The trip itself was a 5/10 scale. I would have planned our trip differently. We moved around from Hotel to Hotel our first week 4 times!! I was done, it was not relaxing. If I wanted that type of tour I would of booked with a large group. And the tour company which was booked for our sites that week was like a cattle call and the tour guide did the tour in 4 different languages. By the time english came around it was 2 sentences compared to 5-10 min. in other languages. I ended up using Google to acquire my information on the sites. We wanted private tours which was done toward the end of our trip. Unfortunately by that time I was on my last nerve. Private tours were requested by us, but if that was not available then an all english tours should have been done.
The Hotel in Athens: Stayed 2x's for 1 night. Positive: good food and good people. Negative: Horrible beds and Noisy room on street side.
Private Tour in Athens at Acropolis was Marvelous!! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
The Hotel in Delphi: Positive: good pool, room size bigger, ok food Negative: Horrible beds, blow dryer horrible and ancient. Tour Company was marginal (female)! Multi language,
The Hotel in Meteora: Positive: Food ok, pool area nice. Tour Company "GO Travel" (male) Horrible! Multi Language.
Hotel in Crete: Quaint and Nice. The accommodations were lovely. Beds hard but they had a memory foam topper we requested for the bed and bed was comfortable.
Private Tour: Knossos Castle Tour was Marvelous!! The tour guide (female) was great.
Private Tour listed was not done. It was supposed to be of surrounding towns and culture but ended up being of one town Margarita and a cooking lesson in someones home. That was nice but not planned.
Hotel in Santorini: Nice Accommodations but NOISY!! Party all night and above us a restaurant which went all night! Again beds are hard.
Private Tour: Catamoran cruise was very good, I would recommend it. The around town was ok, 6/10 scale. But on that tour with lunch being served best for them to ask what we would like to eat. They automatically served fish to us, and my husband doesn't eat fish and I really did not like the fish they served. We were able to change our selection, but it was a little uncomfortable to request change.

Zicasso’s travel company arranged a tour that aligned exactly with our needs. We wanted a balance of history, sights, culture, food, beach, museums, and archaeology, and they delivered. It was a consultative process – the sheer number of options for islands and experiences can be daunting – and they helped us make adjustments after the first proposed itinerary felt a little too ambitious, without enough downtime, especially with two teenagers.
Our agent ultimately recommended Athens and Crete, and arranged a series of private guided tours and transportation, so we had very little to worry about. The accommodations they booked for us were very nice and our guides were excellent. The tours gave us a great diversity of experiences, from the historical to the current, day-to-day, with some time for beach and shopping. Even the jet-lagged teenagers liked the tours and museums, which were just long enough, without going past their interest threshold. The amazing food was a highlight woven throughout the trip.
From the first call through to the end of the trip, the team at the travel company was accessible and communicative, and able to quickly respond to unexpected changes, eg, the guide for one of our tours got sick and they were able to make a short-notice change to arrange another tour at the same time without missing a beat. I would work with their team again and highly recommend them to travelers who are new to Greece.

I used this travel agency to book our 10 day vacation to Greece. My husband and I have never been there and you can only do so much online research without getting exhausted.
We saw the reviews for this agency and decided to book with them. This is the best travel agency I have ever worked with. VERY organized and VERY responsive. Their travel specialist is with you every step of the way. I also discovered that we got the best pricing on everything we booked via this travel company vs. doing it ourselves online!
We spent 2 days in Athens, 3 days in Mykonos and 4 days in Santorini. Every spot is worth going to - do not skip one!
Athens: We did a private walking tour in Athens - Our guide was excellent - we played Greek lotto, drank with the locals and went to the local farmer's market. I highly recommend a private walking tour and to request this guide!
Mykonos: We flew to Mykonos and did a cooking class in a private home at Myconian Spiti. That was so fun and definitely recommend and be sure to come hungry. We visited Jackie O Beach which is an adventure in itself and did a lot of walking and drinking downtown.
Santorini: We took a boat to Santorini - if you get seasick do not take a boat -fly to Santorini. The seas were calm and I still got sick:(. If I could have extended my trip one more day it would be in Santorini. We did a wine tour and a private hike of the caldera tour. Both are a must so you can get all the information on the city.
All of our hotel accommodations were First Class and worth every penny especially after travelling so far.
I highly recommend the resort we stayed at in Santorini - service and accommodations cannot be beat!
At every turn we were greeted on time and did not have to look once for our meet up person. Every driver already had our itinerary and or boarding passes printed for us.
Don't stress planning, have this travel specialist and his company do everything for you - you will not be disappointed!!

We decided to take a semi-last-minute trip to Greece, with only a month to plan. I contacted Zicasso, who put me in touch with their travel partner. Immediately, the agent reached out to me. With one phone call, he understood what type of trip we would like.
We had very specific requests based on the fact that we were taking two of our older children to Greece for the first time, as well as traveling with my 84-year-old mom, “yiayia”, who was limited in what she could do physically. We wanted to “see” history and have a bit of relaxation.
Within a week, our agent sent me an amazing Itinerary! A week in Elounda, Crete, staying in a private villa at a five-star resort! Our villa was luxury at its finest, a four-bedroom, three-bath villa with spacious rooms, a living area, full kitchen, and loft. We had our own private pool, with a semi-private beach, along with two wonderful staff to attend to our every need! Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay, with a choice of having it at our villa or at the main hotel site. We were treated like family at the villas. The staff were amazing!
Our agent also arranged two tours for us. For our tours, we were met by our private driver and private guides. Both experiences were great! We experienced the history of Crete, as well as various villages. Our drivers were considerate, keeping the car cool and comfortable, and offering us plenty of water to keep us hydrated in the heat. Our tour guides were personable and warm. Our authentic lunches were amazing!
We did not have to worry about yiayia at all as the staff took very good care of her at the villa because the tours were too physical for her. We did not want to leave Elounda. The village was nice and everyone was so warm and kind! We will absolutely return to Elounda and the hotel!
After Crete, we embarked on the next leg of our journey. Our operator arranged a flight to Athens with comfortable seats. We were picked up by our private driver who quickly became like family as we spent two days with him. The first day he drove us to Delphi, imparting knowledge along the way. Once there, we met up with our guide who was full of information about Delphi and ancient and modern Greece.
From Delphi we traveled to Meteora to spend the night before a tour of the beautiful monastery perched on high cliffs. You truly felt so close to heaven on the cliffs! Our guide was amazing and we also made friends with a nun who taught us facts about our Greek Orthodox faith that we didn’t even know! She was full of wisdom!
We then started the journey with our guide back to Athens, stopping in Thermopylae at the famous site of Leonidas and the 300. After another informative day with our guide, we arrived in Athens. We were sad to leave our new friend. He said not to say goodbye, but to see you again.
Athens was a bustling city with the best food! We spent lots of time shopping in the Plaka.
Our agent also arranged a private tour of the Acropolis Museum and the historic site. Again, mom was not able to climb to the Acropolis, but was able to sit comfortably in a café.
The next day we had to leave for home. Our operator arranged for our driver to pick us up and take us to the airport. To our delight, our driver was the same as we had before! We were happy to spend the time talking on the drive. We told him we would be back next year and expect him to be part of our journey!
Our travel agent did an amazing job arranging our trip! We could not have had a better time in Greece! We will always contact him for all of our travels to Greece!
We highly recommend them for all your travel needs in Greece! Thank you!
