Our Italy travel company and our agent specifically, were great. They helped plan the perfect 20 Year Wedding Anniversary trip to Italy- really catering to our unique needs. Zicasso gave us several great options- but this travel company came up with the best itinerary for us. Balancing our desired activities, the locations, and budget were no small feat- but our travel company did outstanding. We spent 12 days touring Rome, Florence, Sienna (Tuscany), and Venice with two side trips to Cinque Terre and Modena/Ferrari. The transitions and day trips were flawless. We utilized private transfers and trains all without a hitch. The hotels chosen were outstanding- and fit our needs perfectly. We took an organic winery tour, a Chianti and Castles tour, a walking tour in Florence, and a tour of Ferrari and their museum. The only average experinence was the walking tours in Florence/Vatican. Florence was average because it was outside only and limited in what you could learn/see. The Vatican was just so crowded you couldn't hear and were being herded from room to room. They also provided a local cell phone we could use to find maps/look up things without costly roaming fees. I would highly recommend this agent and her team to customize the dream trip for you.

We had a wonderful family trip to Italy. We had a small group of 7 travelling. It was the first overseas trip for my 3 nieces. Our agent was fantastic. She was very responsive to our needs and planned an itinerary that was full of guided tours, but left plenty of time to explore on our own. We went to Rome, Pompeii, Amalfi, Florence and Venice. The hotels in the 3 cities were all in good locations for walking. All of the guides that provided the private tours for our little group were all very knowledgeable and friendly. It was nice having private tours with skip the line access to the museums. The only negative thing I can say is that the Vatican Museum was very over crowded and made it hard to see as much as we would have wanted to see. However, that does not reflect negatively on our agent or the company since that is out of their control. We still enjoyed visiting the Vatican and Museum and is a must see for anyone going to Rome.
On the recommendation of our agent, we drove down to the Amalfi Coast after our visit to Pompeii. That was well worth it. That area is so beautiful and we all agreed we would like to spend more time there.
We had beautiful weather the first half of the trip. However, upon arrival in Florence and Venice, the weather did not cooperate and we had rain and cooler temperatures. We had not packed for that type of weather, so we were all a little chilly the last couple of days. However, we did not let that dampen our enthusiasm or keep us from getting out and seeing things. I will definitely pack better in the future.
Overall, I was very pleased with our agent and the services our agents provided. Everything went flawlessly and effortlessly for us thanks to our Italy travel agents. We would definitely use their services again if/when we go back to Italy.

Overall, the trip was just what we wanted; an overview of several places in Europe for our honeymoon, many of which we'd happily return to later in our married life. It was *exhausting*, but we knew that going in. We left a lot up to the travel agency's judgment, and, for the most part, they did well. However, there were several issues we had during the trip:When we got to Rome, the agency had given us the wrong address for our hotel. If we had gone to the address we were given, we would have been an hour and a half from Rome! Fortunately, we got a hold of the agency and they were able to give us the right address, to a wonderful hotel two blocks from the train station, and walking distance from the Coliseum.Several times, our train tickets were in facing seats, not seats next to each other. The worst was, our last two train trips had us in seats in completely different rows, so we had to beg our fellow travelers to be able to sit together. Finally, this was our honeymoon, but, out of twelve hotels, ten had us in SEPARATE TWIN BEDS. We found out towards the end of our trip that European hotels typically have two twin beds in their rooms, and that a full-size bed is typically a special request, but we booked our trip months in advance, and our agency clearly didn't get the message to our hotels.

The trip was generally well executed. The private transportation was prompt and dependable. The hotels were fine (Rome was better than Florence, which lacked AC in the rooms) and well located. We appreciated the daily itinerary reminders on WhatsApp.
We were disappointed that there was no customized treasure hunt for the kids at the Vatican as advertised. It was just a regular private tour with no special, child-focused content/activity. This was one of the main reasons we picked this travel company over the other travel agency, so a bummer it didn’t happen.
There was also a miss with our cooking class. While we had an exceptional time with the chef, we didn’t get to do the “pick out the food at the local market” part since it was a national holiday and the market was closed. That is something the travel company should have caught upfront and adjusted the itinerary around, in my opinion.
My final qualm is around Cinque Terre. We were told (even after pushing back) that it wouldn’t be a good idea to stay a night or two there because restaurants and other venues would not yet be open. However, the villages were bustling and active; we definitely should have spent more time there.
