Summer Fun in Greece: Vacation Crafted for June Travels

After having a relaxing morning to spend at your leisure, a gourmand guide will meet you at your hotel to lead you on a culinary tour of the city. This tour will include a selection of ten tastings that will all be hand-selected by you with the help of your expert guide. From treasured Greek favorites, such as souvlaki and baklava, to some selections that you may have never even heard of before, this culinary journey will be exciting, eye-opening, and satisfying. Following your tour, you will partake in a private cooking class under the tutelage of a master chef.

Today, you will take a break from the finger food and cuisine of Greece to experience the country’s flourishing wine scene. After breakfast and a leisurely morning, you will visit a few wineries just outside of Athens for private tours and tastings. Your first destination will be a private estate of lush vineyards that proudly features its own label of Greek wine. Your sommelier guide will introduce you to the inner workings of the winery, including a behind-the-scenes tour, and you will have a tasting once your tour concludes. After wrapping up your day at the winery, you will spend the rest of the day at Porto Rafti beach.

You will have an early morning so that you can sail to the island of Paros. Upon your arrival, your guide will lead you on a leisurely stroll of the enchanting enclave. This tour will lead you to many of Paros’ charming villages before relaxing at the beach. Following your walking tour, you will have some free time to explore the town at your preferred pace before indulging in a meal with a resident family. Your gracious host will prepare an authentic Mediterranean meal that you will share together.

After a casual breakfast this morning, you will visit the charming fishing village of Naoussa, Lefkes, and a beautiful beach. In Naoussa, your guide will lead you on a brief tour of the village before turning you lose so that you can explore its boutique shops and quaint cafes. If seafood is something that entices you, then your guide can lead you to a local cafe to sample some of the freshest seafood that Greece has to offer. You will then conclude your day with a swim at Piso Livadi.

After having a leisurely morning to do some last-minute exploring in Paros, you will transfer to Mykonos. You will first settle in to your accommodation before going on a tour of the island’s noteworthy and iconic sites. Your guide will lead you to lesser-known villages, tucked-away harbors, and several secluded beaches. Your tour will also include Panagia Tourliani Monastery, Mykonos Town, Maou, and a stop at the village of Ano Mera. For dinner this evening, a local family will welcome you into their home to share a traditional BBQ dinner.

After breakfast this morning, your guide will lead you to a traditional farm. Upon your arrival, you will be introduced to the friendly owner, who will lead you on a hands-on tour before inviting you to try your hand at farming tasks. This will be your chance to see what daily life on the farm is really like. Afterward, you will be able to visit with the resident farm animals. To conclude your tour, you will visit the site’s vegetable garden, where you will be able to pick something from the June harvest.

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the airport so that you can connect with your flight home.
