Travel Agent Review: Luxury Kenya Africa Safari, 12-Day Trip
Amazing trip from beginning to the end!  We stayed in beautiful camps, gourmet meals, great staff and fantastic guides.  Every detail of the arrangements for the trip were handled perfectly by Zicasso. from airport pickup at the beginning, to transportation to the camps, to our pickup at the airport to get us home.

Review: Africa Safari, Kenya, Wildlife, Local Crafts

We had an amazing trip, every detail was arranged for us. The camps chosen took good care of us, we felt safe and welcomed. The best camp was  in the Maasai Mara. The staff there were particularly welcoming and friendly, from the moment we were picked up from our flight we knew we were in good hands. The tents were all excellent, food at the Masai Mara and Oll Pejeta were stand outs. Our experience with the Elephant Camp was not so good. The people were not as welcoming and the food was often cold (breakfast). The staff didn’t seem as happy as the other two camps.

Travel Review: Africa Safari Honeymoon, Tanzania, Kenya, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Masai Mara

Our trip was amazing!!! All the chosen hotels were exactly as great as described. The game drives were amazing because our guide really understood that this was a very important part of the experience for us so he took us to all the spots where he believed we would have the best chances of finding the animals that we wanted to see and nailed it!!! He was also very respectful of what we wanted to avoid and never pushed us to go to the turist traps and souvenir shops that we hate.

In Kenya the hotel forgot to pick us up so we were left for 45 minutes in Olare airstrip in the middle of nowhere and I believe that was something the travel agency should have been on top of considering there was not even a hut to take shelter in and we where surrounded by animals. But that was the only bump in the road.

Everything was just beyond awesome and we are extremely happy with the agency we chose.

Thanks for the best honeymoon full of unforgettable experiences!!!

Travel Review: Luxury Africa Safari, Kenya, Samburu National Reserve, Maasai Mara

We used this travel agency to organize a private 13 night, road-safari in Kenya this past August. We stayed at high end, mostly exclusive resorts and everything but airfare and gratuity was included in the package.

The travel agency exceeded my expectations in every way. I was a bit hesitant to book with them (via Zicasso) as they didn’t have a lot of info online in terms of reviews or chatter, but I am so glad I did. I saved literally thousands of dollars by bypassing the middle man. Apparently many of the big tour operators use outfits like this travel agency, add a 25%+ markup and then resell you the package. This was a very pricey trip so I got 4 other bids before I selected one – and many of the same resorts were included on the various itineraries, which is how I know I got a great deal.

In terms of the itinerary, Samburu was our favorite part of the trip by far (not the Maasai Mara, like I was expecting). In part this had to do with the super cool landscape and the superb hotel (Elephant Bedroom Camp) but also because of the diversity of the animals. The Mara was our second favorite, and we preferred Elewana Sand River resort over Kichwa Tembo because it was more exclusive and not so touristy. Old Pejeta was cool to see the last Northern White Rhinos but didn’t love the enclosed aspect of the conservatory (though understand that’s the point).

I’m petrified of small airplanes so my partner and I ended up doing a private driving safari. He loved the Land Cruiser as it was very durable on the rough roads and fit his 6ft 7in frame. I liked it too but it was a lot of time in the car going from park to park. My choice though given the plane issue I have. The best part of the drive was our guide. He was just great. Knowledgeable, funny, perfect English and he knew EVERYBODY. It really came in handy as he was able to get tips on sightings of elusive animals. :-) Which, BTW were amazing.

Simply put, this was an awesome trip and our agent, our guide and the travel agency team really delivered. I will for sure use them again.

Luxury Kenya Africa Safari Review: Maasai Mara National Reserve, 11-Day Vacation
The trip was great. We especially liked the Masai Mara part and our stay at the Olare Mara Kempinski Tent Camp. It was outstanding . The facilities, staff, food and guide were great. We saw an amazing amount of wildlife up close. Leopards, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, hyenas....This tour company did a great job. Our travel planner did an excellent  job organizing our trip and making changes when our flight to Nairobi was cancelled and we arrived a day late. Our guide was also great. Really an outstanding job by the tour company and their staff.
