Our travel planner did a fantastic job putting our 10 day itinerary together. We spent 3 night at each location: Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik. The hotels were great, the transportation seamless and excursions fantastic.

Our trip was flawless! Everything was organized perfectly. From the moment we were met at the airport upon arrival to the drop-off two weeks later, the experience was amazing.
Zicasso’s trip planner organized a fantastic itinerary, with thorough and enjoyable tours of Dubrovnik and Split; a private lunch at an oyster farm near Ston; a visit to a lovely winery with a wine tasting and delicious lunch; two days of sailing and boating, with day trips to the nearby islands, including lively Hvar; a day trip to a national park; and so much more. It was a perfect combination of relaxation, culture, and adventure.
Our agent was always a phone call or email away, and just a pleasure to work with. She adjusted our itinerary last minute based on the weather, changing the day of our boat tour because of rain. This, too, was seamless. We would highly recommend our agent and her staff.

We were three couples with extensive travel experience. This travel agent and her company rank at the top of the travel agencies we have used. Our agent is a Dubrovnik resident and very knowledgeable about local matters. Thus, she provided great insight and suggestions regarding our itinerary. Importantly, she was also very responsive to all of our pre- trip inquiries. Once we had our basic plans, our agent made us reservations at the best hotels and restaurants, obtained excellent drivers and transportation, engaged terrific guides, and arranged special events we will never forget. While we were on our trip, our travel agent stayed in contact with our guides to ensure that everything was going well, and she even met us when we arrived in Dubrovnik. Our trip can be broken into three parts. We began in Istria. There, the hotel in Rovinj is one of the nicest in Europe. It could be a destination itself. We toured the country-side with olive groves, vineyards, and charming villages. Truffle hunting was also special experience in area. We then traveled to Split and after a couple of days there, boarded our private catamaran for a week's tour of the islands. Our boat was new, clean, and large enough for six. The captain and hostess were great. This was great fun; the sea and the islands are beautiful. But we had two days of bad weather. Our boat captain told me that our travel agent contacted him to provide alternative experiences for us during that time at no expense to us. He stated that he had never dealt with a travel agent so willing to put the customer's interest ahead of her own. The last part of the trip was in Dubrovnik, with a day trip to Montenegro. Once again, the hotel and the restaurant reservations our agent arranged were wonderful. Throughout the transportation was in new, comfortable vehicles, and the drivers and guides spoke good English, were very knowledgeable, and quite friendly. Our travel agent took care of every detail and it was clear to us that she genuinely cared that our trip took place seamlessly.

This was an overall outstanding trip and outstanding travel agency. We spent two weeks in Croatia -- the first week sailing on a gulet from Dubrovnik to Split, and the second touring by land. The country is extremely diverse, with lots of interesting things to see. We had three generations traveling together, and Croatia offered enough to keep everyone entertained and having fun. I really had no idea what to expect about the country, and it was amazing. Beautiful scenery, wonderful coastline, lots of islands to explore, gorgeous national parks, cool cities, archeological treasures, and super food and wine. I will definitely return there. And the travel agency was absolutely first rate. The owner of the agency, planned the entire trip for us, and took care of our every need. She did a great job in meeting our request that we both see the major tourist sites, but also spend time in some "off-the-beaten-path" activities. The latter included hunting for truffles in the forest with a local truffle hunter and his dogs, a private wine tasting and outstanding tasting menu at Bibich Winery, and a wonderful family style meal in a restaurant situated in the middle of an olive grove The guides arranged for us were amazing too -- all very knowledgable, personable and with excellent English. Ditto for the gulet that our agent arranged for us -- both the boat and its crew were wonderful. Overall, this trip exceeded our expectations by far, and I simply can't say enough good things about our agent and her travel agency. She personally met us at the Dubrovnik airport when we arrived in Croatia, and kept close tabs on us throughout our stay. She is first rate -- very highly recommended.
