Travel Review: Luxury Croatia Vacation, Dubrovnik, Mostar, Kotar, Hvar, Montenegro, Trogir, Split, ...
The trip was good-a nice balance of seeing new places, exploring and relaxing. The only place I probably could have been fine without was Trogir- but I think Jay suggested that because of the location . It gave us access to a national park we wanted to see and the Split airport. Jay's recommendatins were pretty right on, the accomodations were great in Dubrovnik and Hvar and fine in Trogir. The people at the APT and hotels were lovely and accomodating. The local people that assisted were fine - not overly accomodating - in other words they didn't frequently check in on you - but certainly efficient and always available if you needed to contact them, All our needs were taken care of and it was a lot easier than making all the arrangements yourself which is what we usually do - and the cost was very reasonable from my perspective. Jay had us covered every step of the way .

Luxury Croatia & Slovenia Trip Review: Dubrovnik, Rovinj, Split, Trogir, 18-Night Tour
This was a trip planned in 2020 which had to be postponed until May 2022 due to Covid. Our travel agency was extremely helpful delaying the trip and then rebuilding it two years later.Andrea provided us the original direction and made the 2020 arrangements. We followed much of her original plan.In 2022, Ivana took over. She adjusted the trip and made all the new arrangements for us to include hotels, drivers, tour guides and entrance tickets. The private drivers and tour guides were professional, dependable and educational. The hotel selections all had something we truly enjoyed particularly the wonderful locations. There were a couple places we highly recommend...our hotel in Rovinj & our hotel in Dubrovnik. Many people skip Rovinj for other parts of Croatia, but it was charming with rolling hills filled with vineyards and olive groves besides the beautiful sea.  If we had a chance to do the trip over again, I would add another island visit and perhaps less time in Split. Inside the ancient walls, Split was wonderful, but the city itself needs to clean up graffiti and deal with traffic. We enjoyed Trogir which Ivana said was a must visit. She was right.I would also like to thank Ivana for attentiveness during our actual trip. If we needed to adjust the timing or had a question, she responded quickly even on weekends. We appreciated her very much.

With the help of the travel agency, we traveled from Zagreb, Croatia, cross-country by car through Bosnia with stops in Mostar and Medugorje on our way to Dubrovnik. Then, with friends, we came up the Dalmatian coast visiting Spilt, Trogir, Zadar then on to Plitvice Park and Slovenia. This travel company's arrangements were flawless and their in-country contacts extremely helpful.

Croatia & Montenegro Trip Review: Šibenik, Trogir, Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, 12-Day Vacation
Timing of one of our stops was too short to see everything in Sibenik and Trogir. Both towns were very interesting but we needed at least a half day and we were scheduled to arrive in Split by 4:00pm. Could have arrived much later.I think we could have had a bit more guidance on what to see and not to see. I had in my mind various areas from doing research but since we don't live there we are not experts.

Travel Review: Luxury European Vacation, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Zagreb, Split, Trojir, Dubrovnik, Plitvice Lakes

We just returned from a wonderful 8 night trip to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia and have nothing but praise for our agent and this travel company. We travel around the globe and have used multiple agents to arrange private tours but this experience topped them all. In the initial organizing process I contacted 4 operators to get some ideas of itinerary and prices and most were trying to dissuade me from our active itinerary of visiting multiple locations in a week. Our agent instead listened and provided exactly what I was looking for along with the inside information how to make the itinerary run smoothly and still feel like vacation. He had multiple great ideas for places to visit including several I had not considered on my own.  I asked for a romantic dinner for our anniversary and he found an incredible fine dining experience in a cave that was unique and outstanding. All of our drivers and guides were prompt, professional, spoke English well and willing to talk. The vehicles were excellent. The food among the best and freshest I have had anywhere.  If I could give him him credit for the incredible weather I would as well. The itinerary was varied including boat trips, islands, mountains, nature and medieval, Roman and Greek cities.  There was really some of everything and despite visiting so any places, we both felt relaxed and like we had a good feel and appreciation for everywhere we went. We especially appreciated that when we arrived in Split, our agent and his wife met us for dinner just to socialize. They were a lovely couple and it was fun to chat. The following day, after our tour of Split and Trogir, our agent rented bikes for us and rode with us around the park he rides in daily and then we stopped for a beer. So overall, we would say great service, memorable trip, very safe, clean and friendly countries and well worth the money.

Croatia Family Vacation Review: Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Plitvice Lakes, Krka National Park, Oyster Farm, Private Tour

We had a fantastic trip with the Zicasso travel company. They helped us plan the perfect itinerary for our family (two adults and three kids aged 17, 14, and 10). They listened to our desires for an active family vacation and went above and beyond with all of the details!

We spent two full weeks in Croatia and had so many memorable and beautiful experiences. They set up friendly, knowledgeable drivers in a comfortable air-conditioned van. The accommodations they booked were all fantastic, from boutique hotels in the middle of the old towns in Zadar and Split to larger resort hotels in Hvar and Dubrovnik.

Our favorite experiences were ones we would have never found on our own, including a private biking tour and dinner at a restaurant in old town Hvar, a boat ride to Trogir, and the Blue Lagoon out of Split, with a stop at the most marvelous island for the most impressive and fancy lunch I've ever had. Other highlights were a history and gastronomy tour in Split; a biking tour outside of Dubrovnik, followed by a cooking class and amazing home-cooked meal at a family home; a kayaking tour out of Hvar; a private boat tour to the Blue Cave, with snorkeling; and a visit to Mali Ston to enjoy fresh oysters on the boat of the oyster farm owner, who explained how they caught the oysters and treated us to the freshest oysters and mussels we've ever had!

Our contact from the travel agency was always very quick to answer questions before and during the trip.

We loved Croatia – the history is amazing, the people are friendly, the food is great, the architecture is stunning, the national parks are gorgeous, and there is so much to do and experience. Everywhere we went, we felt 100% safe, and everything was very clean. The Adriatic Sea has crystal-clear, beautiful water.

You absolutely must visit Plitvice Lakes (stunning waterfalls and lake) and Krka National Park if you have time. It is beautiful, less crowded than Plitvice, and teeming with frogs, which my boys loved finding.

Split was my absolute favorite city. It’s amazing how they have incorporated newer architecture among the centuries-old buildings for an amazing old-town experience. Dubrovnik has stunning ancient walls and fortresses, Zadar is beautiful and has a great waterfront promenade, and Hvar is a vibrant and fun beach town.

The travel agency always set us up with local guides and drivers who really added to our experience. We loved having private tours instead of being with a huge group!

I'm so glad we booked through them and would encourage others to do the same!
