Exclusive Safari in Masai Mara’s Private Conservancies

What to expect on this itinerary
The Masai Mara cascades through Kenya as a vast savannah that provides one of Africa's finest safari experiences. The landscape is divided into the Masai Mara Reserve and private Masai Mara conservancies, all unfenced lands with overwhelming wildlife abundance and an incredible intimacy. Safari here is exclusive and then enhanced further by the unique activities on offer. This 10-day safari will take you to four Mara conservancies, and provide luxurious accommodation and private game viewing.

Mara North Conservancy – First Impressions
Anticipation will be high as you fly across the Mara and the famous safari destination begins to expand beneath your eyes. After your early morning landing at Nairobi International, you will be transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport, where a light aircraft will complete your journey into the wild. Your first impression will be the scale, both from the plane window and then from the ground as you transfer to the camp. It will seem to go on forever as nothing interrupts the grassland savanna except for Africa's giants, of course. Elephants and giraffe will grace the horizon, a lion pride will lounge along a riverbank, and the herds are often scattered far across the landscape.
Rustic and laid-back, your first luxury camp is ideal for an immersion in the landscape and provides a slightly wild base among the distant lion roars. There is no compromise on comfort so you will get all of the amenities required for an easy stay in the wilderness. Hot showers, fantastic vistas, luxury tents, and animals will be all around as you relax at the camp before you enjoy your first real game drive in the afternoon, a chance to match the impressions of scale with close-up encounters.

Our safari travel planner was fantastic! She provided lots of different options, told us the pros and cons of each, and enabled us to make a well informed decision to plan our trip.
As a result, we had an incredible trip. Our stay at the Saruni Samburu lodge was picturesque, romantic, and exactly as our travel planner had described. The Olare Mara Kempinski resort was in the middle of wildlife - with hippos, monkeys, and lions right outside in the evening - and the Mara overall was wetter than Samburu and had a lot more wildlife, which is why our travel planner recommended it and we were grateful for the selection.
All the travel transfers were also pre-arranged and worked perfectly to get us from place to place.
Overall, our trip to Kenya and Tanzania was the trip of a lifetime, and we're very appreciative of the package that our safari travel planner put together. Thanks!

Our Africa safari travel agency did a great job for us arranging our first trip to Kenya. The pace and logistics were perfect for us. We saw thousands of animals, including the big five (even three of the elusive leopard), thousands of wildebeests, a couple of crossings. We spent time alone with the Maasai in one of their villages. We made many new friends. Another plus was the fact that each camp became progressively nicer, though all had their advantages. We were sad to leave the last camp in Naboisho and our guide.
We have many cherished memories and experiences thanks to our travel agent.

From the initial email contact and telephone conversation with the Zicasso travel agent, we could sense we were in good hands. He was very responsive to our ideas about a trip to Africa and his vast knowledge of the continent was immediately evident. Based on the information provided he quickly turned around a proposed itinerary for a trip to Kenya. Ultimately, we decided on safaris in Amboseli, Lewa, and Maasai Mara. Each location was beautiful in its own unique way. The accommodations were more than comfortable and the food was excellent. The Kenyan people were beyond friendly and the wildlife viewing was amazing.
In addition, we got some sense of the local cultures and were very pleased to learn that a portion of the revenue generated by our stays in each location went to the local conservation efforts.
The logistics of the trip were seamless, starting with our arrival in Nairobi very late on a Monday night, through to our return to the Nairobi airport on the evening of our departure.
The team at the travel agency handled all of the details and enabled our family to truly experience the trip of a lifetime. We would recommend this travel agency without reservation.

February 2021, I submitted a request through Zicasso to plan a group trip to Kenya,Tanzania and Zanzibar for June 2022. I was matched with Maurice. This travel company has surpassed our expectations and provided an amazing experience we will never forget. The camps were top rated, and we had a fantastic time there. In fact, all the accommodations we stayed at were phenomenal. They were beautiful, clean, each room had an amazing view, the staff were very attentive, and the food was top notch. Maurice even planned a few surprises for our group along the way.
Maurice booked all of our in-country transfers (both by car and plane). All we had to do was show up at the lobby of each accommodation at the time specified and everything else was taken care of. Our drivers were exceptional as well. We spent time in Amboseli National Park, Maasai Mara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and ended on the beach of Zanzibar. Our drivers at Amboseli had many years’ experience, they were very knowledgeable about all of the animals. Within 5 minutes landing at the air strip, they took us straight to see many of the animals, especially a family of cheetahs eating their prey! Our drivers at the Maasai Mara were great as well. We told him we wanted to see a lots of lions and they didn’t disappoint. On our morning game drive, we saw lions feasting on a buffalo, we also saw a leopard with a vulture in a tree. Our drivers in the Serengeti & Ngorongoro were excellent as well, they took us to all the best locations to capture the animals. We were even able to catch a glimpse of a rhino in the distance. They did their best to ensure we were able to see the big 5 and the ugly 5. We then ended the trip visiting Zanzibar’s beaches, a spice tour & Stone Town.
I highly recommend using Maurice and this travel company for travel tours, safaris and vacations in the future and look forward to working with him again! Asante sana!
