Zicasso's travel agency exceeded all expectations! At every stop on our two-week journey, we had fantastic guides and well-planned visits. It was fabulous to walk up to any site we were visiting, have the tickets already in the hands of our trusty guides, and waltz right in. They were all knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed getting to know a bit about them and the places we toured. We loved our itinerary and felt we got a wonderful taste of Spain and Portugal. We have recommended our entire experience to friends, new and old!

Zicasso’s trip planner and her team curated our recent trip to Barcelona and Madrid. They did an outstanding job of making sure our needs were met. The boutique hotels were in wonderful locations and the transportation they arranged made it easy to get to our destinations. We had outstanding tour guides and saw a lot of art, architecture, and historical places. The tapas tour was a highlight for us! The trip application made it easy to keep track of all of the things we scheduled. Thank you for an excellent experience. We hope to book another trip through our travel company soon!

The itinerary, guides, and recommendations were all fantastic. The Zicasso travel company was extremely responsive and helpful, and I do not have a single thing to complain about. This was the best vacation I could have imagined, from start to finish, and Zicasso (and the travel company) took all the work and stress out of planning.

The trip was exceptional and, overall, our Zicasso travel agency did a great job. We only had one major glitch. The travel arrangements were great and the tours and guides were excellent. At the last minute, at our request, our agent even rearranged a couple of tours in Madrid to ensure we saw the Royal Palace.
The only issue we had was in the hotel chosen in Barcelona. We stressed that we wanted four- to five-star hotels when we started planning our trip last September. All the hotels were satisfactory until we got to Barcelona, where we were staying five nights. The hotel picked was old, drab, and had very few services (no bar and no minibar). I did not want to unpack my clothes there. Overall, an old, drab, and very subpar hotel. I texted and emailed our agent the first night we arrived as all in our party of four were extremely displeased. She replied that the hotel was in an excellent location, to which I replied that I didn’t want to stay in a bad hotel in any location. After a few exchanges, she agreed to try to find us something better. She did obtain reservations for us in a five-star hotel just 300 feet from the original hotel. The only negative to this trip was the hassle of arguing about hotels and then having to pay an additional 1,100 euros for something we thought had been covered. We did not appreciate the hassle when we clearly stated upfront what we wanted.
Again, the rest of the trip was exceptional. My comment would be to keep hotel quality consistent and include price so there are no surprises. Her staff, guides, and people handling transportation were all top-notch.

From the moment I contacted Zicasso (after lots of research) until we returned home, everything was simply amazing. I contacted Zicasso in January 2024 to help with a trip to Spain for May. They had two agents/agencies contact me via email and both followed up with phone calls.
Subsequently, they both sent itineraries to consider, followed by more phone calls and tweaking of the schedule. We chose to go with one of them. From the moment we landed in Lisbon to the moment we departed Barcelona nine days later, every detail was handled without a hitch. The cars/drivers to the hotel, airport, and train station were always right on time and the drivers were so very personable. We did three tours in Lisbon, two in Madrid, and three in Barcelona.
Every tour guide was nothing short of amazing in knowledge and engagement. We are older travelers (83 and 75) and we wanted to do as much as possible without wearing ourselves out. That was where the communication and planning with our travel team really proved invaluable.
Finally, I was amazed that the cost for all we experienced was well within our rather conservative budget. Rest assured, I will recommend and use the services of Zicasso in the future.
