It is easy to be immersed in the appeal of Costa Rica, which is a country of monkey-filled cloud forests, Caribbean and Pacific beaches, volcanos, and waterfalls. While its natural history leads most visitors to a handful of iconic destinations, Costa Rica hides many more adventures beneath the rainforest canopy.

Detailed Description
If you dream of Costa Rica, a series of classic images will come to mind, such as hiking through a jungle to a waterfall that tumbles into a volcanic crater or wandering along a quiet coastline before watching the sunset from a beachside suite. There may also be the image of exploring cloud forests on foot, on horseback, or along canopy bridges. You can imagine volcanos and rainforests along with crystal-clear pools and hot springs. All of these experiences can be found when you follow the popular tourist trail. If you venture off the beaten track, you can still enjoy these adventures, except they will not be interrupted by tourist crowds.
Even now, so much of Costa Rica remains under-explored and undeveloped. You can rappel into vast cave systems, ride horses along unexplored trails, boat around deserted coastlines, and immerse yourself in the jungle allure. The country’s infrastructure has improved tremendously in recent years, creating new destinations for locals and tourists. However, many of these destinations are not on standard itineraries, and it always seems a little more magical when you can explore without crowds. New airports and flight routes have expanded access to the country, so many of these undiscovered gems can be combined in just a private, one-week tour.
With seven nights in Costa Rica, this customizable tour will lead you to the country’s next big destinations before they gain popularity. After flying into Liberia, you will spend two nights at a hacienda near Rincon de la Vieja National Park. On one afternoon, you will trek along new trails to jungle waterfalls and azure lakes, where you bask in the seclusion and serenity. Day two will utilize horses and high wires to explore more of the national park before the depths of Terciopelo Cave become the highlight of day three. Epitomizing this week in Costa Rica, the cave system can create a wonderful sense of seclusion and undiscovered nature.
After your cave tour, you will be transferred to Montezuma for three nights on a Pacific peninsula. Day four will be all about the rainforest interior, and you will walk through the canopy and follow sounds to hidden waterfalls. You will then spend day five along the coast with kayaking, snorkeling, and some surprisingly deserted beaches. A new flight route connects nearby Tambor with Golfito, so on day six, you can fly to the Southern part of the country and take a boat to Playa Zancudo, which is a beachside village that is defined by thick jungle and local wildlife encounters. Two nights here will culminate your vacation, and you will fly out of Golfito to begin your journey back home.

My husband and I are speechless!!! Our travel planners at this travel company, were impeccable hosts. We asked for an adventurous and romantic 10 days in Costa Rica and they delivered more than we could have expected. They had everything planned out for us from each hotel, private travel, and outside excursions. We were given an itinerary and everything that was planned was taken care of and on time. By the end our our trip, I was in tears because I fell in love with Costa Rica and the people there.
We started in Monteverde and the scenery was absolutely stunning...everywhere we went was! We stayed for two nights and we did the zipline canopy tour and a night hike. We then moved to the Rincon De la Veija region and stayed for three night. Once again, we were so at peace with the people and the scenery. We took a hike to the top of the world, where we saw some amazing waterfalls and we were lucky enough to have the pleasure of sliding down a natural water slide :). We then moved to our final destination in Nosara, where we spent our last five nights. There we were once again amazed at the hospitality and the views of Costa Rica. We had the opportunity to paddle board in the mangroves, surf at Playa Guiones, hiked to a waterfall, hike in the Biological Reserve, enjoyed New Years, and ate at a beautiful restaurant on Playa Pelada.
No words or pictures can truly express our appreciation and love for this trip and the all of the people who made it happen!

My adult son and I had a fantastic time in Costa Rica with the travel company. It began with our travel agent in Boston. I explained to him the type of trip I wanted and he was able to come up with a 12 day itinerary for us. He sent us a detailed description of what we were to experience and he was able to accommodate some extra things that I wanted to do. Two days before the trip, I was sent an app so I could check my daily schedule on my phone. When we arrived at the airport in Costa Rica, someone was waiting for us and took us directly through our hotel. The entire trip felt very well scheduled. We went with a group of people to Tortuguero for three days and had a fantastic experience. All tours and food were included there. From there on, we had a private driver and he was very knowledgeable and flexible throughout our trip. We loved having a private driver. We then went to the Arenal Volcano area and had a wonderful time. The hotel was fantastic with an amazing view of the volcano from our room. We enjoyed this hotel! Every guest had a private casita and the grounds were quite beautiful. From then we traveled to Monteverde and had an exciting time in Selvatura which is a nature park with suspension bridges and ziplining. From there, we went to the Pacific coast and visited Manual Antonio National Park. We saw tons of animals and at the end of the tour, we went to one of the beaches in the park. From there we went ATV riding, catamaran, night hikes, etc.... Our contact was very welcoming to us and she was always available by phone if I had any questions. This is a great tour company and they took care of us very well. I would love to go again!

From their first response to our enquiry, we had confidence that this travel agency had understood what we were looking for, from our trip to Costa Rica. They worked with us to fine-tune our itinerary and hotel choices, and made valuable suggestions when we were unsure of the best options. They responded promptly to all of our emails and phone calls before we left England, and were equally available throughout our time on Costa Rica. When they say that they are contactable 24/7, they really mean it.
On arrival in Costa Rica, we were met by the co-owner and his wife as well as our driver - this was a truly personal touch and showed their commitment to looking after us. They kept in contact throughout our trip - for example, speaking to us during internal transfers between the different places we visited. We felt confident that our travel agency would be there to solve any problems that may arise, and as with any extended trip, we did have a couple of problems. When we both picked up local virus, our travel agency arranged for the hotel to take us to a local clinic for treatment.
They offered an outstanding service when we missed an internal flight, due to heavy traffic, by arranging a private charter flight to ensure that we could reach our next destination. We were extremely happy with the standard of all of the vehicles and drivers that our travel agency used and felt completely safe on the roads. We enjoyed all of our destinations and the accommodation was excellent (with only one exception: our cloud forest lodge in the Bajos del Toro area which was very cold at night, as there was no heating. It really needed some).
In summary, this company are the best agents that we have ever used and we have no reservation in recommending them most highly.
