the evenings.

The transfers between cities, at the airport, or on the train were very smooth, with no issues.

The only thing I would recommend is for Zicasso’s tour company to work with us in obtaining the Chinese visa versus having to find a third party on our own. Overall, we would highly recommend their services.

Travel Review: Tour of China, Shenzhen, Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guilin, Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors

This travel agent planned our 3 week trip to explore China for our party of four.  We started in Beijing and walked on the Great Wall, learned much about Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, went to Xian for the Terracotta Warriors, to Chengdu for the Pandas, Hangzhou and Tunxi, then a hike up the Huangshan Mountain; Shanghai and the Shanghai Tower, Guilin for the amazing countryside and rice terraces, Shenzhen to visit our nephew and Hong Kong as the finale.  Transportation, guides, accommodations were wonderful and effortless for us.   In a land of millions of people and many tourists, the guides slid through the crowds and found places to explore that were not as crowded as others.

Our travel company helped us coordinate visas, travel insurance, and provided tipping and shopping guidance.  Any small concern (and they were minimal) were met with a smile and addressed.  They even sent a replacement van up Longji Mountain.

I would highly recommend the travel company for your China tour.

Japan Luxury Travel Review: Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Kanazawa, Shirakawa, Mt. Fuji, Hakone, Cherry Blossoms, 2-Week Tour
When we decided to go to see cherry blossom in Japan, we thought of guided tours for two weeks.  We did a search online, Zicasso came on top with their luxury guided Japan tour.  After sending out an email, they immediately recommend two agencies and one of them is the one we chose.  Charlotte reached out in the same day but her email went into my trash directly.  It was found three days later in a weekend.  Once Charlotte received my email response, she texted me and called right after to get our desired details for these tours and dates.  She promised to get a proposal to us in next Monday and provided the proposal on time.  It came out almost matching everything we expected. We suggested some minor changes and she accommodated right next day with updated version.  It made our decision so easy to go with this agency.  Toward the start of the trip, our son wanted to meet us in Japan with his fiancé after he proposes to her in Japan and Charlotte made all necessary changes and arranged a fancy lunch meeting at Kyoto train station with set Japanese food in a private dining room.  We spent two weeks in Japan and visited so many places from Kyoto, to Nara, Kanazawa, Shirakawa, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, and Tokyo.  The whole trip was accompanies with English speaking Japanese local guides. All the transportations, sites seeing, cherry blossom, history, culture, tea ceremony, cruises, private transportation, hotels, rope lifts, high speed trains, local express trains, and long distance buses, subways, not mentioning the local food, we have touched so many different ways of life in Japan without thinking of it every day.  They made everything so easy for us and so worry free.  We have enjoyed every single moment with all arrangement and guides.  It made this vacation one of the bests in our life and we got so many great memories including our son's successful proposing.  Thank you Charlotte and the team for your kind help and very nicely guided tours.

Japan Tour Review: Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Nagoya, Hakone, Ryokan, Baseball, Tea Ceremony, Local Cuisine, 16 Days

Zicasso's travel specialist and her team planned an absolutely outstanding 16-day trip for me and my family. We visited Tokyo, Ghibli Park (near Nagoya), Kanazawa, Kyoto (with day trips to Nara and Osaka), and then wrapped things up with two nights at a beautiful and luxurious ryokan in Hakone.

Communication leading up to the trip was clear and efficient, and whenever we had a question during the trip, we were able to get quick answers from our travel company's rep in Japan.

I would absolutely book another trip with this company.

Japan Tour Review: Nara, Gardens, Pottery, Shrines, Temples, 12-Night Trip

I had a very good experience with our Zicasso travel agent. She created a dynamite itinerary for me which included a few off-the-beaten-track destinations based on my interest in Japanese pottery.

The guides who led me through the major shrines, temples, and attractions were exceptional: each one added immeasurably to my overall experience.

My accommodations were all excellent, located close to the central areas and major transportation hubs.

Although there were a couple of small hiccups, they were managed timely and to my complete satisfaction.
