Day 1

Cape Town – Relaxing Beneath Table Mountain

You will land in Cape Town, and the mountain will not disappoint. It stands high above the city as a vertiginous slab that will act as your compass point for the next four days. On an airport transfer, you will cruise parallel to it, staring one way at its frame and the other way towards the Atlantic. Your hotel will be in the V & A Waterfront, just footsteps away from the harbor. This very upmarket and safe part of the city is ideal for most visitors. A large pedestrianized area is packed with restaurants and cafes with some great choices for your evening meal that will be overlooking the yachts. It will all be all distinctively African, yet it will also be a place where you instantly feel at home.

South Africa, Botswana & Zimbabwe Luxury Travel Review: Cape Town, Kruger National Park, Okavango Delta, Wildlife, 2-Week Trip
Neil did an awesome job curating our 2-week trip. He helped us to minimize the travel time from Cape Town to our camp in Botswana (and onward to Zimbabwe and then back into Kruger Park area in SA).  Saw all the big animals in both Botswana and SA ... guides at "and Beyond" in Okavango Delta and in the game reserve in Sabi Sand respectfully were outstanding!

Travel Review: Luxury Africa Family Safari, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Savanna Game Lodge, Chobe Game Lodge, Cape Town

Our vacation to South Africa, Zambia and Botswana was excellent. Our travel company, and especially our agent, could not have done a better job. I have traveled quite a bit with my daughter who is now 17, but the was by far the best trip we have ever taken. From our guide in Cape-Town to the most beautiful Savanna Game Lodge in Sabi Sands, The Royal Livingstone in Zambia and the Chobe Game lodge, everything was perfect.  Great local trips, the nicest people and of course the wild life were amazing. I would recommend this company highly to anyone who is planning a trip to Africa.

Travel Review: Africa Birthday Safari, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Cape Town, Franschhoek, Victoria Falls

I spoke to this Africa safari travel company just about 2 months in advance of our planned trip and was very surprised about how easy it was to arrange the trip we had hoped for.  Our contact was knowledgeable and within a few days of our request, knowing our budget, she had prepared a complete itinerary to include sightseeing and wine-tasting in Cape Town and Franschhoek and 3 days safari in Sabi Sands, next to Kruger as well as 3 days in Chobe, Botswana, concluding with a day at Victoria Falls.  The best part about the entire trip was the ease with which we were able to accomplish everything.  We arranged for our international plane and told our agent the dates and she arranged for everything else.  The cost per person excluding all air and gratuities to guides was <$6000 each and we had really 4-5 star accommodations and most meals included.  The transfers were flawless as we were met at each transfer site by a greeter with our name on a board and we never worried about missing a connection. The information packet we received before the trip prepared us well and we could not have been more pleased with the results!!

Travel Review: Africa Safari, South Africa & Mozambique, Cape Town, Kruger National Park, Winelands

Our trip was the most magical trip we've ever taken. We felt like we were in a dream that never ended. It started with our agent from this safari travel company. We spent a lot of time on the phone in the beginning, and our agent took the time to listen to what suited my family's needs. I also did my homework and new what I wanted so as our conversations in sued we put together our trip. We started at Kruger National Park and stayed at Sabi Sabi Little Bush. Then from there we went to White Pearl Resort in Mozambique. Flew to Cape Town and ended in Cape Winelands. From the hotels,  air fares transfers to our own private guide, and making dinner reservations was all done by this agent. She sent me a detailed itinerary before we left that gave us a day by day break down. This trip wouldn't have been what it was if it weren't for this company and words can't even describe the beauty of South Africa. Thanks for making our family vacation so wonderful! We can't wait to go back to visit and possibly find a place to live for a few months.

Review: Luxury Africa Safari, South Africa & Tanzania, Zanzibar, Dulini Private Game Reserve, Franschhoek Wine Tours

Our safari travel company and our tour designer were the perfect choice for our 3+ week southern Africa vacation. We have used Zicasso referrals for several monthlong vacations, including Vietnam [2015], and this 27 day trip to southern Africa [2 Tanzania safari locations, Zanzibar Island for a beach stay, then into South Africa's Cape Town and Franschhoek in the Winelands, and finally several days the Dulini Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sands section of Kruger National Park. Our travel agent recommended terrific lodgings (save one, more on that later) and arrangements including transfers were flawless. We have already begun a conversation with her about a future trip to the Maldives or Seychelles. She wisely steered us to the right regions for safari for our January/February travel, knowledgeably aware of where to have the best viewing opportunities, she listened to our preferences and understood our style of travel perfectly.  I cannot recommend this agent and her safari travel company highly enough.
