Wow! I cannot recommend this company enough for your international trips. We were blown away by the quick response times when planning, the detailed itineraries, and their ability to make our dream trip become a reality. We started planning late, and they were still able to create and book our dream trip in less than two months!
We knew we wanted to go to Switzerland and northern Italy, but honestly weren't sure what areas to visit or what activities to do. Our travel agent, through Zicasso, created a dream 10-day itinerary for us, starting in Zurich, then traveling to Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen Valley, Zermatt, Lucerne, Lake Como, and ending in Milan.
They gave us options of activities to do in those cities, with detailed descriptions and recommendations. We chose a lot of mountain expeditions, which we were well pleased with. They provided other suggestions for things to do in the areas we visited and even provided restaurant recommendations. We were so impressed by how quickly they adjusted the itinerary if we requested a change, and they were so accommodating.
They were able to book us a private guided tour of The Last Supper painting in Milan, which was a highlight of the trip! We loved every activity planned and had our tickets sent to us ahead of time to print out or download, which made everything so easy. The detailed itinerary had maps, photos of buildings, walking routes, etc, and was so easy to navigate. We had the smoothest trip because of that detailed itinerary. The trip planner reached out to us several times while we were abroad just to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly.
The hotels were also amazing! Every single one had an amazing breakfast and a beautiful view. We were upgraded twice! They only use four- or five-star hotels, and I think that is a huge bonus. We were so happy with our hotels and hotel rooms. We were also incredibly happy with the price of the trip and the ease of booking and payment.
Overall, I have been telling everyone to use this company for their trips and we will definitely be using Zicasso again! Thank you, Zicasso, for the trip of a lifetime!

The trip was good and the travel company did their job well. I'm particularly pleased with their recommended hotel location in all 5 cities - Rome, Florence, Milan, Interlaken and Lucerne. The hotels are centrally located and provides easy access to most of the desired attractions.
However, improvement can be made if we are informed clearly that certain area of visit are really really near the hotel, and easily accesible by wheelchair so that transport may not be required.
To be precise, I've enquired about visiting Trastevere and were informed that we need transport arrangement to get there. Luckily the hotel staff in Rome gave us both directiions and restaurant recommendations as it's wonderfully near our hotel and we managed to had lunch there with our wheelchair bound son.
Similarly our morning date with a chocolate facility in Interlaken was also very near the hotel of stay, hence the car is not required for that morning.
Perhaps more detail should be given so that travellers can make their own decision on the requirement of the car as I understand these constitute a big part of the cost when making the quotation for each customer's travel plans.

~~I traveled alone on a custom-designed trip to Florence, Venice, and Varenna on Lake Como in Italy and to Switzerland on the Bernina Express. I gave a list of initial sites to see, and the agent at this travel company gave some suggestions, one of which was Lake Como. I was very happy that I added it in. All of the lodgings, tours, vouchers for sites, and train tickets were correctly set up and worked out well. The pace was good, leaving me some time to work in other sites or to rest. All the lodgings were within walking distance of the major attractions which was great. It was a trip that had a lot of walking.

Our trip to Switzerland and Northern Italy could not have been better planned by our travel agency and their representative. We had been to Italy before and had visited most of the major cities and sites but had never been north of Milan. Having never vacationed in Switzerland we thought it would be a good idea to combine the two and that’s exactly the trip our travel agency provided us.
Our overnight stays included Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Lake Garda, Radda in Chianti & Lake Como. Day trips and activities were planned from each stop with enough rest time in between for us to recharge.
We’re not fond of big chain hotels and expressed our interest in staying in smaller boutique style accommodations located within walking distance of major sites. Our hotels ran the gamut from a palazzo in the Chianti and a Grand Hotel in Interlaken to amazing resorts on Lake Garda and Lake Como.
All the drivers and guides who took care of us were experienced, professional and a joy to spend time with. It was obvious from day one our travel agency had really listened to us regarding the type of vacation we were looking for and had gone above and beyond in providing exactly that. They contacted us numerous times to make sure everything was going well and provided us with a 24/7 phone number which we could use to contact them if we had any questions or concerns.
The agency even took the time to book all our dinner reservations in advance based on our requests. They provided us with confirmations for all activities and a detailed itinerary.
We would definitely recommend this company to friends and family and would not hesitate to use their services again when we return to Italy and/or Switzerland.

saving the day!! Our travel agent and her team were over-the-top excellent!! Not only was the entire trip planned with great detail, they provided us with all of the rail passes, lift tickets and excursion passes in organized packets that made each day lincredibly simple and organized. Their input during the trip planning stage was invaluable. We had no idea the best cities to stay along our route or how to travel from point A to B and our agent's recommendations were spot on. The only glitch in our trip was the weather (super heat wave) and the one hotel reserved in grindelwald (a town convenient to interlaken activities but sadly where no hotels offer air conditioning. This room was also so small the bed barely fit in the room at an angle and it was located on the main street in grindelwald which for a tiny town is super loud and busy at 6 am. The team, on a sunday, called around and found us an airconditioned suite on a lake in nearby Thun, a lovely lakeside town, saving the day and the trip!!
It was truly a magical trip for our family and I cannot recommend this travel agency any higher! They are terrific!!
