Review: Luxury Mother-Son Trip to India, Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai, Agra, Delhi, Ranthambore National Park, Chand Baori

My adult son and I just returned from a 12 day trip to India arranged by this travel agent.

New Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikiri - Chand Baori - Ranthambore National Park - Jaipur - Jodhpur - Jain Temples at Ranakpur - Udaipur - Mumbai

I requested the step well, Chand Baori.  It should be on all tours driving the road between Agra and Jaipur.  It's not far off the main road and well worth the short detour.

We were met by tour reps at every stop, every train station, and every airport.  Someone was always there to either meet us upon arrival or to see us off.  The guides were all very good and the drivers were excellent.

This agent planned our trip from start to finish and we had a wonderful time.  I'm returning to India next year and she is now making all the necessary arrangements for what will be a  much longer trip.  There's  so more much I want to see.

Luxury Solo Trip to India Review, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park
The travel designer and his team at this tour company organized a great trip that was well paced and covered the highlights of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and a visit to Ranthambore National Park in one week.  Their team was very responsive and accommodating of my requests and preferences while arranging the itinerary and hotels.  The local guides were all very knowledgeable and the driver was excellent.  While at Ranthambore there was a mishap when the safari driver (organized separately via the Forest Department of Rajasthan) forgot to pick up me up causing me to miss the morning safari on the only day that I was scheduled to go on drives. The travel designer and the local guide filed a complaint and reconfigured my schedule so that I could go on a make-up safari drive the next morning (though sadly I didn’t get to see any tigers) without missing out on any of the items on my itinerary.  I would highly recommend this tour company to any friends or family planning a trip to India.

India Travel Review: Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur

Our recent trip to India will always be remembered as the happiest three weeks of our lives thanks to everyone at the India travel company that we used. The professional and personal attention we received from our first contact, during the planning stages and during our entire stay was beyond any hope or expectation. Arriving and departing from Delhi, we visited Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Jodphur and Udaipur, covering great distances within Rajasthan. We traveled with confidence and comfort in the company of an extraordinary gentleman, who we met as our driver and left as our friend.  Each day was an adventure led by the same local representative for that area, all of whom have worked for them many years. Degreed historians and patient, good natured ambassadors to Indian culture, they were remarkable hosts and companions who contributed greatly our trip of a lifetime.  Staying at some of the finest luxury properties in India with the advantage of our association with the travel company, we were offered every possible courtesy and consideration and were able to enjoy the "down time" we had built into our itinerary.

While this was our first trip to India, it will not be our last and we can't imagine doing it without this tour company.

Travel Review: Luxury India Family Trip, Agra, Rajasthan, Jaipur, Delhi, Ranthambore, Tiger Safari, Local Culture & Cuisine

Our accommodations were excellent. We had a fantastic time in Rajasthan and Agra. Our travel company exceeded our expectations of the trip. Everything was well planned from start to finish. We were received at Delhi airport; and until we reached our departure airport at Jaipur, everything was taken care of. This allowed me and my family to just focus on having fun. At every hotel, we had a local representative from the company receive us and take us to the lobby, while the bags were being sent to our rooms. Th prep also arranged our check-in into the hotel while we sipped our welcome juice in the beautiful hotel lobby. The rep also explained our itinerary for the next 2 days there. The guide would arrive promptly as per the time decided. The guides selected were great; gave us information while in the car and at the site; and even took us shopping to the local stores. Having a personal guide throughout allowed us to just enjoy our sightseeing. The guide took care of our tickets, and entry into the very crowded monuments. We had a 11 stare tempo traveller with us during the entire trip; this was extremely comfortable and my kids had flexibility of walking around in the tempo on long rides. It was also good on the bumpy roads between Agra and Ranthambore. Our accommodations were excellent too. The hotel in Agra and especially the hotel in Ranthambore were gorgeous. The people were extremely friendly and accommodated us very well. The hotel in Jaipur was beautiful; they even allowed us late check-in during this busy time free of charge. Our hotel rooms were upgraded by our agent in 2 of the 3 hotels, which were just beautiful. Our tour designer and his team were very responsive to our needs right from the time we decided to go with their company until our trip was done. Someone would call me at least every other day to check and see if everything was going ok. I even changed my itinerary a day before and our tour designer not only made the change, but also arranged for a guide to go with us at our recommended time. All in all, it was truly a luxurious experience. We felt like the Rajasthani royals!!

India Luxury Vacation Review: Taj Mahal, Temples, Walking Tours, Cuisine, Culture, 10-Day Trip

Our trip to northern India (Delhi, Mathura, Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, and Udaipur) was extremely well planned and executed! We are very grateful to Zicasso's travel partner for making this memorable experience possible for our family.

Right from the initial planning of the itinerary to the last-minute dinner reservations and everything in between, it was handled with so much attention to detail. The travel planner was extremely patient with all my requests and gave some excellent suggestions along the way.

The execution of the trip was smooth and any small issues that came up were taken care of efficiently. The India team was friendly and communicative with all of the day-to-day logistics.

The hotels were all unique and top-notch in service, comfort, and food. Our travel planner helped us pick hotels that gave us a diverse and rich experience, from brand names to luxury boutique hotels.

Overall, the food was excellent at all the hotels, especially the breakfasts. We had an abundance of choice. And all dinner reservations worked out great. Reservations for dinners were all made before we left, with great choices at the hotels and outside. This was essential since we were traveling during the peak season.

The guides at all the locations were very friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable of local history. They did a great job of fitting in all our needs and taking on-spot decisions to avoid crowds and traffic. This is critical in India and it helped make our experience very enjoyable.

Last but not least, our driver was extremely efficient and very friendly. We loved having his company for 10 days. Overall, a very memorable trip of a lifetime!

India Vacation Review: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Amritsar, Varanasi, Bharatpur, Kolkata, Taj Mahal, Golden Temple, National Parks Tours

We just finished a 40 day trip to India (February 2017) visiting Delhi, Bharatpur, Agra, Jaipur, Amritsar, Varanasi and Kolkata along with eight National Parks (Keoladeo, Ranthambore, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Panna, Sunderban and Kaziranga) and traveled by either car or rail (we had five separate nights on a train plus one evening train ride). We had spent a couple of months in early 2016 planning this trip with this travel agency and all we can say is that everything worked out perfectly.  There was someone to meet us at the Delhi airport and there was always someone to take us to the train and to meet us when the train arrived.  The drivers and guides always showed up on time as planned/or as agreed.  The drivers were outstanding. They were safe drivers and also polite, courteous and informative. The guides were also outstanding, friendly, polite and very, very knowledgeable.  The hotels chosen for us with the exception of one were excellent although in the National Parks the accommodation may run out of hot water.  We are extremely satisfied with every aspect of this trip and would definitely use this company again.  We were in contact via e-mail as well as phone and I always up to date as to the status of the trip.
