Great trip! We had great hotels in good locations to be able to explore the cities we visited. It was well planned and the travel company took care of everything including a flight issue we had going from Madrid to Lisbon.

My family of 6 people (all adults) have taken this trip to northern Spain: Barcelona, Bilbao, Pamplona, San Sebastian, Biarritz, Monserrat. I am most satisfied with this travel agency and our tour company. The drivers and guides were knowledgeable and kind. The professional service we received will be always memorable.
The restaurant recommendations were also very welcome. Apart from the Michelin-starred restaurants whose reservations were made by me, the other restaurants recommended by our travel company were all on the mark as being very good.
I will be writing a separate review on Tripadvisor. Thank you for a great trip.

We had a wonderful two weeks in Spain, dividing our time between San Sebastián and Barcelona. As relatively inexperienced international travelers, we never could have put together such a great itinerary, nor handled all the small details, without the help of our planner and her company. Everything--from drivers and guides, to hotels and restaurant recommendations--was perfect. Of particular note: a last-minute flight cancellation from the USA necessitated a complete revision of our agenda. Our travel agent handled it graciously and quickly. We would not hesitate to recommend this company and this agent to others...and, if we are lucky enough to return to Spain...we will happily rely on them again!

From the first inquiry with our travel designer at this travel company, she took the time to find out what was important to us on the trip, how we liked to travel and what we hoped to see and do. She offered a custom itinerary, which included some items we may not have considered without her guidance. She talked with us several times by phone and helped to ease our pandemic-related concerns (i.e. what’s open, what will be limited etc.).
Due to COVID-19, it took two years for our trip to finally take place and when it did, the designer’s attention to detail was evident. Every transfer, guide, and activity took place without a hitch. She helped us navigate in-transit COVID-19 testing as required by the locations we visited. COVID-19 testing was a small interruption on the days we had to test, but we knew going in it would be worth it to be able to travel again.
The guides were all wonderful and we would specifically mention:
Our guide for pintxos tour and our guide for French Basque and La Rioja with a local tour agency in San Sebastian – both were outstanding
Our guide with a local agency in Porto – excellent recommendations on local restaurants; helped us call the medical center when a COVID test didn’t come back for one member of our group; enthusiastic and genuine; having WiFi in the vehicle was especially helpful in checking COVID results
Our guide with a Lisbon food tour – we’d adopt her if we could (see next question about her tour being a highlight of the trip)
Our guide in Lisbon was amazing for the history buffs in our group
The hotels the designer recommended were all in good locations for walking to the local sites and were exactly what we asked for in terms of having some character (boutique vs. chain).
We would highly recommend the travel designer to others and hope we can use her services again in the future.

My husband and I are seasoned travelers, speak Spanish and in our 80s. For a trip from Barcelona to Andorra to visit relatives and across northern Spain, we did not want the hassle of renting a car, figuring out routes, parking or making hotel reservations for 2 nights at mulit-destinations. What if I get the date wrong? How will I know which hotel? How do we get from Barcelona to Andorra to Santiago--bus, train, plane?
We also wanted the spontaneity of individual travel instead of a tour. I was so pleased when Zicasso connected me to this travel agency! All questions above solved immediately. Drivers were prompt, polite and enjoyable to talk to (English and Spanish). Guides were excellent and there where we needed them-- Leon, Bilbao for art and history, San Sebastián for walking on the Camino, Santiago for cruising the Tapas Bars and later exploring the coast to Biarritz.
The pacing was good--plenty of time to explore on our own. Best of all was the communication with our agent and her staff. Their responses were quick, clear and concise.
As a family or as an active/aging couple, This is the way to travel!
