Your flight lands at Jorge Chavez International Airport, where your private transfer greets you upon arrival. The city extends from the shores of the Pacific to the rising hills around the Rimac district. The aroma of freshly squeezed lime emanates from the central market. You check into the comforts of your luxurious hotel overlooking the charming waves splashing against the seaside cliffs of the Miraflores neighborhood. Your guide meets you in the lobby, eager to introduce you to the variety of districts in the city, each containing a distinctive connection to the city’s rich culture, whether from the Andes in the south, the desert to the east, or the nearby coastal plains. Walk along the Malecon, seaside boardwalk, to enjoy the stunning view of the cobalt waters. A statue of young lovers known as “El Beso,” decorates Love Park. Enjoy an introductory tour of the city to learn about Peruvian culture and the melting pot of traditions inside the contemporary neighborhoods of Lima. The following day, your guide escorts you through the remarkable remnants of the colonial squares and fabulous spirit of the past and present in the neighborhoods of San Isidro and the Central Market.

Peru, Galapagos / Ecuador Vacation Review: Lima, Amazon, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Quito

We just returned from a trip to Peru and the Galapagos Islands. We visited Lima, the Amazon, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Cusco, with an overnight stay in Quito.

The Zicasso-recommended travel agency created the perfect itinerary for us. All of the transitioning from place to place was seamless, the hotels were beautiful, the recommendations for restaurants were great, and the guides we had were amazing. They were so enthusiastic and willing to share their knowledge about past and current history. We were so impressed with our travel agency that we are already considering our next journey with them.

Travel Review: Luxury Peru, Ecuador, & Galapagos Islands Tour, Quito, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cooking Class
We had an unforgettable journey to Peru and Ecuador, thanks to our travel specialist. Every detail, experience and guide were exactly as we expected and beyond! Knowing and trusting that our travel specialist understood and designed a perfect experience, took away all the planning/travel anxieties — the details were already completed, booked and perfectly designed for a relaxing, memorable travel experience. We were immersed in Incan tradition and welcomed by a village outside of the Sacred Valley, explored the mystery and beauty of Machu Picchu, taken to the market in Cusco then learned to cook a Peruvian meal with Pisco sours, stepped on the equator in Quito, and finally saw amazing animals and touched the softest, whitest sand we’ve ever seen in the Galápagos Islands. The guides were so friendly and informative, the hotels were elegant and peaceful, and the cruise in the Galapagos was educational and relaxing. Thanks to our travel specialist, it was a trip that will be with us forever! We will highly recommend this travel company to anyone wanting to explore South America.

Review: Tour of Peru & The Galapagos Islands, Cusco, Quito, Machu Picchu, Cruise, Wildlife

My husband and I took a 10-day trip to Ecuador and Peru in August 2017.  We began in Quito, Ecuador visited the equator,  and took a 5-day Galapagos cruise.  After that, we traveled on to Peru, visiting Cusco and Machu Picchu.  We had many flights, buses, trains, taxis, boats to get us to our destinations and could not be more pleased with how smoothly and easily all of this took place.  There wasn't a time that we felt "on our own" to manage for ourselves and were on most occasions personally met and greeted by a tour representative to make sure we were where we needed to be

Ecuador, Peru Travel Review: Galapagos, Chinchero, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Uros Community, Textile Weavers, Floating Islands, 16 Nights

Our trip was beyond awesome. We made memories for a lifetime in Peru and the Galápagos Islands. Standing on the equator in Quito and the different experiments on the equator were a hit with kids and adults alike. There was excellent planning and execution by our Zicasso travel specialists. All the guides and excursions were great and we made good friends with them. They went above and beyond to recover our (lost/forgotten) items in a hotel and plane. Two thumbs up.
